Please trust me and do not stay here. This hotel doesn’t come close to a 5-star hotel, it borders between 2-3 stars at most. A few of the problems: - the rooms are small and uncomfortable. Extremely bare, not even a pen/paper which is the minimum a room should have. - VERY noisy rooms (from outside, as well as the thin walls so you hear everything in the hallway such as every time someone opens/closes their door. I could even hear people coughing/sneezing in the hallways and nearby rooms). We slept horribly at night and could not rest during the day because of this either. - the desk/chair is extremely uncomfortably to work at - Not only are there no amenities (gym, pool) but they lied to us before we arrived about this. We were told on the phone that there is a gym nearby that the hotel has a partnership with that we could use and was included, however when we arrived they denied all of this. The manager did nothing to compensate for the false information - the breakfast is extremely lacking. The fruit was good but otherwise they only have plain bland bread, cereal, and unappealing, cold eggs - our key stopped working 3 times and each time we had to go get a new one from reception - rude and unfriendly staff at reception as well as an unsympathetic and non-helpful manager. There are so many more hotels and air bnbs in the area and city that offer way more at a more competitive price. Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel.

I was pretty disappointed by my stay here, but in the end it served it's purpose of being a clean place to stay in a nice neighborhood close to friends. Before getting into the details be aware that this is a 3 star hotel. It is definitely not a 5 star establishment and I have no idea why they are listed on Google Maps as 5 stars. Checkin was frustrating: it took a while to find our reservation and then a while longer to get us checked in. Room: the standard rooms are really small but thankfully clean. Floors and finishings feel a bit dated and are pretty cheap. Walls could do with a bit of attention. Bathroom: was clean. AC: worked fine. Key cards: kept getting un-programmed. Breakfast was okay: the fruit was delicious but often ran out, fried eggs were good, but scrambled eggs and omlets were dry. The bread, cheeses and meats were not great. Staff: varied from friendly to unfriendly. Management: we called before booking to make sure there was a gym to work out at. Was incorrectly told they have a partnership with a local gym - this is not the case at all and had to pay out of pocket to gym. Management only offer to resolve this was to say we can cancel and go elsewhere.

Everything was excellent! Check-in was fast! The lady at the front desk was very professional and polite. Room was clean and very well set up. I ordered room service and food was delicious. I definitely recommend this Hotel. It’s definitely located in a safe area! Great location, you can find restaurants, stores at walking distance which is very convenient!! Awesome experience!

The hotel was great! Awesome location, staff was friendly and the onsite restaurant was amazing! Eduardo the manager was fantastic host! He' lived in Calgary so we bonded as my family are also Canadian, he took us out to a bar with his friends showed us some great places to hangout it was such a nice gesture. It made us feel at home in Columbia:) - would stay here again

We are extremely disappointed with the outcome of our stay at the Morrison hotel. At the moment of making the booking, we announced that we were celebrating our wedding the same evening and that we would be arriving quite late. Upon arrival, we were expecting a pretty straight forward check-in process but this took more time than expected as we were initially GIVEN THE KEY TO A ROOM THAT HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED AFTER THE LAST CUSTOMERS. The next morning, we were WOKEN UP BY HOUSEKEEPING WHO ENTERED THE ROOM WITHOUT KNOCKING. It seems this hotel has no control over which room is occupied or vacant. Furthermore, we missed breakfast due to the fact the clock in the room was not on time. We chose this hotel for the breakfast buffet but ended up with A VERY POOR BREAKFAST (1 fried egg and 4 pieces of bread). Our stay was supposed to be a special moment as we had just celebrated our wedding but it turned out to be A DISASTER FROM START TO FINISH.

It was excellent because of the clean room, clean bathroom with hot water that took only a minute to arrive when first turned on, comfortable beds, warm, helpful reception and restaurant staff, and superb location for our needs. a park along a fast running canal with nice walking paths runs along the edge of the hotel which fronts on avenida 19 with lots of taxis. The breakfast buffet is relatively simple but with fresh fruit, fresh fruit juice, toast, eggs, and a special (for me) consume. Teo, the hotel restaurant, was clean with attentive staff. We ate two dinners in the hotel. because of the holidays there seemed to be few people staying in the hotel and the restaurant was almost empty with few staff. BUT food was good and the drinks fine. I had a martini cocktail with both dinners. I was doubtful about the first time because the two wait staff did not know what a martini was. I watched them take out a book which I interpreted as learning how to make the martini. they made it and it was drinkable if not excellent. the second night a different staff produced a classic martini worthy of any establishment. What might Morrison improve? the cards used for the elevators and room, tended to lose there codes and I repeatedly over our stay had to have them changed. Not sure why, but it was not my cell phone damaging the cards. the hotel is within walking distance of many fine places to eat and drink: Shamu, a Wok and a crepes and wafles all a short distance away; a 24 hr small shop across the street, a 24 h pharmacy two blocks away, and UniCentro within an easy walk.

Very nice hotel and great value, I wouldn't say it was a 5 star but for the money very good.

Horrible experience, during the check in they charged me taxes which was illegal because I am not a Colombian resident, the didn’t give me a receipt (I guess they are keeping the money for themselves) the last evening before I check out the next morning they knocked at my door at 9:00 pm to ask me for more tax money because they forgot to charge one extra day . Since when you have to pay before you check out? they were harassing me for money that they shouldn’t be charging. At least that what the DIAN (tax authorities) told me. BECAREFUL With this hotel

Excellent choice for lunch and dinner given the greek food specialties offered by the restaurant ; ideal for mediterranean food lovers.

It's a bit far from the airport, but it's a nice location. There's a lot of restaurants nearby, and there's a good view of Monserrate when the weather cooperates. My Spanish is non-existent other than being able to count to ten. The front desk could speak English. I could mostly understand the restaurant staff and managed to get my point across with my limited language and pointing. I went on a work trip, with fluent coworkers, but I would be comfortable going back on my own.

Please don't stay there. Do not throw your money away. We paid for the penthouse and it was filthy dirty, the TV did not work. We reported the problems to the administration and they treated us as we were lying. We paid close to two million colombian pesos to stay there. Awful service. Awful place.
