Many years ago, the atmosphere and great food, venue manager and team were why this place was a success. Unfortunately it’s lost a lot of that charm - let me explain. It used to be dark, mood lighting and now it’s super bright and clinical, previously the staff looked super interested in being there and were having fun with each other and the patrons. Now it seems more like a standard bar - order and go, no conversation. I remember the days of onsen eggs over mint peas with delectable decoration and beautiful wines, now the food is okay but it’s lost it’s edge - a standard tapas bar with a 50/50 hit rate on taste. It’s not a bad place, but previously you paid a premium for the atmosphere and great food and wine. Now it’s a premium venue without the attractiveness of these things.

One of the best tapas bar in Perth! Loved the liver parfait, scallops, sangria and the house cocktails. The service was exceptional, shout out to Harley and Sebastian who looked after us tonight!

This is a cute, chilled bar with a great vibe, excellent cocktails, great food and friendly staff. We had a date night here and it was such a fun experience. I would recommend the pate, chorizo and beef steak… the cheese platter was generous and the small but excellent range of wines reasonably priced! Cannot wait to come back!

Another gem we stumbled across in the CBD! Delicious tapas, friendly professional service and ambience. We ordered the prawns, patatas bravas, empadanas and few others. All delicious. A little pricey but worth it! Highly recommend!

Excellent bathrooms, very well kept and lovely tiling details. The toilet was very comfortable and the toilet paper was excellent quality. Hands down one of the best restrooms in a bar to visit in Perth. The drinks were also exquisite, aperitif was well served with a generous slice of fruit as well. Impeccable and friendly service!

Absolutely delightful! I spent a month in Barcelona recently and have been missing the Mediterranean food. Great variety of unique peppers and some nice, authentic choices. The atmosphere is close, dim, and bohemian.

Cozy place that would be great with a date. We went as a group. Staff were polite attentive and professional. House Lager was on point 👌

Took a chance on walking in as my partner and I hadn’t booked and thankfully, we got a table. It’s been at least 6-7 years since we were here and I’m delighted to see that the whole experience is as good as ever. Food was delicious, cocktails delicious, and service was great. Love the setting as well, hidden away with different spaces within.

Really really tasty food and a wonderful underground location with little nooks lit up by candlelight. We ordered the chorizo, patatas bravas, and the ensalada de primavera. The cocktails were also super delicious. Definitely a place to revisit!

Hidden Gem! Great atmosphere, in fact you wouldn’t think you are in the Perth CBD, the relaxed ambience is addictive and you would want to spend the whole night there. Food is excellent as are the cocktails. Highly recommend, booking essential!

Hard not to love this little place. Forgot to take a photo of the food until it was mostly eaten. Only small thing is they told us it was filling up so we had to sit near the bar. It was still half empty when we left. If people don’t show the booking should be filled by people who are there. After perhaps 10 minutes.

Very nice food here. Fresh tap beer. The only thing i can see to improve is the prawn. It should be freshly peeled before serve. The prepeel before serve will make it absorb the smell from fridge. Overall Recommend .

I enjoyed the overall experience. Cozy spot, not too crowded, opens til late. Food wise, it was good. Although the Empanadilla was quite bland and the eggplant was a tad oily. Rose sangria was delicious, and I would come back if they have a menu update.

A week ago, we enjoyed a delightful dinner here with friends. The food was exquisite, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere vibrant. The vegetarian dishes were incredibly delicious, and my gin elderflower cocktails were exceptional! The staff were entertaining, engaging, and extremely attentive, ensuring a memorable experience.

Great Food, Excellent Service and amazing atmosphere. I have been there a few times now, and I love how the chef keeps changing the menu so that there is something new to try. Our host was Carla, who was attentive, knew the dishes well and was able to recommend some great drinks (ones that I would not have normally tried). Would highly recommend.

The flavours and textures of the food was insane- it was a taste bud overload of epic proportions. The presentation of the food was also stunning and presented with passion on the plate . I actually could not fault the food we tried and I’m had some very average food at other restaurants. I so look forward to a return visit. Team keep up the exceptional work.

A delightful experience. Not having been before, when we entered it was like - yes this is nice. The bar attendant smiled at us the decor was welcoming and we were greeted by Liz who found us a cosy nook. Liz then guided us through the menu and provided knowledgible advice on drinks 🍸 The tapas were fresh and tasty. The service was non invasive but attentive and we never felt forgotten or rushed.

Found this place by just walking thru Perth. Not a lot of signage, but well worth the find. Decent list of drinks - recommend the house specials. Food is done well - you end up ordering dishes just because they look amazing as they come out of the kitchen. You will not be disappointed.

The food is always amazing, try anything the waitress suggests, its all great. The gingerbread cocktails, yes not even limited to December but all year round, are to die for. The fire going in winter, lovely and cozy on the couches. Cannot fault the food or the service. always 10/10

Super comfy chairs, reasonable portion sizes friendly and prompt service. It's cosy but didn't feel packed. You absolutely need to get the potatoes 10/10 best potato ever. We tried a couple cocktails and a mocktail, all very tasty. Definitely worth a visit.

The service was great and nice atmosphere, can't say the same for the food. Having just returned from Spain and expecting something nice we were disappointed. Every dish we ordered was extremely salty. There is salty and there is a little bit of taste and a whole lot of salt. Never returning!

Such a lovely place with interesting decor and furniture. All the dishes we had were fantastic and the with added Spanish wine was a great addition.

Reminded again of why we keep coming back. Staff were knowledgeable about the food and were attentive. The food was just the right mix of flavours from the croquettes to the tiger prawns to the pate, brought at regular intervals to reward the senses. The ambiance was just right for our celebratory meal and the cost was not eye watering. We look forward to our next visit.

Fantastic little gem of a tapas place tucked away on a side street in the Perth CBD. Good selection of Spanish wines, the lamb shoulder empanadillas were super tasty with the minty mojo verde. Flan silky smooth, came with oloroso caramel and toasted hazelnuts - rich and just the right bitterness and crunch.

Good vibe and good food. Service was quick and attentive. Its tried and tested and a favourite to many. Nothing stood out as a "must have" it was just overall enjoyable. If you have not been, definitely worth the visit.

Tapas and cocktails, easy to order menu with great selection of items. Everything was very freash and flavorful. They hold some tables for walk-ins if your unable to find any to reserve.

Really good food! We had the croquetes, deep fried fish, the pork and empadillas (?) they were all so so tasty! They were short staffed and the lady serving us and the guy at the bar were wonderful. They were doing so much under pressure, but not once they let that show. They were honest about it, but still super friendly, efficient and deserve recognition! The place has a nice vibe and great cocktails. Didn’t get to take many or good pictures… was too busy eating 😃

Seriously?! What’s not to love about this place?!?! One of the QT staff recommended Andaluz. It was closed Sunday and Monday and we were leaving Perth Wednesday so we rejigged our restaurants and dined here Tuesday night. Lucky us!!!!! Evwn braving the short winter walk in the rain, the food is divine!!! The steak was perfect but the brussels sprouts were the hero!! WA knows how to do food and we are so glad we went to Andaluz!

Great night spot for Tapas, real intimate spot hidden down a laneway in Perth

Came for the tapas set menu, $55, and it was excellent. First time at Andaluz bar which is located down an alley on Howard Street. In a cosy, intimate setting, snug on large leather sofas, we indulged in plate after plate of excellent food. Finishing with some of the best churros I have tasted outside of Madrid. Estupendo!

Came here on a busy Saturday night the service was impressive the food was even better. Highly recommend and the lamb samosa style dish was divine!! With beverages flowing and plenty of food only came to $50 a head.

Great food and drinks

Just hire more staff. Watching (lovely) wait staff literally run across the room because they are so run off their feet is atrocious. We couldn’t order more drinks and food because we could never catch their attention. Not their fault of course. What a way to lose money and return customers.

We love this Tapas bar. This is the second time we’ve been here and it has been great both times. The atmosphere is always great and the food and drink even better. I would highly recommend the lamb pastries pictured. The total for our bill came to $304.00 for four people including two bottles or wine and two beers, with enough food to completely stuff us. This is a great venue for couples and small groups, we would have come here for a second night in a row before we left perth if it was open on a Sunday.

It would have been nice to check this place out. From pictures and reviews looks nice... However, we got the reservation cancelled as they do not accept kids??? This is the first time in Perth something like this happen to us, quite disappointing.

Great atmosphere for that restaurant; you can hardly see it from the street. The staff are nice; the food was tasty, and the drinks (sangria and white rioja) were good too. Nothing is cheap though

Friday night vibe, swank, style and what was super impressive was how quickly the food came out and how great the service was. The managers seem to have this place sorted, a plethora of staff on the floor and the bar but what is more impressive is the how this place is decorated! Andaluz has various sitting areas, lounges, high bars and sitting tables. We had, and I recommend, the empanada’s, aroncicina balls, calamari and for desert we had the only two on the menu. Highly recommend and will return!!
