We booked two amazing tours with JungleWalla on our recent holiday in Langkawi : family trekking and mangrove boat tour. The JungleWalla team are very dedicated and professional. The tours organised were ecologically responsible. Communication and reservation with Ms. Sri was hassle free. She patiently answer to all of my questions. Our guide for both tours, Mr Azri was friendly & knowledgeable. I really admire the amazing skill of the boatman, Mr Jimi. Keep up the good work! These tours are the highlight of our family trip. It was fun, interesting and suitable for all ages.

Vonesha was an excellent guide and a cool person. The 5 hr experience going up and down was challenging but worth it for views and a cool water lagoon at the bottom. Be prepared to work hard in the humidity without the sun as the canopy provides total shade until the very top! Junglewalla works at your pace and level of fitness so enjoy the experience! Highly recommended!

Best tour in Langkawi! Super knowledgable guide, responsible tourism, beautiful places, and very well organized. Totally recommend it! We took the “Langkawi Unesco Geopark Mangrove Cruise” and it was by far our favorite activity in Langkawi. You’ll get to see a lot of the island that would be imposible to see without a tour, and you’ll get to learn so many things about the island and its nature. They picked us up on time and were so kind to accommodate a last-minute change on the pick up point without any hassle. At the jetty we met our guide, Hermi, who was one of the best guides I ever had! He was so passionate and knowledgable, he patiently explained so many interesting details about the island history, nature, ecosystem, and its sustainability. One can tell he’s got lot of experience with groups because he could keep everyone interested (even small kids!), with a very good management of the time and amount of information provided. We were amazed by all the animals we were able to spot in their natural environment: mudskippers, different type of eagles, exotic birds, crabs, monkeys (and we learn so many things about them!). The landscapes were so beautiful (mangroves, beaches, limestone cliffs) and the timing for every activity is just perfect. We spent an amazing morning in a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We totally recommend this tour to anyone visiting Langkawi! Hermi totally changed the way I see and appreciate mangroves. Thank you Henri for sharing so much of your knowledge! We will always remember you and your dedicated job!

Exploring the sounds & movements of animals, birds, cicadas around Gunung Raya, Langkawi during sunset with Vonusha & Adik of JungaWalla who drove us up the Gunung. Vonusha has wide knowledge on the ecosystems of the rainforests & the animals, plants, trees, birds. I learn amazing sharings from her. Tqvvm. The sounds of frogs among the fern bushes, the sight of Dusky Leaf monkeys, the beautiful sightings of a pair of the Great Hornbills & the Drongo bird was indeed breathing!! Hopefully I can see at closer range of the Great Hornbills during my nex trip & take pixs! Till then, Gunung Raya 💖!

UNESCO Mangrove Tour was very good. Guide who took his time and explained a lot. No Eagle or Monkey feeding, no dropping off at tourist traps like floating restaurants. Just focused on nature.

The kayaking tour of the mangroves was fantastic. Our guide, Venosha, was very knowledgeable and especially helpful. Kayaking was not too hard but was still very good exercise and we saw a number of birds, mud skippers, crabs and an ancient cave which was very interesting. Lunch was delicious!

I booked a snorkelling tour in Pulau Payer through Junglewalla. Absolutely horrifying experience with the snorkelling tour provider 99 Islands Divers. I am aware that Junglewalla’s other tours are highly rated but please don’t join their snorkelling tour due to the poor arrangements of the other provider and terrible conditions of the seawater there. I am just really curious why would a highly reputed tour agency would partner with a company like 99 Islands Divers. It would be much appreciated if Junglewalla could tell me when I booked the tour that they are not actually the one operating the snorkelling tour so I could at least look up the other company beforehand and avoid having this big disappointment today.

Highy recommended, Amazing service from the girls, we did a country side cycling tour and they were very accommodating to our 30 minute push on schedule, and they were happy to slow down when we got tired and provided water, they took us to a few cool spots and picked us up in a car at the end of the trip. Very friendly and answered all our curious questions. A bit of a drive to the pick up point but totally worth it

Mangrove Boat cruise Had a fantastic half day trip on the mangrove boat cruise. Our guide Shafwah was excellent, knowledge and friendly, and boat captain excellent. We were taken through the beautiful mangroves and coast, pointing out interesting facts about the region as well as animals such as monkeys, bats and birds. This was a small group tour which was ideal and also eco-friendly. Highly recommended!

Mangrove boating tour-A very good activity - good boating experience, knowledge and thought provoking and nice cool private swim in the beach with finally a tasty home cooked meal. Junglewallah provided a memorable and enjoyable experience. Special shout out to our guide Francis who made the entire experience unique with his in depth knowledge and vast experience and trivia. Highly recommended

Guide was knowledgeable and helpful enough, would have liked to have been notified that the tide was going to be very low the day we went, so had to walk thru ankle deep mud to launch are kayaks. Then we could not paddle inside the mangroves which was the main reason we went. Only seen two bird, zero wildlife and also could not go inside caves. Was very disappointing, we live on a lake and own kayaks. I wouldn't have wasted the money for a tour like this. We wanted a unique experience and didn't get it. Make sure to ask about the tide and if you will be able to go inside the mangroves, I'm aware it's nature and out of their control, but would have liked the option.

Mangrove cruise tour with Venosha was well organised and very informative. The Rainforest walking tour with Mr Shaban was an incredible experience, he’s a walking encyclopaedia of Langkawi’s rainforest and its flora and fauna.

Usually not a big fan of pre-booked group tours, but this one was great. Small group for Kayaking with great, friendly and experienced guides who gave us many insights about the Mangroves. The tour was fun and the local lunch was really good (amazing vegetation option!).

We enjoyed our mangrove kayaking tour with our guide. Although it was challenging at times, we now have a sense of satisfaction that we completed it. Our guide was really nice and was great at explaining the history / context of the places we visited on our kayaking trip. We also enjoyed our lunch trip at a local Malay house. Would recommend!

If i could give this tour more than 5 Stars i would. Me and my partner joined Hermie & Pak Din for a Night Tour yesterday evening which was fantastic from start to finish. Hermie was very knowledgable, fun, spoke very well, offered very interesting details and information on all of the local island wildlife. The highlights of our trip were when we were even lucky enough to see Great Hornbills, a Flying Lemur and Flying Squirrel! This Tour is a must-see when you are in Langkawi.

The tour was amazing, respectful of Langkawi natural environment and it’s flora and fauna. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we appreciated all the explanations. The lunch was delicious and having it in a local house was priceless as we could really enjoy the Maleysian food. Five stars to these guys, keep up the great work and keep Langkawi wild!

We were quite apprehensive on going on the island hopping tour but we did end up going as it was quite cheap. Only RM30 per person which includes pick up and drop off from Pantai Cenang. We were ferried around in a speed boat through three islets. The pregnant maiden and the big lion were where we actually landed. It was a thoroughly enthralling experience. The speedboat was really fast and it jumps up and down whenever it hits the wave. This was a nightmare for some of the tourists with us but I had an awesome time as I am an adrenaline junkie. On the pregnant maided you are requires to pay RM3 to enter the lake which was about 300 metres inside. Plenty of wildlife with monkeys and birds. The lake itself provides great scenery and you can even go for a dip. Then we were brought to the Eagle feeding spot where we are able to view majestic eagles soaring to grab the food. On the last island we had to dip in as it was so picturesque but beware of the stealing monkey. The total time spent was between 3 to 4 hours and for the price paid it was awesome.

Me and my husband is on our honeymoon in Malaysia. This is our almost second weeks in Langkawi. Other tourist places is around 300RM, but this one is just 140RM. We attended the Geopark boat tour today. The nature we've been there is amazing. The price is very reasonable. But it seemed that they just accept cash ?

Very professional operator and interesting excursion! Our guide was great – Hermi is attentive, knowledgeable and speaks very well English. We went with him on bird watching, and we were amazed by how he and his driver spotted rare birds during our trip. Highly recommended!
