We hardly could find authentic Singaporean Asian food in Perth and this is by far the best we have tried. We ordered more dishes for family of 6 to share and even our seniors were impressed by the flavour and quality. Thank you Anthony and Christina for the hospitality. Highly recommended. Do give the restaurant a call if they can do any speciality for you. This is the amazing part what they can cook and customise to your needs.

Christina was such a gracious hostess with her and Anthony's restaurant with many wonderful cuisines on offer being Singaporean. What a hidden gem! A restaurant located in the Great Southern Hotel at Northbridge at William St. The atmosphere of the restaurant is clean, quiet and cosy. The customer service is awesome as all staff are very friendly. We ordered the Singapore style fried Kuay Teow and Japanese Teriyaki Salmon Bento set. The salmon is of very high sashimi quality, cooked to the perfect taste and value for money. The fried Kuay Teow is average as it could have been more smoky and savoury. Will definitely be back to try on other foods.

I took my family here and the food is delicious, didn't even know this little hidden restaurant was in Northbridge until a friend recommended us. The cocktails and beer were great and the vibe was friendly.

A varied menu of Asian styles, with super fresh food and wonderful service. The beef in the teriyaki udon soup was so tender, it melted in the mouth, the tempura prawns, reverse avacado sushi and potato cakes were all extremely good. Our lovely host even suggested we buy the cheaper house wine as it was better and it was very good. Highly recommended restaurant in an area where choice is abundant.

I’ve paid double the price for half the quality trying to find the best sushi…. Not here. You get double the quality for half the price. The only reason this hotel is is rated 5 star is because of this restaurant! The quality of food is second to none! Food aside, now we got to talk about the service! It was like you were at your grandmas home with grandmas service! The people are so sweet and lovely! I guarantee you will never eat sushi anywhere else!!!

Fantastic and Authentic Chinese Food. If you think about the best Chinese you’ve had this is on another level. Situated on the ground floor of the Great Southern Hotel just off William St on Fitzgerald St it’s easy to dismiss and I very nearly did. Let’s face it, you could spend a week exploring food on the North end of William St and hey, a hotel restaurant, a small one at that, however, it is a delight, a menu with plenty of choices and an enthusiastic staff that execute it perfectly. If you stay at The Geat Southern don’t even think about going outside for food, if your in the area it’s an easy and rewarding choice.

A cozy restaurant with friendly service. Took the time to explain to my kids about the toppings on the tasty Takoyaki. We had the soft shell crab,katsu & karagae bento. Thumbs up! Horrible, horrible customer service. We booked a table as some of the reviewers mentioned they serve 3-course menus and we were expecting a more fancy vibe from the advertisement. Got there, the vibes were completely off as if it was a very empty food court (understandable because watch what happened next). Menu gave off that cheap food court with international cuisine. Why would I want a special celebration dinner in a mall food court? So what would one do in this situation - order food regardless knowing you would be disappointed or walk out? We opted for the latter. AND THE OWNER HAD THE AUDACITY TO STOP ME AND QUESTIONED ME IN A DEGRADING WAY WHY WE WALKED OUT. She even asked sarcastically if we spoke English. After learning that our mum doesn’t speak English, the lady preceded to speak Chinese to her. WE DONT EVEN SPEAK CHINESE. Was going to come back on another occasion but guess not anymore. Will be telling all my friends and family to steer clear from this pathetic place.

The owners were very friendly and accommodating. They spent time with us to give good recommendations. Every dish was cooked well and tasted very good. Noodle dishes had especially good wok flavour. Fried items were very crunchy. Hokkaido cheesecakes were great. Sesame seed icecream was exceptional. Service was also very quick.

Yaay Japanese food. So nice. The service was friendly, food fresh and tasty. She even told us the best way to eat the wasabi! Very clean and reasonably priced. Great Bao buns.

The first thing that I noticed (over the phone prior to booking) was how lovely the owner was. She could not have been more helpful and lovely. Upon arrival, we were greeting by her. She was kind and very welcoming! She recommended some dishes which we ordered........they were amazing. Excellent service and incredibly kind staff! Booked a group reservation with restaurant 1903 for a girls night out recently, it was my first time dining there and I couldn’t have been more impressed. The reservation increased several times leading up to the date and on the day increased again to a total of 26 attending. The staff were great with communication, they asked many helpful questions and really went the extra mile to accommodate us all. Everyone that attended had a fantastic time, the food was amazing and I have never felt more welcomed at a restaurant before. I will definitely be coming back! Thank you to all the wonderful staff for their amazing service and lovely personalities.

Beautiful restaurant, the most kind staff and some of the most delicious food I've had in Perth. Killer combination, and it's quiet enough that you can hear eachother. Offering 3 different regional cuisines makes for a good reason to make return trips, and I'm excited to return.

What a wonderful lunch we enjoyed here. We’ll definitely be going back! The Japanese dishes two of us shared were absolutely delicious…AND very reasonably priced. Between us we had agedashi tofu, karaage chicken and a mixed sushi/sashimi plate, paired beautifully with a cold Sapporo beer on tap. We finished off with a piece of authentic Japanese cheesecake, made in Hokkaido and imported in. Creamy and SO delicious!! Along with a bowl of matcha ice cream (one of my favourite flavours), our two dessert choices provided a very refreshing and satisfying finish to our meal. Coupled with very friendly service to our table and a clean, fresh, open seating area, we were most impressed with our overall experience there - no negatives at all. You need to try this place!! (But don’t eat all the cheesecake before we get there again.)

Wow. What a gem. Christina and her staff made our visit truly memorable. The food was superb - a choice of Japanese, Chinese and Western quisines that won't drain the budget. We opted for Japanese having spent time in Japan, and the food was fresh and seasoned perfectly. I am hardtpressed to remember a better meal. The service was quick and Christina's wine recommendations ideal. Free parking in a secure car park was included. This is a must try and we plan to return for a repeat performance in the near future. If the owners/chef should be ashamed. Can’t tell the difference between sashimi and nigiri. Curry was awful and they only put like 3 teaspoons of it on the rice. And how do you put canned tuna in a roll and call it a spicy tuna roll?? If I could give 0 stars I would. Lived in Japan for a while and had nothing but the best food. If you are looking for Japanese food (labeled Japanese on Uber Eats), do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Ordered the chicken bao and mongolian beef and it was sooo good! The most amazing food that has really good value for money. The people who worked there were so so lovely and welcoming, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very relaxed. Will definitely be coming back here.

I definitely recommend the restaurant 1903. I stayed at the Great Southern Hotel in Northbridge 3 years ago, the Restaurant 1903 is attached. I loved the food so much that every time I visit Perth I make it a priority that I have a meal at 1903. My favourite dishes are the Yakitori Chicken Sticks and the Agedashi Tofu.

I ordered pizza here the taste was soo poor infact i bake better pizza then here. beside food i like the atmosphere and service. staff was polite but at the end of the thing matter is food that was poor.

We had a lovely meal here, my 9 year old daughter asked "can we eat here every day?" which is is a good indication of the quality of the food. The staff were polite, attentive and helpful - we will definitely be back.

The restaurant is part of a hotel and is tucked away on a quiet street a couple of blocks back from the busier part of northbridge. We went for an early dinner, and had a Scoopon voucher, for a 3 course meal. We started off with yakitori, followed by udon and the donburi, both with prawn tempura, followed by the cheesecake and goma ice cream - suggested by the owner- which was great. All in all, great service and good food- thank you, we will be back.

i came in for lunch several of the days i was staying in perth. the staff is extremely friendly, giving good suggestions of places to see, and the food was delicious each time. it is also very convenient to get food before leaving the room, or returning to the room. highly recommended

Such a big price of 70 dollars for 1 container each of satay chicken and beef with rice. When you could get the same thing from somewhere else for 5 dollars biggest rip off complete and utter scam, her icecream is a scoop from Coles come on this pathetic people.

Amazing food and great service

Very accommodating. My toddler and I had a dine in lunch here using a Groupon voucher. The owner was very considerate of my son. For example, allowed me to choose a different meal (instead of curry), and offered to change the glass and straw over because it was too tall for him to drink from. He had a terrific time.

One of the few places in perth that serves quality cuisine and the service was extremely genuine. While pricing was slightly higher than those looking for the cheapest meal possible i would highly recommend this destination to anyone looking for a nicer meal & absolutely perfect as a first date. my girlfriend and i tried many different smaller entrees and while we spent $56 between us we were both extremely full and it was great being able to share different meals and discuss opinions on each entree. The owner of this place is an extremely friendly individual who works the front counter. by paying this place a visit you will supporting local business so there’s an upside aswell!

I have stayed at the Great Southern Hotel a lot lately for training. Every time I stay I look forward to eating the yummy food from Restaurant 1903. Not only is the food fantastic, the staff and service is outstanding. Wish I lived in Perth so I could come here more often.
