One
of
the
best
short
trips
you
can
make
in
Galle.
Apart
from
the
man
made
rectangular
shaped
pools
(limestone
mining)
there's
a
lovely
beach
with
an
awesome
view.
There
are
at
least
30
holes
on
the
coral
reef
in
various
sizes.
There's
a
safe,
shallow
swimming
water
pocket
nearby.
Beware
of
sea
urchins.
Make
sure
that
when
you
go
outside
those
holes
and
stepping
on
them.
Their
stings
can
be
quite
painful
and
hard
to
remove.
It's
usually
a
busy
place.
My
advice
is
to
avoid
the
weekends
which
can
be
quite
crowded.
There's
no
entry
fee
to
this
place
for
both
locals
and
foreigners.
But
they
charge
an
absurd
amount
of
LKR
300
for
parking
(for
a
car)
and
also
LKR
100
for
a
freshwater
bath.
There
are
few
tire
swings
nearby
and
they
charge
like
LKR
100
for
that
thing.
