Terrible experience. Five faux stars for the nice weather. Saturday afternoon had lunch with our group of 8 family and friends, unfortunately grandma's, daughter’s and my meals were overlooked. Most of the chat at the table was now about the disappointment of not having our lunch all together. The meals only came out after four reminders to the careless waitstaff. No apology was ever offered - in fact more effort was made to avoid the issue as if nothing was wrong. We asked to speak to management who never came. I never asked for money back nor hint for any form of compensation, but a bit of acknowledgement would have been a good outcome. There are many nicer restaurants in the area that will actually show some care - I advise you to consider your options before settling on the Island. Was initially excited to attend and have a family catch up only to be let down with a disappointing cash grab. Very hard to recommend based on our group experience. The five stars are for the setting / location and the fact that times are tough for hospitality.

Best combination of great food, great view and good location! A place to come back. Food has to be ordered inside, but will be served at your table. Food is highest quality and friendly service. Day and night are two reasons to come back, complete different atmosphere. Really perfect.

Delicious pizza and mozzarella sticks were melted just right that gives it a chewy texture. Numerous options of drinks both with and without alcohol. Fast service and warm welcoming staffs. Great place with breathtaking view overlooking Elizabeth Quay. Highly recommend get a reservation beforehand.

A nice venue with a lovely chilled ambiance, suitable for groups, couples and families. Menu has a great variety of food options and the portions are large! Well presented dishes and great tasting. An enjoyable experience by the swan river and twinkling lights. What a great view from the tables seated outside! Love the deco!

NOT RECOMMEND I was so disappointed with the food and service. Firstly, we waited for an hour for our food and when we got served, the food was terrible. When she served our chips her thumb was dipped right into the sauce. Very gross. Secondly, the bartender that was supposed to take our drink order was so rude. I believe her name was Betti or something like that. As soon as we told her we would not be ordering any drinks due to her behaviour and wasting time for food, she glared at us and proceeded to ignore us!!! Also I have noticed that some waitresses and waiters just walk around and doing nothing. Furthermore, I was wondering about another girl in the restaurant who called Martina as I asked one of the waitress. That is unbelievable that someone who works in the restuarant wears high heels and is not coutious about her safety and obviously others. Overall, this was the absolute worse restaurant experience either of us have ever had.

Pretty terrible customer service from this restaurant. Spent lots of money on food there and staff didn't offer us any kind of empathy let alone discount for a mistake they made. For a place that charges $10 for chips I don't think it would lose them much money to try and compensate in a way. Recently went to an Italian place that offered us two free meals because of a small mistake they made, now that's customer service. Won't be back. Used to love going there.

It was the first time in The Island Brew house. Really shocked with the service especially from the girl Ece????? I asked her three times for something and kept ignoring me, walking like a princess. I’m just wondering how the management thinks such a person can be efficient. Her English is very bad as well, cannot even understand what I was asking!!!

Made a booking for a table outside on a Monday night for my partners 21st birthday, When shown to our table it appeared that there was another party sitting at our table, the waitress turned us around and sat us at wine barrel table which is very in comfortable to sit at. After about 20 minutes of trying to straddle a barrel I asked if there was any other place we could sit at seeing I had made the booking days in advance, there were no other tables outside to sit at. I went to the bar to order food I ordered Entree’s and mains I asked for the entrees to come out first as they should do, instead we get all our food at once I asked the waitress why they all come out together and I was told that’s just how they do things even though the table next to us had just finished there entrees and the waiter asked them if they were ready for their main course. So after eating our entrees we got to enjoy a nice cold main course so thank you Island Brew House for ruining what was supposed to be a nice birthday dinner. The worst thing was that we didn’t even get an apology I wouldn’t have even wrote this if I got an apology all I got was a very hostile response. There are so many places to eat at Elizabeth quay go elsewhere and enjoy yourself.

The island has to be set in the best location in Perth, overlooking the Quay and the harbour bridge. It really is the perfect place to come to eat and drink in the city. Positives: 1. Location 2. Extremely quick service 3. Very friendly staff 4. Very good selection of beer. Their IPA is exceptional 5. The outdoor seating is superb Negatives 1. Only one - that is the price. Even given its location, the Island feels very overpriced. It is nice for a special occasion however. Overall 4/5 and I would highly recommend coming at sunset where the views are even more beautiful over the water.

Had a team lunch and I think it was pretty good value. The Wagu beef burger was seriously awesome! Portion sizes are really good. Our serving hostess was very friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. This establishment was also kind enough to do bill splitting which we found really convenient. The team consensus for this place is EXCELLENT. I highly recommend The Island Brew House.

I really enjoyed this beautiful and warm place, with the best view. I ordered a burger, and it was delicious, well presented and quick; the place has good craft beers (for me, the best was the black one). Also, it has a good service, but the only thing that you need to consider is that you need to stand up and order the food in the bar, also bring the drinks to your table, for some people could be a problem, especially if you go with a huge group.

Well, what can one say about The Island. From the moment of walking into the Restaurant through to leaving, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. The atmosphere is incredible. I was in a party of 6 and within minutes of us all being seated, a beautiful Irish Lass, Tyla, served our table with water and glasses, then gave us the menu, and again within minutes took our Order. What was exceptional with Tyler was her professionalism, her alertness and attention to detail, her quickness with taking our Order, and all this with a beaming smile and a cheeky glint in her eyes. She remembered who had what drinks and meal, without having to be told by us. Very quick on her feet, she appeared at one table and within the blink of an eye was serving at another table always with that dimpled smile. My husband and I dine out regularly but have never seen a waitress quite like Tyla before. She is second to none, and deserving of nothing less than bountiful praise. We will certainly be dining there again. The food was plentiful and delicious and the staff very efficient and friendly. They easily earned a 5 Star rating from me. Suzanne Rex

Ordered lunch there today with my partner after a lengthy wait! Lots of staff but no one serving. Finally ordered, my Caesar salad came out ( minus the anchovies which I was looking forward to!)with partially cooked salmon on the side. Waited a good 15 minutes for my partners pizza to get to the table so we could eat together! Had to go back inside and get someone’s attention to ask the question, hadn’t even started making it! Place looks good but that’s about it. Won’t be going back. Asked for my money back for the pizza and was reluctantly refunded.

Another great little food experience option in Perth City and this one has some history. Generally a busy venue, especially on a fine day. Lots of seating outside and some inside. Lots of drink options and food is good quality.

Beautiful views, great food menu, I don’t drink beer but I do love gin and their gin selection is good. Fantastic cocktails! The outdoor seating is quite nice & cozy in the winter with all of the heaters. The views of the water and cityscape at night are fantastic.

The restaurant has a great vibe and scenic views of Elizabeth Quay. The staff provided great and friendly service. The food and drinks were great and not overpriced considering the location, i must say! The food was served relatively quickly and tasted delicious. I would recommend getting a table outside ... In summary: Picked this spot as a wonderful and peaceful vibe with good food and plenty of sunshine ...

We had a a beer tasting board each so got to try several of their own beers, all were good but we particularly liked the red one. The pizza and burger were really good too, the service was efficient and the staff helpful and friendly. Both the inside and outside seating areas were comfortable, with heaters outside which made it just right for sitting outside to eat.

GREAT ATMOSPHERE! We stopped in for a quick drink and ended up staying for over an hour, enjoying the atmosphere and live music. It's recommended to reserve a table - we were lucky that they had 2 left for us. You can sit in or out and they have a playground for the kids. Outside is a variety of tables including wooden beer barrels to die at. We had the Shiraz (good choice) and a strawberry and banana smoothie. The smoothie is made on soy milk, so if you don't like the unique taste, ask for normal milk. Great for casual get togethers, small groups, couples of any age and birthdays. Overlooking the water, and surrounded by natural greenery, it's lovely and cool and not too noisy. Highly recommended.

I went to The Island Brew House, found the venue extremely loud. I don't like the upgrade with the bar in the middle of the restaurant. Plus no point to pay for meals, chased the staff around to pay. Overall disappointing as loved this restaurant before.

A well located restaurant for those visiting Elizabeth Quay. The restaurant is kids friendly and there is even a playground right beside the establishment. We tried the beef brisket tacos, fresh oysters and the prawn pizza and all well worth the money. Recommended.

We did a group lunch here on Friday. Great outdoor seating area with umbrellas for shade. Service was good, QR code ordering is efficient. Food was mainly on par although beef ribs serving was very small for a $45 mains. Literally one rib per plate (two of us ordered the ribs, both got one rib each). Had to order more sides to fill up.

Recently walked in here for dinner on a busy night but were afforded a nice table out the back. The place was pumping with a great vibe and the water misters on the patio were a welcome relief on a very warm night! We had a couple of the pizzas which were delicious and very big! The drinks selection is great - very large and something for everyone. Really loved the vibe here, tucked away with the foliage starting to provide a little bit of seclusion from the bustling Quay area. Will return!

Love, love, love this place. It’s been my fave Perth pub for a while, great drinks, amazing pizzas, staff that care from start to finish. Can’t rate it high enough. 2 adults, 4 kids (ages 8-14). Amazing food, great kids food - and we’ve tried them all - and great staff. Go table 202 for the low-rise bench seats with a view. ;) Whether I come here after work or bring the kids for a day on the boat it’s 100% my go-to every time.

Recently attended a function at The Island Brew House and it was exceptional. From the organisation of the event coordinator to the servers & bartenders the staff were very helpful and attentive. Top notch beers, service and food. Great location in the heart of Elizabeth Quay! Adjacent to playground, very family friendly. We love it. Special mention in terms of service though, everyone with a genuine smile, great conversations at the bar. Service like this is very hard to come by nowadays.

A very beautiful restaurant with multiple food options! We visited here for a third times and really love to comeback again. The staff were very friendly with a smiling face. We brought our birthday cake and the staff was very helpful to keep it in the fridge and served the cake in a very professional way. I love the chicken wings sauce, it’s very special for me. We took many photos as there’s a very nice and classy atmosphere. Would recommend to celebrate your special day or having a meal with your friends and family here! Thanks for the staffs again and a very delicious food❤️

I didn't have a good experience this day. The waitress took the order without noting anything, just trying to memorize in her mind. What happened? After a while she came back and asked again what we would like to have for dinner. For sure she forgot to take the order the first time. After a long time the food came, but the chicken burger wasn't too appetizing...

Great venue to have a meal or drinks or both. Location is gorgeous. Menu has lots to choose from and the prices are very reasonable. The food was brought out in a timely manner and was cooked fresh, hot and tasty. The haloumi burger was so tasty and the fries nice and crisp. The cocktail menu was great and varied prices were what you would expect approx $20.00 for a cocktail.

We went for the first time on Saturday night to celebrate our twins Birthdays. The atmosphere and music was on point, and even though we were sat near the door it wasn't a problem for us. When asked for recommendations on drinks and food, our waiter was knowledgeable, and easy to talk to, we went with his recommendations and were not disappointed. He even kept the fact that our son secretly paid the bill a secret and seemed to enjoy telling us that the bill had been settled when my husband went to pay! He even came out from the kitchen to see us off. It is hard to get decent service these days, so to find someone who went above and beyond was so refreshing. The food was amazing with everyone thoroughly enjoying their meals. We definitely enjoyed our night and will DEFINITELY be back. I will even recommend having our next work function there. Thank you, Island Brew!

There’s a sign at the entrance saying wait to be seated but nobody came to greet us so we wandered around, found a table for ourselves and then ordered with the QR code. Lovely little venue in a nice spot. They’ve got heaters for the cold, sprays for the hot and umbrellas for the rain so good for any weather. Pizza was good but could probably up the quality of presentation. It’s served on a beaten and scratched tin plate covered with baking paper. Drinks were disappointing. Initially served us the strawberry milkshake rather than the smoothie but relatively quickly amended this. What we saw of the strawberry milkshake wasn’t great though and could have done with a bit more in the glass, maybe some fruit or cream to top it. Smoothie we had ordered tasted a bit chalky, we saw it had soy milk in it but was hoping that would be to round out the flavour rather than overpower the flavour of the strawberry and banana. Maybe make them more traditionally with a blender, ice and fruit? Despite this, I’d still gladly come back here for a beer on a sunny day.

Had the grilled salmon for lunch, significantly under cooked and salsa very sweet, but it was the under cooked seafood that put me off. Staff were nice and beers are pretty good, could be colder but personal preference I guess. Ask for indoor seating on hot days as too hot under cover outside.

We ordered the octopus, kids margherita pizza and the wagyu burger. I loved the flavours of the octopus although the cook might be a tad over. The wagyu burger was alright, nothing to shout about. The fries were really good, crispy on the outside and soft inside. Margherita pizza was delicious, the kids one is adequate for us, the normal sized one would have been too much. Very friendly and helpful servers. Lots of families as its got a playground next to it.

Fantastic spot for a catch-up with friends. Good service, great food, and an excellent selection of beers, wines and cocktails. Awesome place for a classy drink & feed. Very picturesque amongst the middle of Elizabeth Quay. Great food, great drink selection, my wife loved the Espresso Martini on tap👌 Happily return again as the location & setting is quite classy. The loaded Nachos seemed quite popular amongst other diners, kind of wish we had of tried it too but we were so full from our garlic pizza, pizza, poke bowls & steaks.

Restaurant a beautiful historical building with great view. Food is average but the chips are too salty. However, I would recommend the pizza, battered fish and the fried chicken. Wagyu burger is too dry. Building itself is not air-conditioned which can get hot in summer even with the fans. Outdoor has a misting system.

Two mum's with two toddlers enjoyed a beautiful dinner on Valentine's day. The staff were all very accommodating to our needs and very patient with our kids. Came here with someone for lunch and had some share plates. Lovely little setting and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We particularly enjoyed the fried cauliflower with pomegranate, za'atar, and golden raisin puree. We also tried the market fish crudo and Miguel's tacos. The market fish crudo had a fairly subtle but pleasant flavour, and the beef in the tacos was tender and lovely. The other food I saw looked great too, I wish I was in Perth longer so I could come back again!

Came here for some drinks and lunch. When we arrived the place had an overwhelming smell of fish - it was a hot day so perhaps that contributed. We ordered sirloin and salmon, and both were quite overcooked. The place gets 3 stars mainly due to the location and the service staff were attentive. I likely wouldn't come here again.

Australia Day lunch at the Island Brew House was absolutely delicious, we had the seaboard share board and the selection was amazing. Beautiful moist soft oysters, a flavour bomb snapper ceviche that set your mouth singing was complimented by the perfectly pickled octopus, soft with no hint of rubberiness and a clean mouth feel made them a delight. The salt and pepper squid was crisp on the outside but so amazingly soft inside, the fillet was juicy with a thin crisp batter that crumbled on the tongue. The sourdough bread was crisply toasted and with the marie rose sauce used as jam, was truly excellent. The only slight down was the prawns were a tad overcooked and too firm to be in the company of the rest of this fantastic produce

Delicious Wagyu Beef Burger and good selection of drinks.. recommended because of beautiful city views. Splendid sunset views.
