This is only one of the Towns Attractions. In general if you enjoy Water Rafting, Hot Springs, Escaping Modern World and Enjoying Simple Life Përmet is a Must Visit. Hotel Aroma is my Favorite. ( Not a 5 star Hotel but a Very Nice Clean Hotel ).

The Stone of the City is located in the city of Përmet, 250 m above sea level. The City Stone is considered the symbol of the city's identity. It has scientific (geological, geomorphological), didactic, ecological and cultural values.

If you are visiting Permet, you have to climb the Stone of the city. The best time would be during the night so you can enjoy the beautiful promenade of the city under the night lights.

City Rock. Great view of the city, river and surrounding mountains. Also has an interesting history - check out the information board at the base of the rock. I'm intrigued as to how it ended up here and not get eroded or washed away! The stairs up are steep.

Easy climb. Great views of the town and Vjosa river. On the downside, the markings and path to get to the staircase where not that helpful.

A great place to see the city and learn a bit about its history. You shouldn't miss it if you're visiting the city :)

The view from the stone is wonderful. You can see Vjosa River and the old bridge. By the night the stone is decorated with lights. The City Stone of Permet is a free, local attraction with amazing panoramic views of the city. It's an impossible-to-miss landmark, and informational signs guide visitors to the stairs that lead up to the top of the City Stone. Its high vantage point is perfect for looking out over the entire town, including the Vjosa River and the surrounding mountains. Definitely a must-visit spot when visiting Permet!

The place has a lot of trash lying around but pretty cool to climb up.

You can have the best view of the city from there. From my opinion the city was better before than now but still the view and the calm during night is amazing

A big rock in the middle of the town offers a beautiful sight overlooking the town of Permet from above and a part of the River of Vjosa - the Last Wild River in Europe and a protected one
