A bit run down but i love the staff's enthusiasm. Irregardless of number of visitors, they still gave us good show. A bit solemn, tho 🤣.. Type of birds in cages are also similar so although the number of cages are a lot, they're the same species. Pay RM1 to feed the pigeons & dove. They're extremely approachable. There's no food stall inside at the moment due to lack of staffing, so you may want to buy drinks and snacks at the counter before the entrance.

Advisable to come early in the morning when the sun is not so hot. We enjoyed our time coming here, you can feed some of the birds and touch them. The birds are well maintained and the scenery is amazing. I like how the place is well-kept though there are some areas that need improving like the bird show but we saw that they are still repainting a few places when we went and we are glad to see it being maintained. It was our first time coming here and the staff were amazing and great. Will definitely come again.

Lost count of how many birds and species there are but it’s a big park with not only birds but crocodiles, rabbits and turtles. Lots of fun not only for kids, but also for adults as well. Free souvenirs vouchers. Don’t forget to bring mosquitoes repellent with you. Also some bird feed/sunflower seeds if you can get hold of some.

A popular jogging trek to sweat out along JPS bund in Seberang Jaya. The distance from road to culvert is 0.99 km. The jogging trek is between Sg Derhaka and Sg Pertama. Both rivers are more like drainage than rivers but popular with anglers. Jogging trek will be extremely hot during the day as there is no shady tree.

3.5 stars 1/7 the size of Singapore’s bird park, and not particularly intuitive (it’s like 7 rows of birds flanked by 2 rows of birds, in an oddly claustrophobic arrangement) birds weren’t kept in very good conditions either, the ostrich looked one step from the grave (and rather concerningly, one step away from a large pot). random animals were scattered through the park like a group of very scraggly rabbits, marmosets and crocodiles ?? did they pick those up on accident and just decide to erect a display or—) eagles and owls were kept in really small enclosures. pheasants were repeated like 83839 times. highlights were feeding the pigeons with food not meant for the pigeons (seeds from another enclosure) and watching a peasant bob its head to our seed maracas. For RM45 I can’t say it’s worth it, compared to places like entopia! still fun ig?

The biggest bird park in Malaysia with 300+species. A wonderful escape from the touristy hustle and bustle. Ticket is just RM38 for adults, reasonable considering they are for maintaining the center. Parking is free - opposite the entrance. Set 2 hours for this, more if you're photographing and identifying the various birds. Bird show starts at 11.30am. Signboards and staffs speak English and local languages. Birds are well cared for, and the staffs genuinely care for the place. Hopefully with more visitors or campaigns, some renovation can be done to improve the facilities.

It was a magnificent sight to even look at the species that was available here. As a nature lover it was a sanctuary. The place is very well mantained and the staffs are fairly friendly. Not single litter was visible in the vicinity They were many species that's hard to see but I. Here it's well mended. Nice place to bring kids and nature lovers. Few reminders: 1. Be sure to bring water, shades and cap/hat to protect yourself on sunny day 2. Bring mosquito repellents along since it's a as close to real habitat of the birds. 3. Certain bird habitat tends to have stench or foul smell, be mindful. 4. It's wheel chair accessible but not recommended for people who can't walk long distances. 5. Lastly, be mindful to follow the cleanliness signs displayed. And do not litter and make noises!

Brought my child here and it was enjoyable. Don't forget to bring light snack and mineral water if you bring your child here. Only one small shop inside and not so many item sold there. Entrance: Adult - 38.00 Children above 2 years - 15.00 The bird show is really amazing. You can feed them directly. The view also nice and relaxing. Also don't forget to bring mosquito repellent as they were lots of them here, for your child's safety.

The place has a decent collection of bird species from around the world. It's actually a very nice setup but poorly maintained and riddled with mosquitoes 🦟 (I've never been bitten by so many mosquitoes at one time in my entire life!). It's definitely worth a visit for the kids but make sure you've got your repellent handy.

My first time visit here with families, not expecting too much from here with the ticket price about RM36. Lil old and run down a bit maybe because lack of maintenance. But overall we had our fun there. They also have free flight bird cage, not as big as at KL but enough to had my daughter view up close with variety of birds.

One of the very well maintained bird park. A lot of interesting birds and animals from all over the world. Saw many kind of birds from the birds paradise Papua New Guinea. Many of the species can be observed in close distance. The bird show is very interesting, you can see one of the largest eagle species in Malaysia. One of the best attraction in Penang.

Ventured to the mainland today to visit the Bird park. Wasn't by any means the nicest we've been to, but we still enjoyed ourselves. Had one bold budgerigar fly up on me, and then all of the others followed suit 😂

Love the park. Googled it first before I went there and read lots of good reviews and totally agree with them. The park is clean, not smelly even with all the birds, great service by the staff, child friendly as well, the size is just nice. It is not too big or too small. Love the bird show. The admission fees also okay for me. RM25 for adult and RM15 for children above 2 years. Exactly as KL Bird Park. One of an attraction place to visit when you are in Seberang Perai. Perhaps the park could make more parking space in the future.

This is not free-roaming Bird Park like the one in KL. Some of the birds are free-roaming but you dont see them mingle with visitors like what happened in KL. The restaurant is closed when i visited, so cannot comment on that. Probably will close for some time considering the state that the place is in. Souveniers are affordable but not much of them are unique to the Bird Park. If you buy from Klook, can save some money. Be sure to come when bird show is about to start around 11.30am and 3.30pm There is a place that you can feed rabbits for RM1 price of food.

Good place to go for education especially for kids so they have a bit of knowledge of wild life especially birds. Their collection seems to be the same birds in a few cages. Just need more maintenance on the park

  • 2/5 Shaik N. 1 year ago on Google
The Bird Park looks not as big as it used to be. There used to be various types of birds with different size, color, shape etc. Now they only have several types of birds species. Kids might enjoy watching birds especially the bird show which is around 1130 hours. I will not recommend anybody to go here. By the way, the ticket price is quite high.

This Bird Park has been here since 1988, it is well looked after, the staff are all very serious about the work of the Bird Park. and keeping it very nice. Can spend hours just wandering about, sitting in the Malay style sitting area's. The Gift shop is well stocked, Food and drinks are also available. A very worth while visit.

This is the most amazing Bird Park I have ever been to. I visited on weekdays and it wasn't that much crowded. So I enjoyed it fully. The staff's were soo cool they guided me how to feed the birds lol. In end the Bird show was so beautiful and perfectly choreographed hats off to them. Apologies for late upload as I thought I lost this memories. In near future I will visit this again.

A good place for children to discover 'mergastua' and interact with the nature. There are also have 'bird show' at 11.30 a.m. A good way to spending time with thr kids. Located in the urban area of Perai, Penang. Limited parking spaces near the premise, better come early.

We arrived at 9 am, greeted by friendly staff. You can really appreciate the beauty and colour of the birds, many were perched at front of cage so can see up close. Good place to spend an hour. A few mosquitoes isi wear long sleeves.

Good for a half day family outing. Friendly staff. Limited car parking available in front of the place. Please don't park near by the river road, The monkeys destroyed my car antenna and the door switch. Inside the park it could get very hot and humid which will dehydrate you, so please carry plenty of water. The park has improved a lot compared to few years ago. They have created mini forests inside which is a good experience. Overall we had a good time.

The first bird park in Msia, over 30 yr old. A little in need of improvement. Cages of wire mesh need to be changed to something less obstructive. Glass enclosure are reflective type that made viewing difficult. The bird show is good.

At first glance, its look like a small aviary. But once you start walking via the designated pathways you will know that is not the case. Got hundred species of birds here to see. At the end of path, there is place for birds show. It's quite an entertaining show, so dont miss it.

Make sure you get in time for the bird show so you can watch some tricks. Typically done at 11.30am, and there's another session in the late afternoon. Be armed with a repellent to fight mosquitoes.

This is a very old park. My parents brought me here once when I was still a child and today I came back with my husband and son. Seems like they are struggling with the maintenance as the park looks a bit run down. But, the park is quite clean I must say. There is a lot of bird species to see as well as amazing bird show. Entrance fee is quite expensive but as long as the money goes back to the birds, I dont mind paying.

Good for 2-3 hours relaxing walk among the birds keep in many cages. Two cages however are open for bird feeding around the time, and there is a bird show twice daily, but not as fun as any other parks.

  • 4/5 David B. 10 months ago on Google
Enjoyed the bird park however I feel it could do with an injection of cash to give more space and better conditions to the birds. There was a closed run down restaurant and with a good investment this place could be a real home for the wildlife and a amazing place to visit.

There are a million mosquitoes and quite a few birds. One layer of insect repellent didn’t stop them. The bird show was fun but the stage was too high so it was hard to see what they were doing. We saw all the birds within the hour in the morning and waited around for the bird show. Lady was a bit rude re:klook vouchers but maybe a language barrier.

  • 4/5 Hong Ming C. 3 years ago on Google
Went during weekday, and we basically have the whole place for us. :p It is big, though not a lot of different bird but still a good opportunity for us and our baby to learn different type of birds.

  • 3/5 Walter van P. 1 year ago on Google
This is potentially a lovely place to visit, but the first impression is poor as you are led into the gardens is all the small cages with exotic birds. It all looks a little sad and I can't imagine the birds are too happy here. As you follow the Sini signs you come past many aviaries where the birds are freer and some where you can feed them with seed from coin operated dispenser. Eventually you come across more pavilions with much better conditions for the birds and a few other animals like crocodiles. The walk around turns out to be quite lovely, but when you need some aircon and a Cafe, it isn't there. The restaurant was closed, the airconditioned shop sold a few drinks but seats were limited to some with no aircon. There are no eating options close by either. This place could be so much more. I hope the excessive entry pri$$e will be used to improve the facilities here.

  • 4/5 J J. 6 months ago on Google
Nice bird park for decent entrance fee. Staff gives good service. Some nice bird species. I would recommend to go on the more cooler parts of the day, since the birds tend to find shelter during the hottest part of the day. Recommended to go in the morning or late afternoon. You can spend easily about 2/3 hours if you want to see and enjoy all the animals.

My kad holder (Adult) RM25 and children is RM15.

I just went there for a visit during weekday. The bird show is around 11AM. The park is basically clean. But the entry ticket is quite pricey, RM38 per Malaysian Adult. And they said you can feed the birds using a coin machine, but unfortunately there is none working. Some spot isn't well maintained. But overall the birds collection is quite decent and many species.

Its spacious and has many variety of birds. I am not sure if its the design of the cage that some birds are hidden...at the counter they give us some laminated cards and we need to pay rm5 dep for each card. I think this is totally unnecessary since they are also issuing tickets. One may 4get to return the card and may end up not claiming the money.
