After seeing all reviews online we were very keen to try The Partisan. The food was ok, reasonably priced but could be better especially the fish taco which literally had one thin strip of fish each. We sat outside with nice water views until it started raining the umbrellas outside do not cover/shade some parts of the table.

Was here for lunch on a Public holiday. We had a reservation to were seated promptly. Beautiful location. Great portion sizes and very timely service. We ordered the pasta and the food did not disappoint either. The cocktail my wife ordered was fine. I had a beer. Couple of minor observations, we were directed to our table which was set up but wasn’t wiped down from the earlier patrons. The toilets could do with periodic checks and cleaning. Parking is a short stroll away which is convenient. We will definitely be back. Thank you

Lunch with a friend. Seated easily and scanned the qr code to order and pay. Much preferred over the queueing for some time at the counter method, but they also offer waited service for the more classic experience. Food was excellent, staff were friendly without being intrusive. Setting is lovely and relaxing. I was last here two years ago and they are massively improved. Looking forward to the next visit.

Booked a table here for breakfast after parkrun, based on a friend's recommendation. I am soooo happy we came here! Setting by the river is beautiful, and the food was fabulous. Can very highly recommend.

Beautiful location just next to the river. Loved the view. Coffees are great. Food is not bad. Orderd toast with fried chicken tasted good however the chicken was uncooked in the middle, informed the waitress and the replaced it immediately. Good music. Good spot for a coffee after morning or evening walk around the river.

Great location with river views, ordered the seafood platter, the mussels were not the freshest, and the calamari was really chewy. The cocktail menu was fabulous, I will return and try the breakfast menu.

Ordered a seafood share plate for $65- 3 prawns, 5 mussels, 4 pieces of crappy quality fish, 5 pieces of squid, 5 cockles (1 wasn't even cooked and won't open), some crappy salad and 6 baby potatoes. Queried where was the chips and was told they haven't updated the menu and they don't serve potato chips. Other tables were eating potato chips!! Wouldn't we be told about that before we ordered not after we ordered? The seafood platter was meant to be shared between 2 people, but the amount of food is enough for one person only. The items on it were odd numbers where we can't even share between 2! Definitely not worth $65, more like $25 worth of food. Public holiday surcharge on top of that!

Update 5/9/22: Thank you staff at partisan again for the amazing hospitality and great food. You have again made my wife’s day so special with the coffee art of a bear. She was so surprised and moved by the gesture. Original review: What a splendid place to have a nice weekend breakfast, nice views of the river, boats moving by. Staff were nice and service was very prompt. Smoothies are value for money as I could tell they were blended with real fruits. Breakfast serving was generous and did not have to wait long.

I rate The Partisan. Great spot and they're very happy to accommodate the Beagle. Good menu that changes up often. Great spot for taking a walk around the river then include Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner as the reward.

Spent a lovely evening for dinner at The Partisan. I have always wanted to try this venue as it is always busy. The staff are very attentive and we didn't wait long to have our drinks and food orders taken. The food didn't take very long to be served. The portion sizes were plentiful and the food was absolutely delicious. The beef cheek ragu pasta was so tender and tasty! I will definitely be back and I would recommend booking so you don't miss out!

Fantastic views and good food. Went for a late breakfast on Sunday. The place was very crowded and we hadn’t booked in advanced., but we could get a table inside. Despite being very busy staff were attentive, patient and efficient. Food was also very delicious. 5 star experience

A beautiful place for a brunch date either with friends or special ones. Nothing can beat these relaxing views and vibes and I’ve become their regular because of these reasons 🤩 The dishes were wonderful and I absolutely enjoyed everything I tried. By the way, this is the only place in Perth where I enjoyed fish and chips 🥰

Lovely little place, staff always friendly and helpful and the food is excellent. I've started coming here regularly and am yet to have a bad meal. Reasonably priced which is also a bonus.

Made a reservation as this place came highly recommended. Luckily we did as it was bustling when we went. The lady at the front was very straightforward 🤣 but efficient! We were sat outside under the umbrellas, and it was still cool as there was a slight breeze despite the weather being in the 30s. Ordered the share platter (turkish bread, pork belly, grilled chicken, patties of some kind served with dips, dukkah, balsamic vinegar, pickles), calamari and fries, and fruit juices to share between 3 people. It was a lovely meal and we were definitely really full! Would be back 😊

Absolutely beautiful lunch spot. Plenty of seating both outside and inside. Excellent food all around, and food envy of neighbouring tables. Juice and lemonade were fresh to order and a delight for a warm day. I will 100% be returning.

My wife and I went for the first time for dinner last night. The location is fantastic and the view makes for a really pleasurable experience. We were quite pleased with the quality of the food as well as the pricing. We ordered a variety of starters and shared. The service was a bit hit and miss. There seemed to be too many wait staff present and we were asked the same question from multiple staff members on many occasions, which became a little bit annoying. Overzealous waiters tend to ‘get in the way’ of a nice night out with a loved one. I guess it can be hard at times to judge how many staff you would need rostered on, but they didn’t seem to have any tables allocated to each person so they all kept coming up and asking you when you are ready to order and trying to take drink orders after we had already placed them with someone else. At times 3 different waiters tried taking our order. But on one occasion, one person who took a drink order didn’t even put it in to the system and we had to get them to go back quite some time later to make sure my wife got a glass of wine. The order hadn’t actually been processed. I understand some places just have off nights, so I would likely consider going back again and give it another go in a while.

Nothing to fault and 5 stars well deserved. Good food, nice and fresh ingredients and ample flavours. Coffee was hot and strongly brewed. Several ce quick and efficient. Views over the waters at East Perth. Shade from the jacaranda tree as well as the shade sails. Can make reservations if required. One to come back to.

I am not a person who writes reviews usually but we went to the Partisan for the first time today for breakfast. It was so busy there( Sunday morning) but the staff were so attentive and friendly, 5 stars for the services. The food was so nice and well presented. The view adds bonus to the place. We we finished my little one asked will we be back again, and I said “definitely “

Went for dinner on a Tuesday night. The location is great, we were sat outside and the tables had individual heaters which was a nice touch! Service was really good and the food was delicious. Entree and mains were great value for the price. I’ll definitely be adding this to my list of places I would visit again!

Amazing service. My wife and I were there with our 7 month old and Ricky made us very comfortable. He went out of his way to help with our child which allowed us to enjoy our meal. Very pleased with the service and attention to detail.

It was a fine evening, family and I came Perth for holiday. Family wish to have pork ribs, so the nearest restaurant with pork rib on the menu is Partisan. It is facing the river, good view and reasonably priced. We ordered BBQ Pork Ribs, Duck Ravioli, Salmon Risotto. On google map, the restaurant is only rated 4, so we didnt expect much. But, to our surprise, all the dishes tasted very good, flavour was perfect, ingredients blend in very well in the risotto, the pork ribs were tender and juicy (4 ribs per plate), duck ravioli was creamy and rich in flavour. I would fly back Perth jz to come to this restaurant again! So delighted with their dinner. The waitress was very kind to us, we have elderly and she made extra mile to turn on the heater n shift it next to our table even though the heater was quite a distance to our table, she also serve hot water to keep us warm. She is also very patient in taking order, recommending the food on the menu to us. All my family members approve this restaurant to be 5 star. 😊

I really liked the view. Went here for a birthday brunch. The servings were huge and the food was interesting! I had crab scrambled eggs on toast, which tasted alright. But I enjoyed their soufflés pancake the most. 😋

Coming here for family lunch time. Every bite is beautifully delicious. One of my favourite dishes is American Pork Ribs and followed by crispy barramundi (fish of the day) even though I need steamed rice for that. We are coming back for sure.

Been meaning to go for years. Went Friday night. Loved everything. Food was sensational. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was my steak was served on a metal hot plate so it continued to cook my steak. Next time I'll ask them to plate it on a normal plate. As otherwise everything was super fantastic. My parents always want to go to the royal so I'm so happy they finally let us try this place. We will go here from now on. Only took one photo.

Beautiful location and nice view. Food and coffee was okay. We also ordered cake and it was awful. Very very dry and want taste good as well.... I don't know wether they displayed for too long time or what, they need to check their quality of food.

What better way to spend your Saturday morning chillin' with your missus down in the Claisebrook Cove with a decent cuppa coffee, if you can find a place to sit that is. Punters are already struggling to find seats outside by 9:30 in the weekends, unless you've made a booking so that might be a good idea. We could only find a place inside, which is also fine. I dig the food here though - a lot of points go for the taste and presentation. I'm not even necessarily a mushroom lover and I love the Mushroom Lover. The eggs benny are alright too. I really like the coffee served up here too, as it tends to be less milky than 90% of coffee shops around town.

Nice view from the table. Ordered Wagyu beef burger. Good portion and tasty. Cheese cake looks good I need to try next time as I was too full to try. Staff were nice too!

We ordered coffee and cake for the afternoon. Beautiful view; coffee and food were of good quality on their own but 2 star for the service/overall experience.. staff was rude and minding her own business - didn’t seem listen to me when I made the order. Turned out the coffee was served quickly (as soon as we ordered) but cakes came in 45 mins later (considering they don’t require basically require preparation). Had to ask 2 times for the cake - by the time cakes were served we finished the coffee a long time ago.

Loved the location Staff were great, although wasn't sure how to the tablet for ordering. I ordered American BBQ RIBBS, I found then dry, and no sauce. My lunch partner ordered the steak, asked for it to be rare, and it come out cooked to perfection.

A nice river side Cafe located next to several beautifully manicured gardens and the fantastic bridge over the river. Service is a little slow and the fried chicken on French toast was a indeed too sweet. I would recommend the eggs benedict instead.

Partisan boasts an idyllic setting that effortlessly merges with the beauty of nature. The restaurant's outdoor seating area is strategically arranged to provide breathtaking river views, making it the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. It was a great culinary experience that exceeded all expectations. The menu is a culinary masterpiece that offers a diverse selection of dishes to cater to different palates. I opted for the chef's tasting menu, and it was a gastronomic journey that left me in awe. Each course was a work of art, both in presentation and flavour. The experience justifies every dollar spent.
