The boss of the securities guys grabbed my hair and pulled me out when the only thing I did was dancing on top of the stage. he could just said get down from there and I'd have done it. He used hiss male and strength power on a small girl to kick me out. I won't recommend that place as a safe place.

A very good bar but with the baddest security in the world. Could you explain me please, why some friends is kicked out because there is no dancing???? This is really terrible. The friends was totally not drunken. I hope you think about it, because I think this was my last time in this bar and hopefully for a lot of another person's.

On Saturday Jan 14th I went to this bar with friends and right after stepping in a security blond hair woman aggressively grabbed my left arm and pulled me out. The reason was that were three people arriving and starting a queue that I hadn’t seen, I swear. I told her and said she could JUST ask me to join thee queue but she pretended that she hadn’t understood and, obviously, didn’t excuse herself. So, if you want violence and aggression for free, this is your place! Extremely disrespectful security people! They treat you like rubbish for no reason at all!

Bought a round of vodka and cordial and was charged 40$ then I was served water and cordial, I had asked the bar woman about it and she argued there was vodka in them so I asked multiple other customers to taste it and they all agreed there was no vodka in my drinks and then the bar woman then called the manager who also argued there was vodka in them even when there was 3 other customers saying they

Finally a bar where the staff are attentive, happy and friendly. This is so rare lately. Great music and service and respectful door staff. Well done 😄 I will say again…..AND Friendly door staff. Is that possible? Just saying!

Brilliant venue, a must-go on a Friday or Saturday night. Good for Price food, well and filling, and very juicy and tasty. Brought my Dad here for his birthday, his first time, and he was amazed that he'd never been before. Got to sit down with our burgers and beers, and watch real football (Gridiron, for any of you Australians). Amazing experience. Bands always have a great sound, and the place is always bopping with some swing or rockabilly dancers on the floor.

Absolutely love Tuesday nights here! Fabulous free beginners class with pumping beats and great instructors. The intermediate classes are informative and fun and the social is full of amazing dancers. The bartenders are on the ball and the vibe is casual and relaxed.

Hubby and I stumbled across this place by chance when we parked on the street out front. We walked in and there was a great band playing. We ordered some drinks and food, and played some snooker. All whilst enjoying the music. Not a bad place to begin your Saturday night.

This is a Perth icon. You can visit it whenever you want, you have to bring a passport to enter... On Wednesdays and Thursdays there are promotions on burgers and drinks for $5. From 5 to 7.. don't be late because they run out soon

There is a fat/big new zealand security gaurd who assaulted a person in front of me for absolutey no reason. Me and my friends left along with the other people lining up. Venue did nothing about it.

Went here a couple of weeks ago. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with cold and dismissive attitudes from the bartenders and servers. They seemed more interested in chatting with each other than helping customers, and when I asked for a recommendation, they responded with impatience and annoyance. I don't plan on returning to this bar and would caution others to think twice before giving it a try.

Great live music all the time friendly atmosphere

Great Saturday band, bar service was quick and friendly, security ensured it was safe and the bar staff collecting glasses and dealing with spills/breakages were amazing. It was very crowded but nit claustrophobic.

Great bar. Walked in on a Saturday afternoon, not expecting much, saw a great rock and roll band and some fine dancing. Good prices for beer and food.

Great bar with lot of different experiences, temátic nights like quiz, Salsa o rock for examples. Live bands playing and good sound system. Long menu with multiple options to eat and drink, free water and good service. My favourite it's salsa night on Tuesday, free lesson 7pm and then other pay offer after and free dance till midnight! Easy to arrive by bus or train from the suburbans around Perth.

I didn't eat here, reason for the one star I don't know what the food is like.. service was good until one barmade gave my friend a soda water, and she had paid for a bacardi and soda.. atmosphere was electric.. sang happily along with the band that was playing.. yes, I would go back

got to bar at 8.01pm and was charged$10 entry after 8pm. Only stay for Saturday rock band. the security staff are typical NZ Mauri meat heads not friendly at all. don't mind paying but at least make me feel welcome to come. very disappointing.

FIFO Worker so I'm here every second Wednesday for the pool competition. Burger night is great, music is great, company is always awesome. Has become my home away from home.

Geez the music was so average! If I had the choice of listening to more of this or slamming my junk in the car door I reckon I’m choosing door number 2 I reckon. Edit: had fun.

Great live band and sports venue

An amazing place to be entertained with live music or dance lessons but please clean this place or do some upgrades. Nothing has been cleaned or updated in 10 year's at least. The place has a smell the toilets look like a horror movie and the staff are rude and quality of drinks are average. Bouncers have a wierd complex and think they are gangsters or something. Use some of that cash you are raking in and make your club a little classier

Friday nights are Jazz night with Adam Hall and band. Swing dancers fill the floor! It's an entertaining and enjoyable way to spend the night.

Bands are great... shame about the dance floor.... it is the worst I have ever experienced... needs a total renovation. Sooo sticky!!! Someone is going to get hurt... knee and ankle damage at least, if not a hip from a fall. Dancers want to be able to dance!!! Please!!🙏

I went there for latin dance on Tuesdays. Great place to go. Very spacious. Excellent and friendly service from the bar crews. Free smoking area and clean 👌🏻

Nothing to say about the atmosphere of the bar, always great! I am a big consumer of furphy beer, but this time I took two pints 1 for me and 1 for a friend. Unfortunately we were never able to finish our beer it was so disgusting… we went to the bar to try to ask for a refund or 1 glass of something else but unfortunately the bar policy meant that we were never able to have anything else thing.. so we left really very disappointed.. hoping that this comment will help the bar to improve.. because despite everything there is still a very good bar.

Great place. Great bands. A few idiots in the the place. Toilets need updating badly. Staff could smile too. It won’t hurt.

Took a chance and had a blast. Friday nights Flash Nat knows how to party. Fantastic vibe and fantastic music means a fantastic night out. Great crowd just there to have fun staff extremely attentive and keep things smooth sailing.

Love the mustangs It's by far the most friendly and laid back place in Perth. Everyone always seems to be having a great time to the live music and the have free dance lessons etc. Never seen any trouble here in the 8 years I've been in perth! Highly recommend you go have a boogie here and let your hair down

Good range of drinks and reasonably priced (at least the ones I bought were). Didn't have much luck with the ladies but I think that was more of a negative reflection on myself, than the Mustang Bar....

Always entertaining. Generally friendly staff and patrons are a usually a pretty fun crew.

I may have been misinformed that this was a North American bar... went on a Friday night and was charged $10 entry before 9pm for 50s swing. Was feeling a little home sick and though a bar with walls adorned with neon Budweiser and fireball signs might be a place for a travelling Canadian.  Alas I was wrong... Mustang does not cater to the North American crowd as expected. I guess there is no home for North Americans here. Cheers Mustang.

Worst experience ever! Not only drinks were s**t but also apparently when you too friendly and just want to dance on a stage with a friendly musician the security guard will kick you out! I have done it in some many places and band appreciate it, cause it meant to them Me and My friend have amazing time. So if you too friendly do not go there. Also before 11 pm it is music for ppl my grandma’s age ( God bless my grandma) so it is your choice but i am not coming back!

I used to enjoy the Tuesday Latin evenings, bar and door staff are very good compared to other venues. Frustrated and disappointed to no longer be able to experience what is considered normal in a free, democratic and open society. My review is based on the grounds of Discrimination and utter disappointment felt, that after 10+ years patronage..

Security did not let me into the establishment at 02:25 even though I had a stamp on my wrist. Did not get informed about lockdown. Still let in his friends though. This is terrible customer service when I paid money for my entry.

Went for lunch. This is an old style sports bar based on an old American theme. A little dark but the lunch specials are amazing for the price. My steak sandwich came with fries and a glass of beer for $10. Not massive servings but for $10 you really can't complain. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Really cool place. Often great live music and really fun people around. The guards are a bit weird though. If you dance a little more passionate than the average person, the guards will pull you out of the place to claim you're too drunk.

Best bar in town. AUD 5 for beef burger (thick patty) with beer. Friendly and efficient staffs. One of my best experiences in Perth.

Great sports bar, come before 8 and get free entry and then leave before it gets hella gross. Otherwise come late pay the cover charge and get hella gross here and have a phenomenal night. The Mustang is your oyster?
