Salter Point Lagoon

Nature preserve

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Beautiful environment, other than the lagoon and the wetland plants, there were wildflowers and birds. The lagoon was connected to the beautiful Swan River. Enjoy! (2023-08)

Very beautiful and natural place to relax. Hoping it stay as a less populated sight as it is very blissful to come here and have the place to yourself πŸ˜‰ good efforts to maintain the nature, hope it stay so nice

There are not many natural beauty spots around the beaches and Perth's rivers that I have not visited, especially not one as tranquil and serene as Salter Point Lagoon. It really did make our day wandering down the lookout track and just taking in the sounds and the view. Well worth a visit.

Very interesting place. Never been there before. But on a perfect day (24 degree celcius) happened to take a walk to the lagoon. It is secluded yet within a residential area. Nice place. Shame we didn't carry any picnic gear. Good spot to sit and look the the boats passing by and the people having fun across the river on Shelly water front too.

It was an excellent experience walking on Salter Point Parade from Sandon Park towards the Lagoon. The Lagoon itself came into our sight first before we walked along the sandy strip between the lagoon and the river. The end of the strip offered amazing views of the river, Lagoon, Shelley Foreshore, Shelley Beach Park and the mansions along Riverton Dr W.

I jog here every day around sunset, and the view is always spectacular. Even on cloudy days, which happen to be my favorite, the serene water and lush greenery create their own unique beauty. On sunny days with a clear sky, each evening paints different layers and palettes, never repeating itself. I recently captured photos of a striking and blazing sky, yet today's sky boasts a delightful cotton candy pink hue, although I didn't have my camera this time. Apart from the vibrant colors along the riverside, the area is brimming with lifeβ€”people walking their dogs and some sailing or boating. Everything feels harmoniously balanced; it's a spot I'd love to keep to myself, but its charm is irresistible. Come and enjoy!

This is such a beautiful spot! Super easy walking track (suitable for my 2-year-old) and a really lovely way to get closer to nature.
