Amazing everytime, food is delicious and service impeccable. I recommend the caviar pasta as a must (was told you can order this as a main and pay extra which I'll be doing next time), sashimi was my second favourite followed by the steak whilst my husband loved the lamb ribs. Will definitely continue to come back, thank you Nine!

A fusion Japanese restaurant that's actually Japanese run but fused with non-Japanese flavours and ingredients. Some of these can be a real hit, but some are a miss for me as flavours can be not so complementary. Overall it's still a nice place to go for fusion Japanese. Years ago their always changing omakase that you only knew what you were eating on the night was absolutely amazing. However their current creations and execution aren't as good as they used to be.

Strategically located not far from the city but with plenty of parking space for the diners. We had two 3 course meals and a 2 course meal on a Friday night. Staffs are friendly and are brilliant. Entree - - Salmon Sashimi - Beef Tataki - Caviar Pasta - Snapper with deep fried octopus - Lotus soup Main - - Barramundi - Duck Breast - Steak We love everything we had that night. I’m someone who likes simple yet complex food. Every plate is beautifully presented with a few elements we can see. But the moment you tasted them, your mind is busy analyzing hundreds of ingredients hidden in the simple yet complex plate. I absolutely love the sauce of the fish for entree, can’t remember what it was but it tasted very silky, buttery miso that blends so well with the snapper. A minor critic would be the jus of duck where I still prefer the conventional way of more acidic gravy, over the wine reduction. The ambience is alright, I can still clearly see some untidy storage from the dining area. But doesn’t bother us as they no longer call themselves “fine dining” anymore, but bistro.

Visited with a friend and ordered the set menu with paired sake drinks. Waiters (guy and two girls) were fantastic in their delivery, knowledge and presentation, with a good amount of humour for good measure. The food was very good, especially the pasta and sashimi. It was probably just a little too much in the end but I certainly left satiated. Wonderful experience.

We opted for the Omakase 7-course and it was an enjoyable experience. The service was fantastic, water was constantly being topped up, all the courses came out in a timely manner with no long delays. The caviar pasta was the highlight of the evening; it is a must-try! I felt that the other courses were consistently good but not outstanding.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Nine Fine Food. Had the Osusume and everything on our plate was so good - we could not fault anything at all. The portions were quite generous and we were left with very happy, satisfied tummy after our 4-course meal. Our favourite was the duck ramen pasta we had for our entrees, and I loved their tuna salad (it was on their special menu). The staffs were very lovely and service was impeccable! We cannot wait to return.

Fabulous Japanese food let down by the inconsistent service. I can’t fault the food, the sashimi is fabulous. The 3-5 course menu is a great idea with a variety of great choices. The restaurant was busy however it took some time to be served and the waiters seemed very unsure when delivering the dishes and there was no interaction. Slightly disappointing due to the price you pay. Certainly a great restaurant for quality Japanese food.

Food was sublime. If you go for the omakase, which we did, make sure you get the size upgrade for the caviar pasta. This is the signature dish for good reason.

We went to Nine Bistro for a birthday dinner. From the moment we arrived until we left, we were treated beautifully and fed some amazing food. Standouts were the Salmon sashimi, the beef dish and the pasta. We'll be back. Domo

Great location and authentic Japanese flavours. Was nice to meet the owner who introduced himself. For such delicate dishes it was surprising and disappointing that the staff were in such a rush to push us through the courses and get us out the door by the closing time. Presumably driven by staff costs. Would not happen in Japan.

One of our go tos. Great value for money and great options too. I love my steak but would probably prefer this one with less sauce (unless it's mushroom or pepper but that wouldn't be Japanese would it).

We did the degustation here a few months ago and it was AMAZING! The decor/setting isn't anything special - you come here for the food! A delicious fusion of Japanese and European, each course was unique and tasty. Portions were small but perfect in their entirety, we left full and happy. Great that it's BYO too - you can take your nice wine without being charged the earth. Can't wait to go again!

Heritage - Where do I even start. I have to thank James, Lise and whoever else contributed to the most outstanding dining experience I have ever had, much of the entire reason I will come back is due to the impeccable service. When I booked Heritage Wine Bar, I was looking to dine somewhere a little bit fancy with wonderful food and a good bottle of wine, needless to say I got much more than what I was originally seeking. From the moment we walked through the door we were on a 5 star journey. James and Lise were attentive throughout the evening and could almost read our minds when it came to the beverages and the food. James not only made great recommendations of wines to us, we also received some educating on the wines as well. We shared a variety of the menu and all the food was absolutely divine, presented beautifully and cooked to perfection. Following dinner we were escorted down to Bobeche for a cocktail, but the service did not stop there. We felt totally looked after the entire way through, right up until we left the building. I simply cannot fault any part of the evening and its not something I will be forgetting about in a long time. Perth definitely needs more places like this and I will be recommending to all I know.

Had a lovely night at Nine Japanese Bistro. The food was great. We had omekase and they catered for Gluten intolerance and had some things changed up just to suit our needs. The service was amazing as well. Thank you chef and Eri.

Absolutely enjoyed dinner here with my partner, the interior is the warm oriental style with lovely lights. We had 4 courses and 3 courses meal. Every dish is so presentable with delicacy. It is just right portion of the meal to us but you'd better find other places if you are looking for bigger portion.

We had a wonderful dinner at the Heritage during Cloudstreet. The service was amazing. Our entrees were already set up and ready for us when we arrived. They were delicious. The beetroot macaroons exceptional. We had pork for mains. Crunchy crackle moist meat and roast potatoes done to perfection.

We spent time at The Heritage Wine bar last night for my birthday. With a group of 20, we took over the front bar. The venue, food, wine and service were faultless. From the time we first went in to look at the wine bar, the communication was detailed and timely. The staff last night were friendly, present and unobtrusive. Plenty of food and great wines topped the night off. After initial disappointment at not being able to book Bobeche, our first choice, we are very glad we went with the suggestion of the Heritage as the alternative. Big thank you to Amanda and team for helping make the evening everything I wanted it to be.

Delicious and tasty food with beautiful presentation and attentive, friendly service. The venue is dark and moody with lots of wine sitting along mirrored shelves and a scattering of the most delightful pineapple lamps. High quality ingredients combined to give you a delicious taste experience. Portions are smaller which suits us so we can have more plates to try and also fit in the exquisite dessert. Highly recommended!!

During the dark early days of Covid-19 I surprised my wife for our Anniversary by using the pre-prepared, cook at home meals that Heritage Wine Bar had morphed into providing, but I wanted to experience the real in-house dining experience. We attended last Thurs for my birthday with my family group of 6, and from the moment we arrived James took care of us exceptionally. A couple of our group were unsure about cocktails, but with a couple of quick questions to them James said "leave it to me", and they were very pleased they did! James' assistance with the considerable wine list and my tastes resulted in a perfect selection. The food was absolutely impeccable, highlighted by James' non-invasive visits to ensure all was good. A delightful experience, and new (for some of our group) was enjoyed by all. Thankyou James and the team at Heritage Wine Bar! We highly recommend you to those looking for a dining experience!

Absolutely beautiful food and service. We booked one of the private dining rooms for a team social event and everyone had such a great time. We had a large number of dietary requirements to cater for and it was not too much trouble at all. I have been recommending to friends since, and will be back. Thanks Heritage

Good, although far below the high expectations we had. The Beef Wellington was okay, but far from worth the $95 per couple. $4 for a slice of bread is excessive. And the main course sides were disappointing. We understand times are difficult but value for money is so important and this was lacking. I understand now why we were the only customers in the restaurant for the evening.

  • 4/5 Tristan H. 3 years ago on Google
Food is fantastic (crispy egg dish is a must) and the wine list phenomenal

  • 3/5 Joe,l S. 2 years ago on Google
Don't be too put off by my only 3 stars. I'm a hard critique. I have nothing to complain about the meals. I'm going to say it's similar to Tapas the way the menu was kind of set with option. The atmosphere of the restaurant was a lot more quiet than some tapas places which will suit some. We were about to talk clearly between us without any problems talking normally. At $100 per person for the 6 courses, I just would have expected something exceptional though. Every dish was good but nothing wowed me though. There was nothing I went "I wish I could have more if that". It brought perfection in what was made but it was just slightly simple for my personal liking.

The food was tastefully presented on the plates and tasted okay. However it was no better than any other Japanese restaurant that charged normal prices. We paid almost $400 for an average meal which worked out at $100 per head and we were still hungry after a 3 course meal. I felt totally ripped off. My wife and I have eaten at restaurants all over the world so we have much experience and this place was certainly a disappointment.

My partner and I came for an anniversary dinner and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff were super friendly and the restaurant was lovely. The only downside was that there was a table near us that was extremely over the top and loud, so that was very irritating. But I can't fault the restaurant for that 😊 I definitely recommend nine fine foods!

  • 5/5 Nancy G. 3 years ago on Google
We have been to Nine Fine Food on a number of occasions and have never had a bad experience. The staff are efficient, friendly and very accommodating. The time between courses is never hurried but at the pace of the diners and the food is absolutely delicious. The menu is extensive and caters for most dietary needs. A great place to celebrate birthdays.

We went to Heritage as part of the Glass Houses on the terrace experience. Having a private dinner in the Glass House was an awesome experience in itself. I took my partner here for a special occasion and we were really excited about the 5 course menu after checking the reviews online. We got here hungry and with high expectations. Sashimi was delicious however all other dishes were only low-average, not what you would expect for the price. His steak was terrible. Not the chefs fault, it was cooked properly however very low quality, full of fat. My partner loves steaks and he always finishes his dish.. He couldn't even eat this one there was no piece of meat just fat. Unfortunately we have been very disappointed, not what we were expecting at all. We left still hungry and walked into a different place.. Table cloths consist in a thin paper sheet on the table I'm not sure if we have just been very unlucky here however from our experience no quality for the price

Nice ambience and great service, they were so sweet and even gave us a celebration dessert for our anniversary ❤️ Dishes honestly were a bit hit and miss. Bf and I ordered the 4 course, half of the dishes were absolutely delicious (sashimi, lamb ribs, steak - all were terrific and perfectly executed) and the other half were a miss for us by either too salty, odd ingredient / flavor combinations or textural issues (for example, we don't recommend the agedeshi tofu because the skin is gooey, beef tataki could be sliced thinner or duck confit very salty). Wanted to give a higher rating but maybe next time. I can see there are many positive reviews on this restaurant so maybe it was just a once off day.

A great experience while having a staycation in Perth. Our sommelier was delightful - knowledgable, friendly but never intrusive and she obviously loved talking about the recommendations she was making for our meal. The meal was delicious. This is probably the best dining experience I have had in Perth. All courses were excellent - dishes utilising great produce and producing stunning flavours! The wine selection by the glass. half bottle or bottle is brilliant. Great ambience. The service from James was first rate. He assisted with one selection to match each course. As a total package of food, wine and service it is brilliant.

I’m not normally want to write a bad review for place. However this was that bad that I felt an obligation to the wider community to let them know. I had been here previously 10 years ago and I thought I should revisit this place as from memory it was an amazing food experience. Sadly, I was mistaken. My partner and I went for the six course degustation. Valued at $100. 1st course. Salmon and scallop. The salmon and scallop both lacked flavour. Ice cold thin pieces of both. As a topper, pieces of cut up salmon on the middles piece of the scallop. Very uninspired and lacking flavour. 2nd course. Cavier pasta. Maybe the only saving grace in this whole fiasco. Flavour was as remembered. Creamy and light at the same time, with mushroom spread throughout it. But the size served was abnormally small. 3rd course. Miso Toothfish. The restaurants take on Miso Cod from other Japanese restaurants. The toothfish itself was a delight however being such a delicate fish it was overpowered by the miso component. Was not a fan, however I can see other people enjoying this dish. 4th course. Duck Breast. Was unintentionally served cold. Very pink. Skin was not seared as well as it should have been. Skin ended up being chewy with the fat layer underneath. Not something that I would want to try again. 5th course. Beef tenderloin. Served too bloody even for someone that normally orders medium rare. Felt like I had a live cow. Palate cleanser? No cleanser. 6th course. Not worth mentioning. Just disappointing
