😠 Outrageous! Be careful with the free trial subscription. Logged in with Facebook but never received a confirmation email. I never used the app because despite the Pro subscription, the Pro+ version was required for the route. Now my annual fee has been debited and customer service says I have no rig... Outrageous! Be careful with the free trial subscription. Logged in with Facebook but never received a confirmation email. I never used the app because despite the Pro subscription, the Pro+ version was required for the route. Now my annual fee has been debited and customer service says I have no right of cancellation. Great, in 2021 you can still earn money dishonestly by tricking around. Not a good contribution to this world. Bad Karma.

Basically an interesting app. I find the annual fee unreasonable, especially since the details of the map material are different in DE and in FR. I missed the trial subscription by 14 hours. Unfortunately, Outdooraktiv was not willing to cancel this as a gesture of goodwill and transfer the amount back to me. There are certainly other providers with comparable maps (openStreetMap). A pity.

I bought the Outdooractive Premium app for around 10 euros (including a permanent license). Now the company is changing its business model and wants to push a subscription model (which is more lucrative for the company) onto the market. You can still access the "old" app, but the range of functions is no longer the same as when you bought it (tours "disappear" from the wish list, no updates, etc.). In addition, poor, unfriendly customer service. The company sets an example of how not to do it. This business practice is absolutely dubious and I don't recommend it. I will never come across a product from this company again. Look at how successful companies treat their customers. At least not like that...

You can't cancel your 14-day free subscription anywhere, stay away, it's a terrible rip-off!

I have been using Outdooractive for years as a paying customer and am now very disappointed. 1. The app doesn't work well. The route marked in red keeps disappearing from the map, I have to restart the tour completely so that the route becomes visible again. 2. Navigation stops as soon as I put my phone in my pocket for 1 minute. 3. I discovered some obvious errors on the map and even reported them to Outdooractive 3 times. In the case of one mistake, the route was actually corrected; in the case of the second mistake, nothing has happened to date. When I made the third mistake, I received a suboptimal answer in my opinion, telling me - as a paying customer - to contact the Bavarian surveying office so that they could correct the map. Personally, I found the idea that I as a customer and not Outdooractive as a provider had to worry about an official correction of the map a bit absurd. By the way, it was a premium tour I canceled my subscription after this conversation with customer service. I don't trust the app, I don't trust the cards, I don't like the customer service. Outdooractive is lucky that I have an annual subscription and the cancellation will not take effect until 2024. But whatever, better later than never.

I have only had the best experiences with the app so far. Even if I need help, I receive feedback and instructions within a very short time. Unfortunately, I can't understand why some people are upset about the costs. Such software also needs to be maintained and further developed. I have already tested various alternative apps. None of them come close to the Outdooractive app. In my opinion, the map selection and 3D preview with a Pro or Pro+ subscription are unbeatable. The only disadvantage is that various features such as symbols are not possible in your own recording. It would also be great if Pro+ subscribers could download the 3D preview directly as a video.

This company is dishonest. I had a trial a year ago and can’t get rid of them Beware as they are scam artists. I keep getting charged. They have charged me twice now for no usage

If you no longer want to use the app and ignore the cancellation, no goodwill or refund will be granted even one day later upon request. Of course there is no reminder before the extension. This only means that even if I had the need again, I would look for another solution. Customer loyalty is different...

All of a sudden you receive advertising for tours that are far away somewhere in Germany. Contact ([email protected]) with the company is not possible!
