A great place to bring your kids. Must spend around one and a half hour to 2 hours atleast so that the kids can read about animals, observe their behaviours a nd kind if try to interact with them. Feeding is an additional fun activity, the horse do bite so stay away from them. Some of the rabbits are in open for you to pet and take pictures of them. Must come on a cloudy day as it can be very hot in open.

Plan to go for boat ride at Gunung Lang. Reached at 1045am and the counter was closed. Asked the staff and was told the boat service was closed from 11am - 230pm on Friday. Disappointed. Since we were there, went to the petting zoo and yet another disappointment. Nothing much to visit inside the petting zoo. Small area and some of the animal are not well fed and some of the water container for animal were empty. Very hot inside despite visit there at 11am. Need improvement on the ventilation and environment. Ticket: RM8 for adult and kid. FREE for adult over 60 years old. #petting #zoo #animal #ipoh #gununglang

Blown away by the amount of animals here and the care provided for them! 8myr per adult is so worth if it contributes to so many exotic species in clean, spacious cages! there were many staff to look after the animals, give fun facts, and show you how to handle the animals. i ESPECIALLY love their reptile segments!! the staff there were especially nice and help me take photos! they are very knowledgable and i really appreciate them letting me handle so many animals. kids can enjoy petting the furry creatures like guinea pigs and rabbits. you can also buy feed at a cheap 2 myr. the place is huge and you can easily spend 2 hours here. it can self-guided with many placards to let you learn about the animals. outside there are emus, peacocks, goats, cows, etc.! although some animals were kept in small cages (like the male chicken inside and some cats) i understand they may have reasons. baby meerkats were put into a smaler cage, while some cats were maybe quarantined. not sure, but place is so big so they definitely have space for them πŸ‘.

We came here during the weekends and the entrance fee is reasonable (less than RM10/adult). There are ample free parking space in front of the place so don’t worry about parking trouble. There aren’t a lot of variety of animals in here but you get a mixture of birds, reptiles, and other alike goats, cows, and koala. I recommend touching some of the animals here that have staff supervision but definitely stay away from some of the larger animals if your kids are too young. The service here was fine, the staffs were friendly and we didn’t encounter any bad hiccups along the way. We were approached by a staff to take a family photo but we didn’t buy it near the exit as the photo was not the best. Overall, we enjoyed our time there but there isn’t enough animals to warrant a second visit in the future. Bear in mind that half of the place has a roof but the other half (outdoors) can easily be affect by heavy rain so it is best to come at another time if the weather is not in your favor.

Good place to bring young kids. Despite the name petting zoo, there is not much of animals for you to pet except some hedgehogs, bunnies, and Guinea pigs. Everything else are all inside large cages or enclosures. They do sell packet of food for you to feed the various animals like chicken, ducks, goats, lambs, horses and cows. The animals enclosures are not the best of conditions and it gets quite hot. The animals also look not the best of health. You probably spend about 20-30 mins in there. Tickets are RM8 for adults.

So worth it! For a ticket of RM6/person you get to see so many animals and even feed them! Animal food can be purchased at rm2/packet. We got to see ostriches, hedgehogs, snakes, geckos, sugar gliders, cats, ponies, varieties of chickens and ducks, goats and even sheep at one place and closed up! Eggs were found inside the chicken coops and my daughter of 6 yr old was elated ! No queue and not crowded during our visit. We were there at around 10 plus in the morning of a Saturday. When we were leaving around 11 plus, crowd was building up.

Do visit this place with your family as the price ticket for an adult is only RM6, the feeds were sold RM2 each. Various animals can be seen and pet, clean environment and the animals are generally well taken care. However for the rabbits most of them are trembling in fears maybe due to the loud noises.

Went on Sunday morning. Plenty of parking slots available. No wait. Not as many as types of animals as advertised. There are outdoor and indoor exhibitions. Recommended if you have kids that love small animals (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters) will have chance to touch them (thus the name petting zoo).

There are a variety of farm animals ranging from goats, sheeps, hedgehogs, chickens, rabbits, snakes, birds, raccoons and iguanas. The animals are also friendly and safe to touch. The entry price is only rm5. The animal’s food packet cost rm2 if you’re interested to feed them. Great for kids.

Alot of animals there. You can buy food for animal, but most of them already fed by alot of people and don't wanna eat anymore. At the end, you will throw the rest of food in one of the cage. Only goats eat all the foods, so just buy alot of goat food

For a Flat price of RM6 to have experience touching animals like guinea pic, hamsters, cats, horses, goats, snakes, bearded dragons, and many more is a STEAL. It was great to bring kids here. And for extra RM2 you can get a pack of food to feed animals by hand. To feed sheeps by hand is a magical feeling. Would recommend ppl who loves animals to stopby especially with kids

Entrance ticket is RM 5.00 for both adult and kid. I enjoyed this place very much. You can touch these animals, feed them and play with them. These are the advantages of this place compared to other zoo where animals are kept in cages and far from visitors. Most animals here were very very friendly. You could run and chase them around the zoo. Although this zoo was quite small but it was very fun because you get to interact with them freely. There were more than 4 stalls here selling variety of food and drinks. Highly recommended!

Great place to expose your kids with wild life. Others complained about smelly place but what do you expect when you visit this kinda place?? Smells like perfume section in shopping mall?? Some people are really nonsense. Only one thing to improve is to change the zinc roof to more cooler type, you're gonna feel a bit hot inside especially during midday/afternoon. Overall I recommend it for parents with little kids.

This is a mini zoo located at the foothill. RM8 for the entrance per adult. Animal feeds are sold separately. The entrance is wide, wide pathways wind through the petting zoo. There are staffs giving a short introduction about the animals and some also show you how to pet/pick up the animals. Most kids loved rabbits enclosure. Most of the rabbits have clean fur, which I think they are doing a good job maintaining those animals Some animals were kept in cages. I remembered vividly the tiger stripe cat that was kept in the cage. It looked so bored and restless. The cat did have a pair of very nice heterochromic eyes. That's why I felt sad. The baby chicks were pretty cute running around. All the chickens were kept in the coop, but the hole is big enough for the chicks to move in and out of the coop.

This Petting Zoo may not boast the grandeur of larger establishments. Some people may find this place a bit small and not enough animals to warrant for a second visit because you can easily finish seeing all the animals within 1 hour. Overall, it is a good starting place to bring kids to learn about animals.

Last time i came the tix was RM 2 if not mistaken. Now the tix has increased to RM 8 per entry for adult. Nice ambiance and views from the cave behind. Got few animal friendly u can pet, so far worth visiting.

Please improve welfare of the animals. Too overcrowded, not enough water access point, not enough shades. Some animals don't even have any water. Sad to see especially during hot weather. Please clean their water container, mold are growing already On the positive side, variety of animals species are available. Complete facility - cafe, toilet, surau, lots of parking space

Ok if nothing else to do or if have young kids. Animals are kept in small cages, they could afford to increase the space for the caged animals as some of them look quite miserable. Horses / ponies and ostrich don't look healthy at all - quite pitiful. Cats are kept in tiny cages.

RM6 entrance fee for both Malaysian adult and child ticket and you can enjoy petting various animals. Free entrance for warga emas 58yo and above. My kids enjoyed their time there. But it was unfortunate for us visiting the place during rainy days. We only managed to walk around 1/2 hour before heavy rain came.

Went there during weeked so expect a lot of people. But still managed to find parking. Wait in line to buy entrance tickets and directly to the entrance gate. Animal food sold separately. Most animals are full already due to lots of visitors.
