This
wasn’t
a
bad
experience,
it
just
wasn’t
good.
To
give
some
background,
my
Spanish
is
far
from
fluent.
The
girls
working
there
were
very
nice
and
despite
not
speaking
any
English—in
conjunction
with
my
very
broken
Spanish—we
were
still
able
to
communicate
properly.
This
was
appreciated.
Further
background:
I
have
had
eyelash
extensions
done
many
times,
in
different
locations,
in
different
countries.
Bottom
line,
I
know
what
I
want
and
what
a
good
lash
technician
should
do.
First
star
deduction:
After
I
had
explicitly
told
the
girl
the
exact
measurements
of
what
I
wanted
and
what
“dimension”,
she
already
had
the
preliminaries
done
and
had
my
lashes
and
eyes
taped
down,
my
eyes
were
CLOSED.
She
then
tried
to
sell
me
a
different,
more
expensive
service.
However,
she
didn’t
reveal
to
me
that
it
was
significantly
(30
euros)
more
expensive
until
I
directly
asked
her.
She
had
already
begun
preparations
to
start
glueing
down
these
new,
more
expensive
lashes.
Had
I
not
asked,
she
would
have
done
the
whole
thing
and
I
would
have
had
a
nasty
surprise
when
checking
out
at
the
cashier.
A
somewhat
underhanded
way
to
sell
products.
BE
UPFRONT
ABOUT
THE
PRICE
IF
YOU
ARE
TRYING
TO
SELL
IT
TO
ME,
especially
after
I
already
told
you
what
I
wanted.
Second
star
deduction:
This
girl’s
application
method
was
quite
rough
and
aggressive.
I
felt
like
my
whole
forehead
got
exfoliated
from
just
how
hard
she
was
pulling
on
my
skin
and
my
face.
Unfortunately,
my
Spanish
is
pretty
insufficient
so
what
could
I
say?
Her
hands
were
also
pretty
sweaty
and
she
was
breathing
directly
onto
my
face.
Not
the
most
comfortable
position
I’ve
ever
been
in.
Normally
during
lash
application,
it
is
so
relaxing
I
can
fall
asleep
and
take
a
nap.
I
was
painfully
aware
of
everything
happening
during
this
particular
session...
At
the
end
of
the
session,
she
showed
me
the
look
in
the
mirror.
At
that
point,
even
if
you
don’t
like
how
it
looks,
there’s
not
much
you
can
do.
So
you
just
say
“bien”
and
then
move
on.
It’s
not
like
they’re
gonna
remove
the
whole
thing
and
fix
it
again.
Bottom
line:
It
doesn’t
look
bad,
but
it
is
not
at
all
what
I
asked
for.
I
specifically
told
her
the
measurements
of
what
I
wanted
which
should
have
resulted
in
a
“cat-eye”
lash
look.
What
I
got
was
an
overall,
basically
the
same
length
look
with
some
shorter
lashes
she
added
at
the
end
which
literally
goes
exactly
against
what
I
asked
for.
So
again,
doesn’t
look
bad,
she
just
didn’t
follow
instructions.
Third
star
deduction:
I’m
not
a
newbie.
I
know
that
within
the
first
48
hours,
avoiding
water,
saunas,
anything
of
that
ilk
is
practically
tantamount
to
ensuring
the
longevity
of
your
lashes.
Within
the
first
THREE
HOURS
after
getting
my
lashes
in,
just
going
about
my
regular
day,
SIX
LASHES
already
fell
out!
Seriously?
Typically
after
fresh
application
there
should
be
absolutely
NO
fall
out.
And
the
following
week,
at
most
only
one
or
two
a
day.
But
six
within
the
first
few
hours
is
just
ridiculous.
Since
then,
more
have
fallen
out
and
it
hasn’t
even
reached
24
hours
yet.
I
take
extremely
good
care
of
my
lashes.
I’ve
had
lash
technicians
in
the
past
tell
me
so.
So
I
know
that
I
didn’t
personally
do
something
strange
to
cause
this
fallout.
Honestly,
I
don’t
expect
this
lash
installation
to
last
past
two
weeks
based
on
how
poorly
this
is
holding
up
so
far.
Typically,
a
full
set
will
last
me
at
least
a
month
and
a
half.
Finally,
there
was
a
clerical
error
in
their
company
app
that
gave
me
1000
points
for
downloading
the
app.
However,
a
couple
days
after,
they
mysteriously
disappeared.
When
I
asked
the
girls
there
about
it,
they
said
it
was
a
promotion
from
the
previous
month
and
that
the
app
corrected
itself.
Obviously,
this
is
not
their
fault,
but
I
feel
like
it
would
be
better
for
business
if
they
had
actual
deals
for
first
timers
visiting
the
store.
As
it
is,
not
only
did
I
not
get
a
deal,
I
was
not
satisfied
with
the
service.
I
visit
A
Coruña
quite
frequently.
It’s
not
as
if
I’m
only
stopping
through
once
and
then
not
returning.
But
I
definitely
will
not
be
returning
here.
