Excellent place, great staff, amenities were clean and very pleasant. Staff worked with us and even printed English menus to accommodate with us with out us asking. Great place to hike and bike. Small town very little open Saturday and Sunday.

Very cozy, very cute. Wonderful and welcoming staff. The bedrooms smell like pinewood and the Spa was very clean and well equipped. The food was okay, seems like a lot for the price.

Beautiful hotel, spa and pool were amazing, rooms very good (only complaint was a small shower and pillows too soft) lovely views from the balcony. Dinner and breakfast was excellent. The lift is a work of art 👍

We stayed in 5 different hotels on our 10day walking holiday in the Bavarian Alps & this was the absolute highlight. Service (especially on the front desk) was outstanding, the rooms incredibly comfortable & the food was exceptional. We are looking forward to returning one day!

Good hotel. overall beautifull interior and amazing swimming pool and bubblebath. The only thing that bothered, was the food: nothing really special and a bit salty. Would go to again!!

A nice place to stay. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good facilities. A bit tucked out of the way, you definitely need a car.

Great Alpine hotel, with amazing views, ideal for relaxation and starting point for daily trips in the region of Garmisch. Nice steam bath, sauna, jacuzzi and pool which are free of charge as well as free bikes. The restaurant is gourmet, different from other options in the area. Personel very friendly. The rooms are cute full of wood and a smell of trees! Garmisch is less than half an hour by car and Mittenwald around 10, more or less as much as you will need for Walchensee. Location in general is great since you can get out of the hotel and find your self in the begining of different hiking and bike routes. The only strange thing was that although we stayed for 10 days we never got replaced the shampoos and soaps, so we used our own from the second day onwards. I am sure however that if we asked, we would have been given. Overall, highly recommended!

An extremely nice hotel which immediately makes you feel like home. The rooms are very clean and cosy, food is truly excellent and maybe thanks to the Bavarian design it has a spirit which I have barely ever seen anywhere else. There are beautiful views of the mountains or the cute little town, and it is right next to a trail where you can hike, cycle or run, with beautiful mountain lakes only about 4 km away. A 5-min walk away is also a tennis court and there are several playgrounds around where you can take your kids. Also there is a little spa area with a swimming pool and different saunas. Last but not least, the staff (dressed in typical Bavarian clothes) couldn't be more friendly and professional.
