Very big AEON mall in Kinta City, Ipoh. It has renovated to a lot of shops from clothing to food. Plenty of parking spaces as well. Good place to shop for this area. It also has cinema & bowling center!

Previously known as Jaya Jusco or JJ, it is still one of the most important shopping centres in Ipoh. Nostalgic place nevertheless for old-time Ipoh locals. The Good: 1) TGV cinema. 2) Motorcycle parking is free & fully shaded; a standard for AEON Mall. Kudos to them! 3) They save decent parking spaces; outside (non-shaded) and rooftop (partially shaded). 4) They always work with Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun (Hospital Ipoh) to hold blood donation event in their mall. Donate your blood! It may save others. 5) Got a lot selection of restaurants and diners: McDonald's, Starbucks, Black Canyon, Seoul Garden, and many more in the ground floor. They also have their own foodcourt which serves all sort of variety in food. 6) Got bowling alley. Not the best alleys in Ipoh, but surely enjoyable. The Bad: 1) The building itself is pretty old, and small according to nowadays shopping mall standards. 2) 2 shopping-lot floors; not much choices, but enough. 3) Traffic flow is quite confusing, especially when high traffic of visitors. 4) The exits are quite challenging for medium-skilled drivers as the exits conjoined with main roads.

A really nice place to shop and hangout. Varieties of shops, restaurants and outlets available here with AEON being the major tenant. It is always crowded and packed even in the weekdays. There are two parking area available, outdoor and multi layer parking. Strategically located at Medan Ipoh, just driving distance from the highway.

The first Aeon Mall in Ipoh, located in Ipoh Garden. It's strategically located. It has basically all the basic things that you can expect, like Padini, Coffee Bean, Shilin, Pizza Hut, Johnny's... Its grocery is not very big, but generally has all the basic necessity. The toilets can and definitely be improved.

It had a little of everything. Like all other Aeon malls the supermarket and department stores are on separate ends. Toilets need a lot of maintaining. It's wet and dirty and I was in there at 10am.

Smaller than Ipoh Parade but still drawing the crowds. This mall seems to be popular to the surrounding neighbourhood, with car parks usually full during peak hours. As with their other chains, the mall is anchored by AEON supermarket. There's also 2 floors of retail, F&B, homewares, telecommunications and much more.

Visited this mall when there was Tourism Malaysia roadshow. Generally quite impressed with the mall. Has all the stores you need but with that being said, there’s not that many stores. The mall is long rather than tall and if I’m not mistaken it’s only 3 floors. I like that they have ground floor parking, makes going in and out of the mall quickly. There’s all parking on the upper floors. I enjoyed the selections here such as Aeon supermarket, Tealive, llaollao, kenny rogers, sushi king and a few others!

The items sold in the mall are cheap and affordable. Especially the food court upstairs. There are many choices, especially the three-color milk tea and toast are delicious.

A favorite hangout spot for locals in Ipoh. No shortage of cafes and restaurants. Have to call out the ground floor supermarket which has been here for yonks and pretty well sells anything you need including some imported food items. You know it is always a busy shopping center when the carparks get filled up fast. Also an excellent place to catch up with friends for drinks after work.

A complete mall with various good tenants inside it. Located near to the PLUS highway, it is very accessible and convenient. At the supermarket, the range of fresh items local grown or imported produce are fresh and the price range is affordable. You can find things which suited to your preference here. Bookstores, apparells shops, gadgets and multi media. Just name it. It is a wonder a mall which is more than 20 years but still an attraction to citizens in Ipoh.

By Ipoh standards, this is a decent shopping mall. This is going to be a review on the supermarket alone. Aeon Supermarket is very humongous and contains a large variety of items, ranging from freshest greens to imported food items. Sometimes, especially during festive seasons, some of their products are cheaper than those sold at nearby Lotus's. The only thing that irritates me about this supermarket is the customer service. It is really slow, especially at the checkout counters. One time, only a handful of cashiers were opened to handle a flood of customers. That said, try not to come during the weekend because it can be crowded here when the masses are not working. The only payment system is a downer. It takes a while for a new user to navigate it.

One of the biggest mall in ipoh city, please note that they are open at 10am, was here before 10 and we cannot even wait inside. The big grocery and the department store are the main attraction beside tgv cinema and an exotic animal museum. Was come here for a good deal of glasses and a drink.

Pros: ✅️ Strategic location ✅️ Ample of parking space ✅️ Walking distant to Lotus and hotspots are lessn than 5km ✅️ Food tenants are known brand ✅️ Great for window shopping only Cons: ❎️ Interior is ageing ❎️ Food tenants are too little and choices are too limited ❎️ No upscale brand tenants available ❎️ Tenants are mundane ❎️ Elderly friendly but totally not a place for millennials

This mall hasn’t changed much since I visited here when I’m a kid. Kinda nostalgic. Now it’s still a swamp place in Ipoh. The department store definitely needs a facelift it doesn’t inviting or having any shopping spree. Toilet is better than Ipoh Parade but it can be improved.

a shopping haven for families and individuals, a huge variety of brand outlets, cafes and restaurants. I just love the almost daily Roadshows and Events, an added bonus to the already Fun, Joyful & Loving atmosphere. Super fun Children's playground, and the Cinema upstairs. Parking isn't an issue, with Friendly and helpful security staff. Cleanliness and upkeep is at the very best.

Even through it's considered old , to me and to many people, it's the best ÆON in ipoh, it has a great supermarket and all the retail shops you need from expensive electronics to beauty products to fresh seafood and more! I really enjoy the classic shopping center experience this place provides, and it is always renovating or improving some places to make it relevant in this day and age, definitely recommended to anyone who happens to be in the area. It is not too big that it gets tiring to walk around and find the shops you need however it's not small either that you wouldn't get bored. The toilets are clean.

My regular haunt! Supermarket foods : very fresh n ample. Food outlets : good options available except that it was regrettable the Chinese food court couldn't be sustained. I think 1 of the reasons was too many stalls selling SAME items & taste wise was sub-standard, but still pricey. I love the buskers - good entertainment

Nothing to shout about. Nearest to my home. No comparison to other shopping malls in KL etc. For Ipoh it's ok I guess. The service at the supermarket is extremely slow esp. checkout counters. So many people, but only 3 counters open. The online payment system sucks big time. I spent a good hour plus standing in line. 😡

Aeon Kinta is the oldest Aeon Mall in Ipoh. Located in Ipoh Garden his access is easy from the highway and most parts of Ipoh. It is popular for his supermarket and food outlets. The range of shops is relatively limited but covers sports, shoes, electronics, clothes, home appliances and tools and most sought after other items. Try to avoid weekends, parking space will be sparse.

Small mall by modern standards... even smaller than Ipoh Parade... there is a lack of variety in terms of tenants. However, most of the population in Ipoh seems to frequent this mall often. On another note, the cashless parking system needs an upgrade as the scanner doesn't always work.

Until now was satisfied with this shopping centre, but today had different experience as to no more ticket parking, as I was not travelling with my credit cards, I has to use highway plus card to enter, but on the way out the gate bar would not open so had to reverse and go back to counter and the lady in charge gave me chopped parking ticket to go out. SO INCONVENIENT, for senior citizen, without any instructions just change . I am wondering loud what if the person does not credit card, what than? Don't just take for granted that all have credit card or debit card, some old timers still believe in carrying cash. Very disappointed 😞

went for grocery at 7 jan 2024. however. it was extremely difficult to get a parking as there was a carnival/bazaar which held at the parking area. was stuck in the parking for more than 30 minutes. Management should plan properly prior to any event.
