I used to live in WA. I miss living on this side of Australia but luckily I still have ties and I must go there for meeting with the marketing agency for my online store. This place is worth the visit. It is the only place in the world that lets people actually ring the bell. My kids used to love going their.

The towering glass spire of The Bell Tower located where Perth meets the Swan River in vibrant Barrack Square, is a touchstone for Australian and international tourists. The Bell Tower is one of the largest musical instruments on earth and was custom built to house the historically significant bells of Saint Martin-in-the-Fields Church, the parish church of Buckingham Palace in Trafalgar Square, London. These royal bells date back to before the 14th century! One of Western Australia's most unique and visited attractions, The Bell Tower offers tourists fascinating displays on these famous bells and the ancient art of bell ringing, as well as stunning views of the Swan River from the sixth floor open air observation deck. The Bell Tower is the only place in the world where you can view bell ringing in action or where you can even have a go at bell ringing yourself in one of their interactive Bell Tower Chiming Experience tours. In addition to the royal bells, the Bell Tower is also home to the 6,500kg Anzac Bell. Watch the Bell ring at midday for 1 minute. Located at Barrack Square; just a short five minute stroll from the City of Perth.

Take the tour. You will get to ring the bells, some of which are very old, saved from beingmelted down. An entertaining hour. Great views. Welcoming and friendly staff. Worth a visit.

Great place and excellent experience, you get a certificate to say you are an experienced bell chimer. Recommend buying tickets online so you don’t need to wait too long and you can go for the extra commemorative coins to get a free engraving at the Perth Mint.

A nice place to visit to learn a bit more about history of Perth and the Swan Bells. Quite fascinating to learn how the bell tower works. The tower is not that tall hence do not expect a bird's eye view of Perth when you go up to the top. Still a good place to be added into your itinerary when you visit Perth City. Entrance fees required.

We went in time for the 12pm bell ring. Nothing much happened, there are 6level only. Highest level was viewing, 5 level was viewing of the big bell and 4 level was watching the big bell ring and information on the bells. Other than that nothing else exciting there.

Great and must experience of Perth's iconic Bell Tower!! The general entry is only 10 dollars which gives access to all floors including the breathtaking viewing deck!! And for just 18 dollars you could also do the Bell ringing experience, general admission fee included in that!! Get to learn the interesting history of the Bell ringing craft! Get to also practice hands on Bell ringing and even get a fancy certificate at the end of it!! I totally loved this one of its kind experience!!

Went there in the morning, so it was still closed. Open at 10 on Saturday. However, the building is unique and the area is beautiful. You can walk around there and you can also experience the city boat nearby, going to the Perth Zoo. Enjoy guys!

Visited on a weekday (during school term). Not busy at all. The bell ringing tour is definitely worth the extra few dollars. There's lots to learn bout bell ringing, it seems there's a lot more skill involved than simply pulling a rope. The mechanics behind moving the bell, running the bell, installing a new one etc are quite interesting.

Great place to take kids both big a small. Be sure to book the whole experience tour, so you can try and ring the bells yourself.

I have lived in Perth for 10+ yrs, someone had told me that the tour was not worth the money, I should have never listened. I found the Gold and Bells package which included a tour at another 'not yet visited' place of interest of mine, the Perth mint. Tour starts at 11, wish I knew I could of had access prior because I definitely needed more time to get around the levels. I really enjoyed the interactive part of the tour and just for that experience alone, money well spent. Staff are absolutely lovely. Finished up hanging with the Anzac bell and had to get to the Perth mint for a 12.30 tour.

This has to be one of the most iconic places in Perth. The architecture is amazing and seeing the giant bells is absolutley amazing. It is definitely worth it buying the full tour to go all the way up and even ring the bells! The only issue is that the tower is now obstructed by the ugly hotels near the river, you can't even see it from South Perth! But overall, a great place!

Really enjoyed my visit. The walk up the tower offers lots of interesting historical information about Perth as well as really beautiful views of the city. You can also get a coin with tower imprint as a souvenir. The tower is quite tall, so if you are not good with heights, you may want to skip the actual visit, but you can still admire it from the outside :) Very picturesque at night time too (as it is illuminated with multiple changing colors). There are other nicely illuminated landmarks in the area surrounding it, so evening walk in the area is also a very enjoyable experience

This is a pleasant surprise attraction that was unplanned. Firstly the views on top is fabulous. But the Bell tour was excellent, they made us ring those vintage bells plus we walked from the 6th floor to the ground floor and it was informative and very interesting. For only A$18 per person which includes the your it's well worth it. You gotta go see it 👍👍👍

Iconic Bell Tower in Perth WA. The only Bell tower in the world to allow the public to ring the bells!! Joined the tour which included the ringing of the bells. Tour guide Jeff was very bubbly, friendly, informative and helpful. The lady also at the front desk, very polite and friendly 😊 Little one had a great time as did myself. View from the top was amazing! They also sell padlocks which can be engraved and hung on the fencing/bollards leading to the entrance of tower...very nice touch. Keep an ear out if you're ever around, the bells ring at noon 👍🏽 if you're in the area, pop over and have a look. Thanks guys 😁

My husband and I went to the Bell Tower tour's "Romance Package" on Australia Day and had the pleasure of experiencing a truly exceptional tour guided by Howard at the Bell Tower, and we can confidently say it was a five-star experience. Howard's engaging and humorous storytelling made the entire tour not only informative but also incredibly enjoyable. From the moment we started, Howard's passion for the history of the Bell Tower shone through. His anecdotes brought the structure to life, creating a vivid picture of its significance and the events it has witnessed over the years. His ability to blend facts with humor kept everyone captivated, making the tour feel both educational and entertaining. What set Howard apart was his attention to detail and thoughtfulness. After the tour, kindly offered his own 1 dollar coin by treating me to the nostalgic charm of this dollar coin-operated "bell" jukebox. As a special touch and after learning that I was originally from the Phillippines, he played the Philippine national anthem, making the experience not just about the tower but also a celebration of cultural diversity. It was a gesture that personalized the tour and left a lasting impression on everyone. Thanks, Howard! That was truly heartwarming. Howard's warmth and genuine enthusiasm for his role were evident throughout. He went above and beyond to ensure that each visitor felt engaged and connected to the history of the Bell Tower. His dedication to making the tour memorable sets him apart as a remarkable guide, and I highly recommend Howard for anyone looking to have an informative, entertaining, and culturally enriching experience. Five stars don't seem sufficient to express the excellence of Howard's tour – it truly was a highlight of our visit. We hope this gets to Howard and makes his day. 😊 We also super loved our personalised Love Lock and the certifcated we got as "certified bell chimers", so adorable! Kinda felt like we got married again! ❤️🔒🔔

Do the tour! As a Perth local exploring our beautiful city, we were amazed by the history and story behind this building. Being able to "play" the bells is purely and simply fun. We have "locked" our union forever by purchasing and placing a Love Lock outside the building.

Best Bell Ringing Experience with Jeff We had a great tour with Jeff the friendly guide giving a lot of historical information of ANZ bell. With the bell ringing it was one of the experience the kids were looking forward to. But it’s a pity there is no more coins to give out. But love it!

The Bell Tower is an iconic landmark in Perth, Western Australia. It stands tall on the edge of the picturesque Swan River and is easily recognizable due to its unique architecture. The tower was built to commemorate the Centenary of Western Australia and to honor the state's history and culture. Visiting the Bell Tower is a must-do for tourists and locals alike. Inside the tower, visitors can see the impressive collection of bells, including the twelve historic bells from St. Martin-in-the-Fields in London, which are rung regularly. The tower's observation deck offers stunning views of the Swan River, the city, and the surrounding landscape.

A must see and do if you are in Perth. I was fascinated to learn about the history of bells and their association with time keeping. But the absolute highlight was the guided tour where we got to ring the bells. Oriana was an absolute gem, teaching and guiding us resulting in a three way chime that sounded great. And to top it off we saw the ANZAC bell ringing at noon. A wonderful experience.

Oh my gosh, where do I even begin with the Bell Tower?! As a wedding photographer, I've seen my fair share of wedding locations, but this one takes the cake...or should I say, takes the wedding cake to a whole new level of fancy 🤣 First off, the Bell Tower is stunning. Like, jaw-droppingly beautiful. It's almost unfair to the bride and groom because they're going to have to work hard to compete with this level of gorgeousness. But hey, at least I get to capture it all on camera... 😅 If you want your day captured like this... Find me and mention this review. I'll do something super special for you if you do 😉

This was our second time to the bell tower and first time to the bell tower experience. We had Howard as our guide today and he was very witty, kind, and patient. Howard had a very gentle voice to come with his gentle personality so I wish he was hooked up with a mic. When we were all listening about the history of the bells and the building of the bell tower, my kids were a bit bored, but it didn’t take that long at all before the highlight of chiming the bells which my kids really enjoyed. The view on the 6th floor observation deck is always worth it. After bell tower, took my kids to get an ice cream, and enjoyed a snack and a drink at the cafe while kids played in the playground by the side.

It is so WRONG that the people of Perth paid for the final bell in the set to be made but bloody Richard Court got his name cast on the side of it. As for the tower... meh, it's nothing special and not worth paying more than ten cents to get into. A waste of money to build and a waste of money to see.

One of the world’s largest musical instruments, The Bell Tower houses the Swan Bells in a distinctive 82.5 metre-high tower located in Barrack Square. Come and hear the the bells and see the ringers in action - performing their ancient craft. Then head up to the observation deck at the top of the Tower to see 360 degree views of the Swan River and the CBD. The observation deck boasts a 26 bell Carillon that plays several well known tunes and national anthems for a gold coin; the first of its kind in the world.

Living in Perth for more than 5 years, this is one of my favorite places to take visitors. This time it was even more special as the staff at bell tower (John) was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. He even offered us a video postcard...it was so much fun doing it..it was almost closing time so we missed the ringing bell session but we still made the most of our visit....😉 It's a lovely place and a must see place in Perth. 🇦🇺
