It is the cathedral of the city of Pereira. Built in 1854 it represents the house of the Catholicism in Pereira. It is one of the biggest churches of the coffee region with the cathedral of Manizales "Basilica Metropolitana Nuestra Señora del Rosario". It presents a beautiful construction on wood in the interior with walls of thick brick at the sides and covered with metal at the exterior. If you visit Pereira this is a obligatory stop even if you are not catholic. You can come and see it's beautiful architecture and decorations of the interior. The hours for going to the mass are between Monday and Saturday at: 7:00 am 8:00 am 12:00 pm 5:00 PM 6:00 PM And the Sunday's the mass is at: 7:00 am 8:00 am 9:00 am 11:00 am 12:00 PM 5:00 PM 6:00 PM 7:00 PM The number of the cathedral is: 3356545 The Parish priest is Jhon Dalfer Salazar Gonzales
