Simple and healthy meal Being years didn't come here for meal. Love the atmosphere, the light music as back ground and the flavour of food so light yet you can taste the sweetness of the ingredients. Very relaxing meal. Totally immerse myself with the place.

Came here 3 times cos it's near my hotel and I wanted my vegetarian food. 1st visit, I ordered bibimbap, 2nd visit, I had salad and 3rd, I had pizza on wholemeal crust. They were all good except the salad volume is a bit small for the price I paid. Highly recommend the soya bean drink and pizza.

A hidden gem in streets of old town . Great variety of choices for vegan, from eastern to western style in fusion with local taste. Reasonable price below RM18. Nice ambient (small and quiet place) suitable for less than 4 in a group to pay a visit. May take a little extra time to wait for the food to be served, please be patient. For non-vegan, you will be surprised that the food just as nice and made you forget about your usual taste of food.

This place has been around for years and they are still serving great food and services like they were on all other visits. We realised an added variety of choices in the menu which is good. With a topup of small amount, you get additional drink and dessert of the day. If you want not just vegan but healthy food, head here!

I think it's delicious for carnivores. I personally think his salad is very refreshing and would like to have another bowl. Pumpkin soup is super good, looks so ordinary but tried a bite. It can be better than the western restaurant outside, authentic. It feels good to have homemade dessert “tong shui ” to drink, specially for those who have a sore throat . The discomfort of the past few days i stay at Penang is completely gone. Thank you for such a delicious vegetarian meal. I will be back!

Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Price $ One of the best in George town . Very delicious vegetarian foods. Small, cozy restaurant with a healthy atmosphere. I want to eat here Every day. This restaurant has its own taste. Tom yum  with  brown Mee Hun was Hot and delicious. Many  choices from spaghetti to brown  rice and  noodle soup dishes. If kids who don't want to eat Veggies, bring them here. They will eat vegetables..hehehe.

Last Visit on 31 August 2017: This has got to be my FAVOURITE vegetarian restaurant. With delicious western and Malaysian food that are fresh and mostly made with whole foods. Everything I've had here so far really impressed me, very flavourful and with generous toppings. The prices here are moderate too, with good set meal deals. With the quality of food and portion, it is definitely affordable and reasonable. Staff are friendly and polite. However, service could be better and faster, so do expect a bit of a wait especially when it's busy. Situated at a touristy area, parking can be quite difficult. Still, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this for Vegan & Vegetarians and even non-vegetarians who want to get some healthier options of noodles, rice and western food.

I love the environment. The atmosphere is like a Taiwanese cafe. Service is great and polite. Food overall is great. Love their carbonara spaghetti .The spaghetti is not our usual spaghetti. It is thinner and yet the texture is great. Love it. Mushroom pizza is good. The crust is crispy. It would be great if there are more mushrooms or add the baked/fried mushroom from carbonara pasta to the pizza. The cheese is overwhelming the aroma of mushrooms. Love the soup. Overall everything is above average. 👍👍👍

Penang is truly a paradise for Southeast Asian cuisine, with influences from all over blending Chinese, Western, Indian, Malay, and Islamic styles. But most options tend to be strong flavored, high in salt, sugar, and oil. That's why it's such a rare treat to find fresh, creative vegetarian fare here. And this restaurant certainly doesn't disappoint. The flavors are light and healthy yet comforting - a true vegetarian gem in Penang. It's no wonder that even after over a decade in business, this restaurant continues thriving despite the pandemic. The ingredients are so fresh and artfully combined into dishes that nourish both the body and spirit. Dining here allows you to experience the diversity of Malaysian cuisine through vegetarian interpretations brimming with innovation. From the warm, welcoming ambience to the thoughtful preparations, everything is a delight. I'm glad I discovered this oasis of delicious and wholesome food on my culinary explorations in Penang. It's a vegetarian destination not to be missed.

Was super fresh, well presented and tasted amazing. The cafe itself was also very modern and clean. More than worth the price, 40 ringgit between two people for a lot of food and drinks!

I came here a few times during my trip. Some of the items like the laksa can be a bit too healthy but I have to say their vegetable dumpling soup is the star of the menu - super comforting and homely :) I had this dish twice and would come back for it again.

I have a sceptical idea about organic, vegan food..but this restaurant clearly knows how people like me would think of their food. They made their food to perfection. I had pumpkin pasta, it tasted good, portion is just nice, and it comes with more vege on the side. For those who are vegan or just need a healthy meal, this restaurant is where you should go. 4.5 stars.

First time here. Feeling healthy with fresh salads. Tom Yam noodle soup not really spicy. Pumpkin soup is not salty. I feel this place is pretty average.

One of my favourite vegetarian restaurants in Penang - they serve pure vegetarian foods. I like their purple sweet potato porridge (gluten-free), it's healthy and delicious. Besides, the high-fibre brown rice series is worth to try. The Leaf is an affordable place for wholesome, healthy and earth-friendly meals.

Soooo good! I miss this food so much - recipes exactly how we cook at home. Nothing chemical, only healthy, natural ingredients, interesting combination, very well balanced nutrition 💚 Thank you so much! Can propose only music without words, like classical or lofi, but rest is already great - design, stuff, light.. Beautiful evening👍

What a little fantastic place! First time ordered here on grab, and the food was so good, we decided to visit the restaurant! Had exacwthe same as a night before - tomyum soup - soo good! First time we also ordered Nepolina pizza, when it arrived, it was really small, but my dear, did it taste delicious!! We also had the garlic and chilli pasta - soo tasty! Second time we ordered bibimbap and ir was really really nice! We also tried the hand rolled seaweed wrap, such a shame we ordered just before the kitchen closed, as we would've ordered more of these delicious rolls! Really great place, would definitely visit again 👍

They actually didnt have the mushroom dish i wanted, but turns out the soup and nutmeg juice was enough. Menu is quite large; take about 10-15 min to study it all. They do a good job of trying to present all of their options as plainly as possible, despite language barriers. Quaint, air conditioned space is relaxing from the heat. Anyone looking to explore natural/plant-based meals that is not necessarily Indian should start here.

Tried their pumpkin spaghetti, the topping smoky mushroom slices taste like bacon, rich and thick pumpkin, more for sweets tooth but it was really good. The whole environment also cozy to escape from hot weather

It’s nice but a little bit pricy and the pizzas are small although really tasty and great ingredients. Went on a Sunday and quite busy. Found a place to park but it wasn’t easy.

A cool well lit cafe to slip into after a bustling stroll through Little India. Despite being almost full, the attentive server greeted us at the entrance and made sure we had a clean table and menus. Light pop music added to the ambience as we surveyed the menu and chose dishes and added to the card with the short pencil. Thank goodness we didn’t need to scan a QR code, a total buzzkill for me. Ordered the Tom yam spaghetti featured in the front as well as seaweed spring rolls, potato leaves, and two mushroom appetizer. All food had distinctive tastes with a well thought out sauce for each dish. All delicious. Service also outstanding with plates cleared and people checking in on us a few times throughout our meal.

Super good basil rice, nice dessert, and peppermint tea. Strange they brought the desert and tea before meal but they bought it back later as I asked. And not 5 stars because I felt rush to eat because they were about to close (9h15 pm).

Had the tomato spaghetti and the soy milk. The spaghetti was average and the sauce was not as thick as I had expected and wanted but the taste was decent. The soy milk was quite good and came in a cute little clear plastic bottle.

Really good, healthy vegan food. Went here twice while in Georgetown for different noodle bowls. They also have a jelly dessert thing that is delicious, albeit slightly hard to eat because it's so slippery!

Good selection of vegetarian rice/noodle dishes. Enjoyed our vegetarian meal. Rendang was creamy, but lacking the distinct kerisik/spice taste (it shouldn’t be compared to non-vegetarian version anyway). Bibimbap was good. The ‘gochujang’ sauce replacement was a perfect substitute. Peanuty sauce that blends well with the rice. Organic soy milk tasted exactly the same like the bottled V-soy Portion were good. Huge for light eater. Front staff vy accommodating and friendly. SOP done well. 16 Mar 2022

Calm, peaceful vibe and great vegan food. We loved the green curry pizza. The dumpling soup was just nice. The hot lemon and honey drink was soothing. Recommended this plsce.

Yes it's a good place for vegan. Price is reasonable. Bibimbap is deliz, the sauce is so good. But my mom ordered turmeric rice, too much turmeric powder that it tasted a bit bitter on my tongue. The vegetable rolls is good, so does the konjac. Overall it's a nice vegan place, I would reccomend. The staff is friendly and kind.
