Great experience

A great room on the last farm in town. They remodeled the building used by farm workers as a fantastic guest house. Best breakfast on my two week bike ride.

The Gartenzimmer is a beautiful, relaxing and peaceful play to to stay, whatever your plans. After a warm welcome from Barbara, we knew that we'd found the perfect place while we cycled the Danube bike path. The bedroom was spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with fresh breads, homemade jam and apple juice, and various other options. We highly recommend the Gartenzimmer and would definitely return if we are in the area again.

This place is amazing in every respect. Barbara is very friendly hostess and her lovely personality added a cherry on top of our one night stay in the guest house. The rooms are spotless. The entire guesthouse is graciously furnished, with taste and elegance. The house and the adjacent farmhouse are surrounded by well-kept lawns and a garden. There is a terrace in the garden which is great for having breakfast or for an evening chillout. There was a place to store our bicycles too. There is a spacious and well equipped kitchen in the house with a coffeemaker. As soon as we arrived, Barbara took care of us, gave us a tour of the house, and explained what the best restaurants in the vicinity are. The location is quiet, so do not expect too many places to eat within a walking distance. However, even before we could start to consider where to have a dinner, Barbara invited us to join a small village gathering with grilled fish and beer, which, serendipitously, they were having just that evening. Just goes to show how hospitable and friendly Barbara is. The entire experience was the best we had during our Donauradweg journey and I heartily recommend this place to anyone. :-)
