The service was excellent, the waitresses were friendly, no doubt. However the food is really very mediocre at best. Imagine waiting for quite some days for your reservation, and got served with food that is of bare minimum standards with a high price point. Not sure what the hype is about. Some reviewers said they had the best Japanese food here in Nobu, obviously did not order what the Japanese would have eaten or never been to Japan. The food are not prepared with love or heart, just trying to serve them up as fast as possible in a plastic bento box. This is not what Japanese food is about. The sushi we had, the rice are barely holding together when you pick them up with chopsticks. Just disappointed.

Absolutely blown away by this unforgettable experience. The waitress we had was so friendly and knowledgeable, she recommended incredible dishes. The seat we had was comfortable with a great view of the pools. The most incredible dishes were the sashimi wrapped around nashi pear, the seared scallop in jalepeno sauce, miso cod, soft shell crabs with watermelon, the octopus, Benton box dessert fondant cake with green tea icecream. Definitely worth the wait/hype. Ps Book a month in advance at least.

Went to Nobu first time as a family dinner treat. Our little one was seated with their high chair and happy with the food. Customer service being provided to us was second to none. The area is spacious and dishes are fantastic. Our server explained the detail of each and every dish that brought out to us. Super friendly and was given professional respect. Ended up ordering a lot and we still want to order more but we gave up as we are too full. Japanese Wagyu is a must try!! Will be coming back again to try out the dish that we missed on our first round. Great job Nobu Perth Team and you won our hearts in the first try.

Best service that I can remember in a long time, food very good besides the salt and pepper squid which was a disappointment, I rather Silks salt and pepper squid with chili. Overall a lovely experience and shows how important good service is and how so many restaurants lack it. Great memories made thanks Nobu team x

Booked dinner for a special occasion, it was actually a wonderful and very special experience. The food and flavours were of course all delicious, but we felt the price tag was justified by the overall experience created by exceptional service, and lots of little touches: - Our waiter Ken was so personable and chill and always had a little chuckle, even wearing a mask you could tell he spoke with a smile. - Our dishes arrived one by one with the most perfect timing in between. - Some of our chosen items ended having similar flavours, but Nobu had rearranged their order of arrival between other dishes so that everything tasted new and exciting. - Our water glasses were constantly refilled, and we noticed staff constantly roving the floor keeping an eye on tables, but staff never felt intrusive. - We only realised this much later, but our waiter was somehow able to tell that everything we ordered was for sharing (without us mentioning it or him asking to confirm), and quietly set out sharing plates for the whole table and dishes were placed in the centre. - Dessert with the birthday candle on it was placed in front of the birthday person by a different waitress with confidence (I was impressed they have a system that doesn't involve re-confirming with the guests) - The soy sauce was tastier than usual :) Overall we spent 3 hours dining and it felt like time just flew by. As a bonus we were seated facing the pool, and at night time it was nicely lit up in a relaxing glow. Some food that we might not order again next time: - Sashimi: Actually $8 for one normal sized scallop cut in half - Ceviche: Was a bit too sour and wasn't as satisfying/delicious as other dishes - Pork Belly: My friends did love this one and it was extremely melty (we think it was sous vide), but they didn't get rid of the "smelly" pork scent. Everything else was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend Nobu for a special occasion. We spent $300 inc 2 drinks and 2 desserts between 3 people, and we were completely full and couldn't eat any more food. While you might get just as tasty food for a lower price at a couple other places in Perth, the overall experience would make me come back :)

Everything was perfect! I love how the staff are so patient in explaining to you the details of the menu and the different courses they offer. The food is definitely of high quality and tastes a thousand times better than they look! I actually am lost for words for how delish this meal i had was, i just have to say you gotta come and try it for yourself. 🥰 the sunset view was amazing too

We had a selection of shared plates and the food was delicious. Service was also very good. Only downside I don't see why a wine list has to have everything high end. We have so many good wines here which are available @ a reasonable price.

Nobu 'Signature' Menu is also available as a vegetarian option but not advertised as such ($100). Allow 2.5 hours if you're going down the Omakase route. Friendly/competent staff. Try the White Chocolate Mango Martini and thank me later.

Brilliant experience. Like a friend said, “you don’t pay just for the food, you pay for the experience”. The staff is great. Could have literally awarded 5+ if that was an option. Ask for Dave the bartender if he’s available. Great expertise.

Good experience with the booking staff. Excellent waitstaff. Tried the ultimate lunch served as a bento box with rice sushi, maki rolls, tempura prawn, grilled pork, and whiting. Also comes with a glass of sparkling wine. Excellent experience. The omakase offering is even better. Great service.

Hands down, I consider Nobu to be the best restraunt in Perth. I have eaten at many, many places and cuisines, some of which are outstanding. However only when you have sampled the Black Cod Miso and the A5 Japanese Wagyu (the real deal) from Nobu, can I say I had an almost divine eating experience. Both worth the wait to get a booking and the price. You will want to return. Twice for me and planning next visit!

Can not recommend enough. Will be back for my birthday in the summer (availability permitting!). Thank you Nobu for a wonderful evening.

Great service and experience at Nobu. April who looked after us was very knowledgeable with the menu and helpful with suggestions. The food was of very high standard and every morsel was so delicious and beautifully presented. We had the signature omakase which consists of eight courses and added 4 other dishes. Highly recommend if you haven’t been. You’ll need to book ahead though.

Loved it, great atmosphere. Menu was easily explained in how to cater for a group of 3. Meat was delicious, whilst the tacos lacked size they made up for it in flavours. New styles oysters making my mouth water looking back at pics. That rib eye was enough for three to share without being too greedy. Would dine again.

Always a great time here. Impeccable service and food/drinks are always on point. Salt and pepper squid was a bit bland.. need a sauce to accompany it. But every other dish was delicious. There's a reason I seem to keep coming back.

Lovely staff who go above and beyond! Menu was explained thoroughly and they take great photos of us! Food and ambiance was also great. We had yellowtail jalapeno, salmon nashi pear, spicy tuna crispy rice, black cod miso and the pork belly, and they were all superb! We also had the lobster wasabi taco and the jalapeno scallops, but they could have been better seasoned. Cocktails were also great and for dessert we had miso cappuccino and taro tiramisu. Both were bomb! Thanks for a great experience Nobu!

Beautiful chandeliers laden ceiling and super friendly staff with yummy food. Nobu was a great way to celebrate "date night" with my hubby. Food : we started with steamed spicy edamame to share and a serve of miso soup each (it's quite small) . We had a mushroom Toban-yaki and a serve of the renowned Roasted cauliflower with jalapeno Salsa. These two are our favourite "vegetarian" dishes at Nobu , and around the world the quality and taste is consistent and just exceptional. Service : Our table was taken care by Zina. She was very sweet and welcoming. She knew the menu well and was able to suggest a vegetarian friendly course for us. Layout and interiors : Very average looking table layout and a bit disappointing as the chandeliers looked very out of place. The chandeliers however were the highlight of the venue alongwith the view outside the large full length windows. Location : this restaurant is located near the main entrance of the world renowned Crown Hotel in Perth, next to the casino. Overall : Definitely going back soon as Nobu is a classic date night venue. Food and service cannot be faulted.

Over our long weekend we had breakfast and dinner. Petition is a favourite restaurant for me, especially for breakfast. There are always some unique dishes and interesting flavours. The service is consistently good, polite, attentive and friendly. It is getting busier all the time and you are now best to pre book. Difficult to do a walk-in. If you can’t get in try Post down the hall, also very good, but favourite is Petition

I really wanted to give 5 stars because the food is amazingly delicious, however there were a couple of disappointing moments. I went with my work colleagues for our Xmas party. 26 people split between 3 tables. To begin with service was exceptional. Staff made sure they identified all persons with food allergies or dietary requirements, and not once did they make any errors during service. We had the Nobu signature menu which has 10 dishes. Every dish was delicious. However the miso cod had bones. I really would have expected a restaurant of this quality to have removed all bones from their fish. My piece had 3-4 pin bones (I took a photo showing the first long pin bone). Apart from the fish bones in this one dish, the meal was exemplary. The other disappointment was when the meal was finished. A small group of us had cocktails which needed a separate bill. We were given the bill, but then we could not get anyone to come and take payment. There were 4 of us raising our hands, saying "excuse me", trying everything to politely get someone's attention. At one point a waiter looked directly at us with our hands raised, but continued to walk past. It shouldn't have been this difficult to pay. Except for those two disappointing moments, this was an amazing night. I will definitely be returning - but will keep my eye out for more fish bones.

Fabulous experience. Came for lunch with two other couples to celebrate the 50th birthdays of our husbands. The service was excellent and second to none. We ordered the Bento Boxes which were exceptional in presentation and flavour. We then ordered 3 desserts at the end which were delivered with a lovely birthday message. Definitely recommend this restaurant for a visit and will be back. Thank you Nobu for a wonderful dining experience.

The best sushi that I have experienced in Perth. We made a booking online, however, we weren’t booked in upon arrival (hence 4/5 rating). Service in WA generally is below par but Nobu was an exception. Recommend to book ahead and confirm booking via call.

The service was bang on. The food was delicious. Some of the cold dishes were overpowered by yuzu to the point you couldnt taste anything. Some of the dishes are wayyy overpriced but is expected. Great experience and would go again but stick with the got dishes as they are bang for buck and good size. Some of the elements on the desserts are not nice but majority was spectacular.

The food was good but the waitresses were bad considering it’s Nobu you would think they would hire competent people. Even the food was not getting delivered on time and had to be flagged down by her boss because waitress was too busy gossiping to her friend about irrelevant stuff which I overheard since I was sitting at the chiefs table. I also found out after that they were supposed to bring out a birthday cake but completely forgot to ask. Additionally, I asked for a knife and fork which never even got to me and the dirty plates from the entree were never replaced. Not going to lie considering how much this place is this factor ruined my dining experience on my birthday! Very disappointed with the service.

Really cool little place. Coffee was excellent. Both of them. Service was really good even through the huge number of people showing up for their morning coffee. I ordered the thing with the bun and the bacon and hash brown and egg. It was hard to eat but worth it. More bread than I would normally like (too much bread to bacon ratio). But that's just a picky preference. So five stars and I'd love to go back and try some of the other breakfasts.

I will not go there anymore.. I only go there with booking, but the reception will still let me wait and everytime same story ,, oh sorry someone spill wine ... the lady who served us the champagne doesn't know how to handle the glass and let it bobble half way ... shame shame shame ... I can write more if you want ...

(Translated by Google) A very good dining experience. It is definitely one of the must-visit restaurants in Perth. The service is cordial and stress-free. The atmosphere of the decorations is also full of texture. The environment is clean, the meals are fresh, and the ingredients and seasoning are creative and full of surprises. Bartending is also unique and full of its own unique charm. Pick an unpopular time and taste it carefully, otherwise this restaurant is really difficult to book. It's a pity that the light is dimmed, and I can't take more stable food photos under low light. Maybe... "Taking a good photo" can be one of the reasons to visit again during the day.

Horrifying service from manager Veronica. Ruined our friends birthday by trying to overcharge us and then using sass to fight against all 8 of us. Felt like High School... will not be reattending until staff is changed thanks! xo

Food was solid overall. Chicken breast dish was meh. Service needs a bit of work - wine glass removed without an offer of a top up, one dish forgotten twice, dishes removed from table before the food was finished. Main server was lovely and gave it her best shot - mainly let down by surrounding floor team. Getting there :)

We came here for a birthday celebration. The venue is noisy but it’s better when people started to leave after half of our dinner. Seafood is fresh and the presentation is nice. Staff could be friendly depending who is serving you. Overall not bad!

Beautiful night an Nobu, the venue itself was stunning and the staff couldnt be faulted at all. The drinks menu had so much to choose and the food was absolutely delicious. The waitstaff were excellent in there recommendations and their suggestions in regards to food were spot on! Very nice evening, thank you...

For people of Perth, Nobu doest need a review. It is THE premier Japanese Omakase restaurant in Perth. Along with the sushi bar and a la carte, Nobu offers traditional dishes with great attention to detail. Rarely do I find nothing imperfect on an 8 course meal but here we are. I highly recommend the Wagyu sizzler, it was out of this world.

Very fortunate to have visited this just prior to the June snap lockdown! The crispy rice with tuna tataki is always a winner for us, as is the black miso cod. The popcorn prawns with yuzu butter and teriyaki skewers were also delicious. And the Nobu version of baklava was unbelievable.

Absolutely fantastic. Finally Managed to get a teppanyaki table and it was well worth the wait. Great food, great service, No wonder it’s booked out so well in advance. Great experience, even the kids teppanyaki menu was full of flavours. Wasabi Awa cocktail a must try. Highly Recommended

This is a well known place. It is fantastic. Me and my partner went and had the teppanyaki. It was an awesome experience and food was out of this world. I would go there as often as I can. The price is worth what you get.

I went with my husband recently for our 10yr anniversary and it was amazing. He hadn't been and was amazed by the food and service. It really is an experience that everyone should have at least once. They even asked part way through the meal if the lunch was a special occasion and we told then our anniversary and dessert came out a the photo, a great personal touch that finished off an amazing meal.

The food was exceptional and the service was one of the best I've ever had. The waiter Andy was especially good, always asking how we were and was always considerate toward my family. The miso cod was delicious, and the sashimi was very fresh. Second time coming the food was so much better, and vibe was amazing. Would recommend for any birthday or any special event. Love it.

Brilliant experience, the dishes were amazing, my favourite would have to be Robert DeNiro’s favourite dish which was the Miso Black Cod, it just melts in your mouth. The service staff were attentive and helpful throughout the evening. Booking needs to be done well in advance (we booked 6 weeks).

Excellent service Hotel setting Delicious food I’m new to the true Japanese food experience and decided to use a gift voucher on treating ourselves to degustation at Nobu and it did not disappoint. There was a steady stream of beautifully presented food that was fresh and delicious. If you can I would highly recommend the degustation to get a wide spread of the menu, most dishes were seafood and many served raw. The highlight of the meal with the finish, Nobu take on tiramisu, the advice was to go right to the bottom of the cup to get all layers and it was like nothing I’ve taste. Coffee and chocolate, mouse and cake and ice cream. The decor is a bit tired and looks like you’re in a hotel there was nothing unique, we did go in the day time so maybe that exposes it all.

The only other time we have had Nobu was in New York, and this experience brought back similar memories. The service was amazing here and the team of waiters/waitresses really looked after us and our kids. The food was great. They have a good mix of traditional Japanese fare i.e. sashimi, nigiri etc but they also have some interesting items such as the Wagyu and Lobster tacos. It has become somewhat of a tradition of ours to order the Black Miso Cod and the Nasu Dengaku at Nobu, and they were as good as we remember them to be. The sashimi was also delicious with the scampi being the highlight, and the miso cappuccino was a delicious way to end the meal. Bear in mind that Nobu is not the most cost effective option for Japanese food in Perth. If you are coming here looking for "good value" - you probably are not in the right place, however it is a great option if you are staying at Crown and wish to treat yourself to a nice meal. We planned this meal far in advance due and included it as part of our 10 year anniversary celebration, so the cost was factored in beforehand.

It’s been a couple of years since I’ve dined at Nobu and Lunch today was extremely disappointing. The food, for the most part, felt like it came out of the kitchen of an overpriced chain restaurant. Classic dishes were disappointing, like the Wagu Tacos (cold meat, plated cheaply) could have come from a backyard Japanese suburban restaurant whereas they used to be a treat when they were served hot and crisp. The Tempura Prawns (heavily fried, soggy batter, and drowned in mayo on a cheap bed of rocket) used to be my absolute favourite but they were an extremely substandard example of the delightful dish they once were. That dish would be at home in the Uber Eats bag from your local Japanese restaurant. Even the plates were not at the standard for the price of the food - white plates had scratches and marks on them and were very old which made the food appear unappealing. The wait staff were amazing - friendly and prompt with service. Cocktails were beautiful and delicious. If you do go, get the Miso pork belly and Jalapeño sashimi. Those two dishes were tasty and up to the expected Nobu standard. In summary, I’ve had many happy meals at Nobu over the years but Nobu hasn’t kept up with the standard of restaurants in Perth, or their own standard for food. Unfortunately this will probably be my last time here because there’s so many other restaurants which can offer a better food experience for the price.

Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Our waiter gave advice on different pairings of mains and even advised us against one of sides we chose with our mains. Food was delicious and freshly made. Huge variety of sushi/sashimi and seafood. Wagyu steak options for those less into seafood.

This is one of our favourite Japanese restaurants. Lunch Bento Box options are great value and you have a choice of protein too - including the Miso Cod. Great selection of drinks and desserts too. Staff are very attentive on all of the many occasions we have been there.

Surprised the wifey with dinner here. We had the Nobu Signature and the Chefs Choice omakase menu. They were both sensational. Ordered the truffle cocktail - was unexpectedly delicious. This was definitely the best culinary experience I’ve had in 2022.

Probably the 8th time I've been to Nobu Perth, the reason being it's a guaranteed wonderful experience. My partner arrived from overseas so I wanted to impress for Christmas eve. We were served by the lovely and experienced Mai Ha (I've probably butchered the spelling worse that the wonderful steak we had) who gave us on-point recommendations for everything from seafood amuse-bouche, to cocktails with a kick. Again, a ridiculously priced bill that I had no compunction paying, 100/100 for the staff there. Thank you

Excellent/Knowledgeable/Attentive Staff! Attention to detail accompanied with delicious delightful well prepared and presented courses. The cocktails were also on point. Well done to today’s team at lunch. Would hundred percent visit again. We will return in February for dinner. Appreciate your time and hospitality Risa & Sam.

A different experience. Delicious and high quality food, very well presented. Though in small portions and a bit pricey (expected). The main downside of our experience was the way our main courses were served. For three dishes for three people we had to wait 75 minutes. It was fine if those dishes came at the same time. But, they came to our table separately let’s say every 20 minutes. Very bizarre.

OMG, that Food was Amazing. I have to say, for someone that "didn't" like Raw Fish, I was blown away at the Quality, Flavour and the Presentation of the Dishes we were Served. The Care and Precision that the Chef's take to produce a Masterpiece every time is absolute Fantastic. The Waiter serving Wine was on the ball, when the Glass was looking Empty, he was there toping it up. The Waiter's that served the Food and there Explanation, was Amazing. So Glad I picked this Restaurant for my Birthday Dinner. Keep up the Great Work.

Standouts were the pepper crusted glacier tooth fish in sticky balsamic sauce, and as always, our favourite miso cappuccino dessert. Just everything you could want in a neat little cup. A mouthful of heaven with each bite!

We had a great time having lunch at Nobu. My favourite was the black cod miso. The wait staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. Would love to go back there for dinner soon!
