A great value for money hotel in the centre of Pereira. Ask for a room facing the Church if San Jose and on high floors. There, you get the best views of Pereira. The rooms are spacious and nice. Way above an average 4-star hotel. The breakfast is nothing special. They need to correct this. But the architecture of the hotel with the open spaces and the rooms are really cool. The service is good and the cleanliness of the rooms and hotel is great. I would go back for sure

Classic atrium architecture. Classy areas for activities, food and entertainment. Rooms have been renovated with modern floors and furnishings. Bathrooms are nice and modern. The service is excellent. Cool city views and access to area amenities.

Had a wonderful experience overall, staff are fantastic, location is great, free parking, awesome pool, amazing views of the city. Although it wasn't the hotel's fault, one night a couple was at 3am was playing music so loud I could hear it clearly in my room, plus very loud sex. However it was for only about a hour, and then i was able to go back to sleep

Breakfast Eggs stations logistics could be highly improved, the coffee same. This place it’s nice and cool. Pool is also pretty good. Service can be more kindly and improve as well

Multiple issues with water temperature in rooms, i had 4 rooms, paid for at the same time over 4 weeks. One room the water went from super cold to super hot within seconds over and over, causing my body to go into shock. I was locked within my own room , elevator keys never work, my air conditioning didnt work for a day in my other room, the laundry service is great, except they never bring a bag or paper for follow-up laundry for an extended stay customer like myself. I requested a manager THREE different times, i was denied. . . the hotel also stole a candle, yankee candle from my room and no one ever offered any compensation or sympathy nor empathy. So , if you're American, just know they discriminate, and in particular the lobby female staff stare at you with daggers in their eyes of resentment. And if you try to speak to a manager, you get ignored and denied. At one point they were ignorant enough, with my TV at 25 volume setting to complain at 2pm about noise, however, at 4am i wake up to the sound of young children not just playing, but screeching at a high volume. That being said a couple of the bellhops and two of the lobby reception staff were very kind....but for such a high level hotel to not have manager in a worldwide tourist hotel not understand English, kind of proves they trying to fill a quota instead of providing HOSPITALITY , which is what this is supposed to be for customers, and the industry. Oh, and for the high prices they charge, you would think that the keys would work, but every other day, you must go to the reception and get the keys set again, is just an incredible inconvenience and very low tech. Its a shame because, they discriminate. . . and its very obvious and notable.

Worst sleep I’ve ever had. Located right next to a Fonda playing live music and Vallenato into the early morning. So loud, the windows don’t block any noise whatsoever. I’ve stayed in many international airport hotels and have never even heard the planes. However every bit of sound penetrated through the room. They really need sound proof windows. Staff were useless in helping as well. Really sad considering it’s meant to be the best (in pereira) and I’ve stayed at the rio negro movich and have had great experiences

I went on a vacation with my girlfriend and thoroughly enjoyed my time at Movich hotel. First the hospitality and general attention to our needs was instant literally right at the steps, and every employee was so nice and had answers for questions me and girlfriend had for them. The presentation of the hotel scenery and layout was nice and a big view of the city while going up to our room was amazing. Our room was simple and comfortable had all the essentials, the breakfast was amazing and the gym and pool were also nice to enjoy. I would say our time here was good comfortable but I what I will remember is the employees truly top notch professionalism in every aspect of that word.

A hotel with excellent service. Very good location and impeccable rooms and social areas. All their staff are super attentive and willing to help you at any time. The food in the restaurants is of excellent quality, and the bar at the Pereira headquarters is very entertaining. It has a wide variety of cocktails.

Wow - talk about great service and a super friendly staff. We loved our stay. We upgraded to the concierge level, and loved the extra little perks... along with the super comfortable bed. A terrific gem in the downtown area!

First class all the way! Always enjoy my stay here. Professional and courteous employees. Location is central to many restaurants and shopping. While I enjoy the hotel and many of the employees, getting a cup of coffee at breakfast is often a real challenge.

Good location however service sucks. Inefficient room service, slow staff just a few things would ruin your stay. The breakfast is really bad!! Better to go across street and get food from the corner store. Don’t be fooled by the fancy front desk, the employees are worthless and uncaring.

I had a wonderful time at Hotel Movich Pereira. The entire staff was very professional, pleasant and always willing to assist me in anything I needed. Best breakfast buffet I've ever seen and the food was so delicious. The pool is great. Nice amount of room to relax. Good gym. Good wifi. The entire hotel & rooms are very clean and nicely modeled/updated. Many of the staff can speak English. Best hotel i've ever stayed at. A big thanks to the staff and management for all their work.

Only had lunch, was denied entry to main room (empty) for wearing shorts on a 89f degree day. Was served In another part.. food was overpriced and very underwhelming. Waiter was fine .food was poor.

Everything about this hotel was awesome. The only reason I gave it a four is because I am a smoker. I took my "no smoke" ash cup and would sit close to the pool. I did this with no one saying anything, but earlier this evening a hotel employee kindly told me that this is a non smoking property. There are places on the property you can smoke though. Overall it's been a wonderful experience!

I needed to stay only one night in Pereira and Movich hotel was the highlight of the stay. We had an amazing view from the room! The beds were comfortable, the room was super clean, the staff was courteous and the breakfast was sumptuous! Loved it.

Our stay was pleasant, the room was spacious, clean and pleasant. The hotel had a mall attached to it that was convenient for eating, and shopping. It was also well located in the city. The staff was extremely helpful and always friendly. However the food for breakfast as well terrible. The restaurant inside the hotel also didn’t serve very good food and the service was not good. The one redeeming place was the Tipsy Bird Bar….. it was amazing….. the drinks, the appetizers, the atmosphere and the bartender were incredible….. talented mixologist!

The worst place to stay. Your stuff will just get stolen from the room and you will never be able to get it back. Don't ever stay here

Best Hotlel in town, gym, restaurante, food and service is really wonderfull. For work I have to travel a lot and I can tel l the difference for a good hotel for a business needs. I know some people who used it before travel to around the coffee region or parks. Is well equipped gym and also have a nice option for breakfast Great experience.

This hotel is terrible do not stay here if you are from Colombia or South America. The policy at the hotel discriminates against people of Latin decent, my girlfriend and I were suppose to stay at the hotel three nights however we only stayed two since both nights they questioned her about her stay at the hotel. They would not let us enter the elevator despite us both having hotel keys and saying that we were paying customers. I can say that their policy discriminates against Latinos since I am a Canadian and my girlfriend is Colombian. I paid attention to the way she was treated as opposed to myself and other guests. They will apologize but the same thing happens the apologizes are empty just do not stay here if you are of Latin decent. The policy of the Movich discriminates people and apologies do not change the way they treat people just stay away find somewhere else to vacation in Pereira.

If you are looking at the review of this hotel, then thank god you are saved, in this hotel only and only chance is found, when and how to steal your belongings. It has been a very bad experience and not only me and I also got to hear the complaint of blackmail with one of my friend in this hotel.
