We went here for lunch and celebrating our birthdays. The ambiance and elegance of the restaurant decor if beautiful and inviting. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We opt for the flavours of the world lunch buffet which only happen on Thursdays /Fridays from 12-2pm. I truly enjoyed every dishes they offered. Good range of different cuisine and flavoursome.

I booked a dinner for 3 for my wife on the Saturday before Mother's Day. Since my wife is partial to Bloody Mary's I made a request that the bar have tomato juice available because many bars in Perth do not appear to stock it. Imagine our surprise when we entered the bar and not only had they remembered the tomato juice, but my wife said it was the best Bloody Mary she had, had in years. After drinks we moved onto the Firewater Grille for dinner and enjoyed tremendous food and service. The menu and ambience made the evening one to remember

We Came here for the dry aged beef Steak🤩The oysters were fresh and delicious. The dry aged steak was amazing. Perfect flavor and texture. You should definitely come if you want really good steak .And the dessert was the best I’ve had in Perth. Not too sweet but so Classy. Friendly attentive staff. Also the hotel was so pretty and had a wonderful atmosphere. Plenty of convenient parking down the road. I highly recommend this restaurant🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Fantastic restaurant. Steak was perfectly cooked and the wine list is excellent. Most of all, the service iwas some of the best I have experienced. Our waiter, Anthony, was very professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. We had a great time and will definitely be back. Strongly recommend.

We went to the $45 lunch buffet. The ambience was nice and calm, the service was very proffesional and one of the best we had seen. Unfortunately the food was a miss. They had served ravioli, four curries, steak, potatos, brussel sprouts, rice, sushi, seafood, salad and desserts. The pasta was very old, dry and they had just covered it in sauce. The steak was either well done or raw. Potatos were really dry and were supposedly cooked in duck fat. They had a falafel station but no one looking after it. The desserts were sickenly sweet, one of them I bit into it - some egg whites were raw and tasted pungent. I think they must have been good at one point but there didn't seem to be enough people to justify better quality turn over of food. It felt like the people who made the food did not bother to taste. The only things that tasted ok at the buffet was the Indian food.

i really wanted to like this place, as the ambience is really nice and the staff were very friendly and attentive, but the food really wasn't great. we also had a scallop entree which was very nice, but this chateaubriand ($150+) served 'medium' and sides were really quite below the standard we were expecting. judging by the reviews of others maybe this was a once off, or maybe the grilled steaks are a much better option.

My hubby and I enjoyed the most amazing lunch at the Firewater Grille on the weekend while staying as guests at the Duxton Hotel. Everything was spectacular from the greeting on entry to the stunning layout and decor of this beautiful restaurant. The service was by far the best we have experienced in years and the food......... 10/10! We had the rack of lamb and the Sea to plate (Pink Snapper). The food was presented beautifully, cooked beautifully and presented beautifully. The wine selection is extensive and you are sure to find something amazing. I honestly cannot fault a single thing. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary at the Firewater Grill and were treated to an absolutely delicious meal. The service was impeccable and only made the experience even more memorable. I can highly recommend Firewater Grill to anyone looking to enjoy a fine dining experience. As it was our anniversary we were also surprised with a little anniversary cake which was a lovely touch 🥰

I took my best friends for a special dinner as a thank you for being there for me this last year.we had an amazing night with amazing food. customer service was great. friendly ,very helpful with accommodating a baby , and lovely atmosphere. our first visit but I'm sure we will be back. thank you for making our night special

Started the night with non-alcoholic drinks bread, and burrata for appetisers! This is my first time trying the trending tiktok dish and I'm so glad I did! Even though it's just cheese, eaten with the dressing, salads, tomato's (especially the tiny ones) burrata is so delicious and I definitely want to get it again! The bread was tasty too - loved dipping it in the olive oil 💗 For mains, we got steak with a side of mashed potatoes, roasted potatoes, and broccolini. I'm always really cautious about a good steak but Firewater smashes it out the park! It was cooked so well and complimented the sides so well. For dessert, we split a Creme Brulee! It was citrus-ey and had some cute little berries on the side, it was nice! The restaurant had a nice ambience and the staff were lovely too, would highly recommend a visit 🫶🏽

It's a place with a very wholesome ambience. While you won't get a deluxe buffet selection, it's more than adequate for the pricing, especially as they are of the few buffets that still offer unlimited soda as part of experience. Despite the selections and portions not being as ebullient as the word buffet may connotate, I enjoyed that, for once, my buffet experience was more akin to home dining rather than gorging myself from a fancy trough. Would recommend that you try at least once, as the locale and service are all top-notch examples of hospitality.

Super service. Beautiful atmosphere. Good date night or anniversary venue. We went to celebrate a birthday, and their selection of wine was impeccable. $400++ bill but worth the occasion. Best mushroom sauce I've ever had.

This restaurant is so good I had to make another review. We came for ala lunch after breakfast buffet and it was just great everything from the atmosphere to the staff and the food did not disappoint. I read some of the negative reviews and I have been to 5 star hotel restaurant and buffets all over Europe, Asia, America and Australia, and this is by far the best of any, better service, atmosphere, quality, and value than anything in Sydney or Melbourne. Food is amazing and we went back twice for a la carte and once for buffet. Also the staff every time are helpful and attentive. We are going back for the high tea in few weeks.

First time to their lunch buffet today Thu. All the dishes are well prepared and nicely presented, staffs were excellent. IMO, it is much better than Atrium buffet lunch (not the quantity but better quality and ambience of the place and for less money😃). Will be back again for sure.

Went two weeks in a row and the first time I went it was excellent so I was excited to come back again. Tonight however there was so many faults and it was such a terrible experience. We ordered many entrees and one being the charred panini with pickled octopus. They didn’t tell us when we were ordering that there was no more octopus - when it came out the waiter overhead us saying “is that octopus?” which she said “no we ran out of octopus and it’s artichoke, they should have told you while you were ordering” and I said they didn’t. No apologies for it either. Also WHY IS ARTICHOKE A REPLACEMENT FOR OCTOPUS?! Secondly, it took close to 30-40 minutes to receive our desserts after we had ordered. After waiting so long I asked the waiter where our desserts were because we’ve been waiting a long time. They rushed over and gave our desserts almost immediately. Either they had forgotten about it or it was just sitting in the back not being served. Again, no apology. Thirdly, there was still blood running on my plate from the steak - I ordered a medium rare eye fillet. Serving a $52 ‘premium’ steak that isn’t well rested and no good presentation, any chef should know to do so. The service was terrible. Waiters didn’t really check up on us or refilled our water. Probably won’t come back here due to the poor lack of service.. there are many better places out there with far greater service and food standards.

Went there for dinner on Friday night, it was crowded but the maitre'd let us in which was great. Had a very friendly waitress and prompt friendly service. Its part of the Duxton hotel complex. The decor is modern and has a great outlook onto the Terrace. It's easy to see how this restaurant won so many awards. (see pic) It specialises in steak. The sirloin I had was ☑️perfectly cooked and served with steamed veggies and a yummy mushroom sauce, one of multiple sauces on offer. My wife had spicy prawns and loved them! We also had a visit (at our table) from the hotel manager, who informed us that a new Margaret River butcher has just been retained by the restaurant ! So, in two weeks time a new meat menu will be available. 👍

My first time here at firewater grill , it was for my birthday , we got greeted by a nice gentleman who pulled our chairs out for us , the service was amazing !! The food was beautiful I recommend the waygu tender ,to top it off a free birthday plate. I highly recommend trying Firewater Grill I will be coming back again

The most amazing lamb rack I have ever had, so tender and tasty, perfect in every way. Desert was honey cake and it was so so sweet and tasty! They gave us a lovely anniversary desert on a plate, which was so sweet. The staff were perfect, couldn't fault them, so friendly.

Firewater Grille is our Date Night go-to for a high quality, top-grade always-satisfies steak dinner. As Muslims it's great for us that there's no pork on their lunch and dinner menus so we never have to worry about cross contamination. We've had the lunch buffets here too before and it's wonderful value for money and super delicious! Their recently hosted Eid Buffet was especially fantastic! I've met the manager and he was very friendly, all the staff are! I never have any problems recommending this restaurant 🥰

We attended the Fire Water Grill yesterday (19.08.2021) for the lunch buffet. It was an experience we enjoyed. The lunch was great and the staff were very cooperative, respectful and cordial. We will definitely visit again and recommend our friends to visit as well.

Wonder experience! My partner and I went there for a steak night, we were definitely not disappointed! The steak was chargrilled on the outside yet tender and moist on the inside. We ate everything, the mash was creamy, the gravies were tasty and seasonal vegetables were spot on. To top it of, we were attended with first class services by all the staff! We give the whole experience 10/10! We will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a fine dining experience 👍

I’ve been here multiple times and never failed to disappoint me. Service is great overall friendly and quick. Lighting may be a bit too dark but sitting next to the fireplace isn’t too bad. Food is amazing, steak is always soft and tender. Definitely recommend for a date night or even solo night.

Fantastic service and delicious dinner and drinks. Had the lamb liver for entree and wasn't a fan of the lemon tahini, though the liver and braised onion combo was very good. Had the berry canele for dessert and while the ganache and such was absolutely wonderful, the cake part was rubbery and tasted like it had just been taken out of the fridge - inedible. The Aqua Aged Scotch fillet was incredible, especially with the red wine jus. However two of us ordered this but were informed there was only one left available, which was a bit disappointing for 8pm on a Friday night. The handcut fries were nothing incredibly special, but were a great vessel to try the wonderful array of sauces available. A special shout out to the truffle butter mash potato because that was absolutely the best potato I've ever had. Overall it was a fantastic experience that I would definitely recommend to steak lovers and anyone who is looking for a special night out.
