Very clear green/blue water. Not many tourists and a similar alternative to Obersee. Nice round path around the lake in the shade through the forest. There are lots of spaces to swim. The water was freezing but still refreshing.

Awesome place! Beautiful lake surrounded by mountains and lots of trails. It’s possible to swim there. Saw a few snakes. Not too many tourists!

Cute little lake at the feet of the Alps. It's a nice area for hiking and enjoying the scenery. Photography wise it's also good though I prefer more impressive areas. The stone in the lake seems to attract many tourists and amateur photographers recently.

We found this place by accident 4 years ago and have since came back to visit 5 more times. Absolutely stunning

This lake spectacular for taking pictures, you are unable to take pictures and there are good trekking roads. I highly recommend a walk around the lake at least you have limited time.

Very nice lake for a relaxing and calm hike. Not many people are around which makes your walk much more calmer. A very nice view on the different mountains surrounding the lake including the Hochkalter.

One of the most beautiful lakes in Bavaria and a good place to spend time in Nature with many activities to do. You can also explore nearby Ramsau as well.

An amazing lake they you can paddle bored, kayak or paddle boat on for a nice relaxing day. It is a bit cooler at that height but on a hot day is really pleasant.

It's a very nice place for hiking or just walking around the lake. Very often it's really busy there and hard to find a legal parking spot. But the nature is breathtaking.

Super beautiful park and lake! There are many car parking near the area. Love to walk around the park n swimming but it’s really cold. Really recommended you to stop here!

Scenic lake. Perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy a coffee looking at breathtaking view of snow capped Alps and the lake.

Lovely lake and surroundings. It was a last minute plan for us and it was simply outstanding. Took a boat for rent for half hour (7 eur) and from middle of the lake we could enjoy the complete surrounding. Not a lot of walk from the bus stop. And nice path way which is neither steep nor rough. There is even a place where you can wet your hands or legs. Overall, I would recommend this place anytime.
