This is what I ordered and i got rice instead of veg samosa. Also checkout the quality of garlic naan. Tasteless. I called the restaurant to inform them and they said maybe uber driver did this….. maybe yes he took the veg samosa and put rice inside.

When in Perth, I always make it my business to visit this establishment at least once, for a hot Madras lamb curry and steamed rice... and yes it is HOT!🤒 Also to meet up with the very welcoming owner Rakesh. What a character! He has a loud voice that sounds like a foghorn and always remembers me, sometimes after a twelve month or two year absence. His restaurant is always spotless, he and his staff are most efficient , the food is to die for with a very comprehensive range of Indian cuisine as well as beverages and the prices are quite reasonable. Also the paintings on the walls are well with the visit. Located in Pier St, just one block west if the Hay St mall, I do recommend a visit if you are fanging for some good Indian tucker.

Reasonable price. Goat Curry is highly regarded, but it’s very spicy. Good rice. Clean environment and fast service. The front staff is also friendly, quite different from the typical Indian restaurant.

Cosy , clean amd very tasty. Most important is also affordable prices, wide variety and take away there too. A great one for the Indian diaspora of Perth. Enjoy the cuisine and Indian ambiance

We returned and again were not disappointed. Service was good. Food was great. Tasty and nicely cooked. Prices are reasonable. We enjoy the vegetarian dishes as well as the breads and pappadums. I like the paintings on the walls.

I love indian food but I am deeply disappointed with taste here. The butter chicken was not flavourful and the other dishes were mediocre. Price was reasonable as I paid for the lunch offer. If not, I would not have hesitated to give it a one star. The service was great however, the lady who serve us was kind, polite and welcoming.

Incredulous would be a word I could use to describe the take away I had for dinner last night in my quarantine Hotel. Incredibly delicious Chicken Jalfrezi with rice and garlic naan, I don my cap to the chef for doing a great job, will definitely be having another meal soon before I’m released

What a fabulous find. I was sat opposite this restaurant enjoying drinks with friends, but the amazing smell coming from this restaurant, drew me across the road to enjoy a perfect meal. I had vegetable curry, rice and the best garlic naan I have ever tasted. The service was excellent. I really couldn’t find any faults with anything. 110% recommend.

The staff are incredibly friendly and always make sure you have cold water and check you’re enjoying your meal. We got chicken madras, lamb rogan josh and they specialised a meal for my Mam by changing the meat and sauce to her liking. The portions are generous and so tasty. Been twice and will be back again and again!

My first time at City Heart, Perth. I visited it on recommendation of my friend. I liked the ambience and sitting arrangement, it didn’t feel crowded. I was greeted by the staff member. I ordered Chicken Lababdar and Laccha Paratha. I was impressed by the size of Laccha Paratha. The serving portion is just okay for two. I like the taste of curry and it had no artificial colour which is the best part. Chicken was cooked just PERFECT. Curry could have been more flavourful but, that’s my preference. It was priced decent compared to order Indian restaurants in Perth. I didn’t order another dishes as it was just me. May be other time, I’ll order something in veg. Good Luck Team! And continue serving the authentic Indian food.

Excellent service! Their offered me water right away as it was a hot day eventhough I was having a take-out. Food was also super good.

One of the best Indian meals I have ever eaten. A beautiful vegetarian starter - spicy planner, onion bhaji and samosa. My wife doesn't like sauces so they cooked two salmon steaks spiced on the tandoor. The keema nan was wonderfully light and fluffy with loads of minced lamb. If I'm ever back in Perth I'd go there again.

The food here was good! We got the goat curry with a side of saffron rice and 2 butter naans. The meat was soft and easily fell apart. The gravy was good and had a bit of spice to it, but wasn’t spicy at all. We loved the naan here 🤩 it was big and warm. The staff kept asking us if that was all or if we wanted more. I didn’t like how when I entered the bathroom, it smelled like bleach, so maybe they cleaned it a few hours before closing because it was a strong, unpleasant smell.

Had a lovely dinner here with my partner. We had butter chicken, lamb korma and naan. The flavours were excellent and the service very friendly. Would definitely come back.

Not worth the price Paid $56 for 3 dishes believing 1 of them was a combo meal not $18 for 8 prawns and a very small amount of greens. The lamb vindaloo has so much chilli in it even hubby and I can't finnish it!! (We both both eat plenty of chilli regularly!) Very tempting to go back to the shop and ask where the rest of the food is!?!! Higher value - $30-35 max *Lamb meal - 1 Regular take away container Very light amount of lamb Mostly Chilli sauce + ($4 for rice container ( this understandable)) *Tandoori King Praws - $18 F* all food. 8 Praws Price equivalent to meal not item Tiny green salad and slice of lemon *Veg Samosa - $9 Decent Small hand sized pastry Potato and pea filling With some mint sauce 👌 (For the content, flavour& size) Still $6 for something special ~ amount not equivalent and can't eat it Thanks 😒

Best butter chicken and garlic naan I have eaten in quite some time. Ladies on the front counter were friendly and very helpful. Portion size was generous. Would definitely order from again.

The food was absolutely amazing & I could not fault a thing with the food the gentleman that served me was very polite and kept double checking that everything was okay! Would definitely recommend this place. Only down fall wa the toilets had an absolute horrible smell to them!

Incredible food - honestly, we stopped for a quick bite, ordered just whatever expecting to leave most and carry on our night but - when the food came we demolished it. Absolutely Delicious.

Don’t go there. The service was below zero, chicken is halved cooked, easy to tell heated food, could be there for days. Cashier speaking loudly on the phone with friend speaker on. Not recommended.

We came back here twice during our trip because the food is very delicious! We've tried out 8 different dishes and they all didn't disappoint us. The waiter/waitress were nice even though the second time we were there, she seemed a little moody and we were feeling too welcomed. But it was fine. The restaurant itself doesn't look very comfortable with bright lights. But as I mentioned, the food is definitely worth it

Best Indian Restaurant in Perth

Went down for lunch to have the Vegetarian thali and honestly the quality and taste of food was perfect and delicious. Moreover,the quanity per person was really good enough . Would definately recommend this place and for sure will be going back.

My go to place for the Vego Lunch Thali. Best price and everything on the plate is delicious. Tried the dinner options, the Vindaloo wasn’t very good.

We are staying next door and could smell the wonderful curry aromas. Wasn’t disappointed at all. The food was amazing with onion bhaji and somas to start then melt in the mouth butter chicken and chicken tikki massala with rice and naan. I’d recommend it very highly. Enjoy

Good restaurant to visit and their taste was excellent. The ambience was good and luckily it was not crowded and we spent our nice dinner. One of the best restaurants in the city area.

Five stars for food but deducting one for very poor ambience. Punches way above its weight for taste and flavour and we loved our curries. Great samosa and naan as well. Really annoying annoying background music with a single song on repeat. Despite that we highly recommend it.

Easily the best Indian cuisine I’ve ever had. The vindaloo, the butter chicken, the bhaji. Every dish is full of flavor and quality ingredients. We’ve been a customer for 3 years and will keep coming back over and over.

I have ordered a goat biriyani and the meat was not fresh at all. It tasted like 2 weeks old meat. When I told this to the reception, she just said 'I will tell the chef' , not even a sorry or don't even ask more details. Very poor service and old food.

I visited today for our dinner… I got disappointed by the quantity of the food they served… we ordered veg curry, butter naan, garlic naan and a steamed rice… the gravy is not enough for two of us… not worthy for the price, they charge $18 for a gravy and Steamed rice $4 but quantity is low compared to other Indian restaurants in Perth.
