Historical trail with granites from China and cast iron handrail fittings from UK. We Penangites have very expensive taste indeed. When high tide, the trail doubled as the only "enclosed seawater swimming lane" in Penang... Maybe the world? When there is no big waves, its a good place for children to wade through knee deep water! Welcome to Heritage George Town!

Newly opened. A good spot for morning jog. If you walk towards the end of the food court. You will see a small path leading to a nice fishing port.

This area is not crowded, with a few beggars and street vendors. It is not advisable to go down below (close the water's edge). On that day, I saw a man using a flashlight to search for his items below, he slipped and fell.

Simple waterfront walkway, near Padang Kota Lama and Penang Town Hall Building. Such a nice place, not crowded at all (at weekday).

Good place for walking and relaxing with family. The only promenade in the city center where you can walk along the sea. There is a food court nearby.

Very comfortable with sea breeze and good view. You can come alone or with friends and family. But it is difficult to find parking here.

This is a beautiful place to explore at evening or morning. I came here at noon it was too hot to stay longer here. Definitely will come back next time to enjoy the sea breeze.
