    Loving my first week with Extension Fitness. Did group classes Monday and Friday and the running club on Wednesday. Really enjoyed all classes and so thrilled to run a lap around Lake Monger. Tim is excellent. The sessions are well thought out and can be adapted to all levels. Tim gives options depending upon where you are at fitness and ability wise. Can highly recommend Extension Fitness!

    I love the group fitness classes that Tim runs. They're a good mix of cardio and strength and every week he mixes it up. Lots of fun and a great workout. I've also had a 1-on-1 class with Tim to improve my running technique, which helped tremendously! Tim has really thought about form and structured our session really effectively. Good support and follow up as well. Highly recommend!

    Extension Fitness is brilliant! Tim is a very gifted instructor. He has heaps of experience and training in the science of exercise and fitness—he knows what he's talking about. But he's also a brilliant teacher—patient, clear, knows when to push you and when to ease off. I go with my son each week and we both look forward to it every time. It's one of the highlights of our week. Recommended!

    After finding Tim online we caught up for a coffee and chat about my goals starting out on my fitness journey. He was very helpful in providing advice going forward with the custom program I requested. We settled on 2 initial PT sessions and the programs schedule. Tim is very patient and attentive to my movements during PT sessions providing solid advice and techniques to move within my abilities. He made sure we covered off every movement in my custom program and that I was comfortable and had no pain or discomfort. He was quick to suggest other movements if I had trouble with anything and provided substitute exercises. After a quick video/photo tour of my gym on-site Tim has been ale to make a custom program that accommodates limited equipment and higher work load whilst I am away at work, and being back in Perth with a larger range of equipment and the ability to push myself further. After a recent injury, Tim had further modified my program to work in with my physio's recommendations. Now on the other the side of this injury we are rebuilding that lost strength. I recommend Tim, highly approachable, genuinely friendly and understanding. Not pushy in any way and really sets you up to be independent in your journey if that is what you want.

    After a long, long break from any serious exercise, and as a fifty-something with plenty of wear-and-tear, I was looking for a trainer whose expertise I could unquestionably trust, and who made me feel supported and motivated.  Tim has fit that bill perfectly and I have thoroughly enjoyed his pragmatism, enthusiasm and kindness.   He knows what he is doing and takes the time to explain technique without being too rigid.  His workouts challenge me just enough – I’ve been pushed hard, but not so far that I’m broken the next day, or dread doing a session on my own.  I enjoy the structure and style of Tim’s approach and feel I am in excellent hands on my quest to get strong again.

    Excellent trainer, no guilt or nonsense just great exercise sessions. Tim’s supportive and graded sessions have meant I’ve stuck at this exercise routine for longer than any previous attempts. Am seeing good results after 9 months of 1x week and now 3 months of 2-3x week. Highly recommended

    Have been working with Tim for a few months now and it has been fantastic. Working towards running distance again and his knowledge and approach has been extremely useful. Knows the body’s mechanics extremely well and his workouts reflect that!

    Tim is an excellent coach and trainer whom I have benefited from. Unlike many other personal trainers, Tim has a physiotherapy background so he understands rehab and how to avoid injuries. Go see Tim and be blessed, not stressed!

    Really enjoyed my running assessment with Tim today. Looked at some video of my technique then analysed it and clearly communicated aspects I do well as well as areas of improvement. Tim took time to explain the reasoning behind each aspect of technique and provided me with simple exercises I can do to improve. Great set up and a wonderful teacher. Great experience all round, highly recommend!

    Tim runs fantastic fitness sessions and has delivered a brilliant pre season program for our hockey club. Pushing without breaking is spot on as he carefully plans the activities to improve your fitness while making sure you don’t go too far. He is able to cater for large groups offering plenty of variety and his friendly nature makes it a welcoming environment. Whether working towards specific exercise goals or aiming to improve your running ability, extension fitness is an excellent place to enjoy your movement!

    Great experience with the running assessment - really helpful to watch video footage of my running and for Tim to do a technical breakdown of my running form, explaining clearly what I was doing well, how I could improve and the rationale behind it. He also taught me drills and exercises I can do to help with strength and technique. With some practice I definitely feel more comfortable running, which has allowed me to up my km’s, and I’m starting to get faster too. Tim is a friendly, professional and knowledgeable coach, and I’d recommend this assessment to anyone who runs.

    Tim's coaching is so very beneficial for my daughter. She was worried about the weightlifting sessions before she started but from the very first session has been always so happy to attend. She finds Tim's approach encouraging, fun, helpful, calm and friendly. I cannot be more positive about Tim's approach and the results being achieved these last 3 months or so.

    Thank you, Extension Fitness! I have been working with Tim for the last 6 months and I cannot recommend them enough. I thought I would need to give up sport due to knee and hip issues, Extension Fitness has tailored and modified a specific program to build my strength and fitness and now I am play pain free again!!! Tim is calm, professional, encouraging, knowledgeable and capable of pushing you to reach your goals. Thank you

    Tim is exactly what you want in a trainer. A high degree of knowledge in fitness/exercise and as a former physiotherapist, the access to space and equipment for effective training and then of course - just being a great all round bloke! Thoroughly recommend him for getting in shape, improving on your strength/power and for running training.

    Though I was an active 64 year old, I knew the importance of regular structured exercise. What I didn't know was how to do it effectively and efficiently or what was most suitable for my age and physical condition. Also, while I had used gym equipment at different times previously, I didn't really know how to use it properly. Tim was able to coach me through a three month program that introduced me to a wide range of exercises using many different types of equipment. He also provided me with a menu of groups of exercises that I was able to use to create my own activity sets that would include the necessary movement patterns for resistance training. Importantly, Tim and I spoke at length before and during the program so we both understood what I wanted to achieve. Tim also gave me plenty of support and information outside of the scheduled sessions. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Tim (except when I was pushing the sled) and would recommend him to anyone looking for a program that's meets their specific personal requirements.

    The pre season agility and running session you have set for the hockey club have been amazing. I feel like my fitness is improving but the workouts aren't too hard that I can't get out of bed the next day. Couldn't recommend your services more!

    For the last year, I’ve been doing either personal training or customised exercise programs with Tim at Extension Fitness. The training has really helped me to develop strength and fitness. Tim provides good explanations of how to do all the exercises and why. He creates the workouts to suit my goals and personality. Tim is very responsive with any questions and generous with his time, skills & experience. I have felt challenged but not pushed excessively hard by the sessions. One of the things I really appreciate about Tim’s training style is that everyone is accepted where they are at without comparison to anyone else. I am definitely not a sporty type person, but I have always been made to feel that there is a place for me (& everyone) in the gym regardless of your age/gender/sportiness/strength/goals. Tim is a positive, encouraging coach that I would recommend to anyone. Give it a go!

    Hey Everyone, are you looking for a PT? I highly recommend Tim from Extension Fitness as a personal trainer. I have been training with Tim for 6 challenging months and have seen amazing results. He is incredibly knowledgeable, motivating, and supportive throughout the entire fitness journey. Tim made me a custom workout program to suit my day to day routine and has helped me reach my goals and push beyond what I thought was possible. He has has gone above and beyond by also providing valuable nutritional guidance to enhance overall fitness and well-being along with introducing me to apps that ensure accountability on my end (which was a game changer) so he could keep up to date with my fitness even while I was away working. The sessions are always challenging but enjoyable, and he makes sure to keep things fun and varied. If you're looking for a dedicated and professional personal trainer, Tim at extension fitness is the best choice!

    I Love working with Tim, he runs great sessions for our Hockey club in North Perth. He is extremely approachable and easy to work with, giving great feedback to different techniques with short distance sprints but also long distance running also. He has helped me improve with my running and getting better at the things I need to work on and I love how easy it is to talk to him about the things I need to improve on to help out my running. Highly recommend

    Firstly I do not like gyms- so if you can relate to that, then - I recommend Tim at Extension Fitness. As someone who has physical restrictions / disability, after having a stroke. I have struggled with gym environments, finding most of them somewhat intimidating and uncomfortable. Having to maintain muscle and strength to keep my independence, fitness has never really been optional for me. It’s necessary. Tim creates a safe and supportive environment where you never feel out of place or insecure. This includes the gym where Tim is based, you are among, like minded, kind people. Tim’s background in physiotherapy, adds another layer of knowledge, that enhances the PT programs Tim provides. It’s been an amazing journey. I have a personalized training program, adjusted to accommodate my physical restrictions. A program that is sustainable and realistic. A program, where I’m actually seeing results. With Additional bonuses like humour, patience and the ability to work with NDIS participants. It’s a level of service that’s hard to beat. I can not fault my experience with Extension Fitness.     I cannot recommend Tim at Extension Fitness enough. I was nervous before my first session as having MS and foot drop I wasn’t sure what to expect or if anything could be done to help my running. Tim made me feel welcome from the start, helped me with my running technique and gave me a plan with particular exercises to improve my form. It has only been around 8 weeks but I can already feel the difference in my running form and efficiency. Thank you Tim!!

    Tim has been fantastic in helping me get my health and fitness back on track! He's personalised a program for that caters for the limitations of my worn-out body and continues to refine the plan based on our ongoing discussions and how my body has reacted. It's great being trained by someone with so much experience and a high level of intellectual and emotional intelligence. He makes our PT sessions both challenging and enjoyable.
