Kudos to Sunny. We were amazed by his knowledge and passion and what a dream he has created. A must see for anybody who loves music and history. The collections of Gramophones and discs are just unbelievable. Would suggest folks who want to visit to fix up a time with Sunny before reaching the place as what is put for display is his personal collection with care and not a commercial venture. A big thanks to sunny for accommodating us at the last minute.

Sunnyโ€™s Gramophone Museum๐Ÿฏ and Records Archive, a remarkable collection of vintage records housed in a double-storeyed, air-conditioned building with an atrium. It was opened on January 25,2015. It is a treasure trove with more than a โœŒlakh gramophone discs, of which around 75% are 78 rpm shellac records, cylinder records and wire records; there are also more than 260 gramophones. If you have a passion for knowledge in music and history, this is the right place for you๐Ÿ™Œ...

It's an adventurous, beautiful place. If you're somewhere near chengannur and need a place to relax, climb up. Don't recommend it as a complete tour destination, it's a place u can stop by mid-journey

It's a nice short walk from Chengannur town to Noottavan Para view point, the view point has a wonderful view on the town and the neighboring village... Nice time to visit is for sunrise and sunset. We need to be a bit careful during the monsoon season, as the rock gets wet, and there are no guide rails for safety.

You need no Filters to Capture the Beauty of Nature โค๏ธ Its been a long time staying away from Treks, so we decided to touch some unexplored place around us. A small trail which took us to the Pit Stop which gifted us the beautiful Drone view of Chengannur. People who loves Quite and Isolated places away from the hush and gush of Cities should definately visit the place. The best time to reach this place would be around 5 pm so you can get the scenic beauty of the view and the Sunset. To reach Noottavan Para View Point, Nearest Station is Chengannur which is 2.6 km.

Gramophone Museum There is a rare type of museum even rare around the world which has a huge collection of gramophones. The place is located in ambara in kottayam district kerala. You can enjoy the journey of music from here. from the first generation music equipments, peoples turned in to the black discs very fast. From that age collection gramophones are displayed here. All of them are still on working condition. the museum is a private collection by mr sunny. so it's called sunny's gramophone museum.sunny will explain all about his experiences with out any benefits taking from us. Only sundays are the museum will open for public.

Discs and machines is a unique example of private museum of gramophone records and machines in Kerala near Kottayam in India. This statue is in the courtyard of the museum. Sculptor and owner of the museum Mr. Sunny Mathew made it several years ago - visualizing a nymph meeting traditional Kerala woman on the rock near a pond. Both dressed in white, are exchanging moments of sorrow and happiness of their lives

Certainly suggested for the adventurous and spirited at heart. Not recommended for frail people and during rains. Involves climbing rock face on all fours. The view is totally unexpected and worth the effort. Parking space is for 4 wheelers is limited. Approach road is narrow. Excellent option for bikers.
