Very bad experience. They take forever to get the order. We were patient because it was a busy day but then 30 minutes later, they get us the wrong order. We ask a server about the order, he does not come back to us, simply ignores it. They dont have proper Ventilation so its like a smoke box with constant barbeque smoke inside. They dont have proper Air Conditioning and hence its hot and humid. And this place is not cheap, its on the expensive side of Korean BBQs. Overall: no need to visit. There are plenty options which are better in taste and service.

It’s will make you stinky here cause there’s no range hood. And the meal looks really great and beautiful. But most of it is burned… tasted bitter and salty.The kimchi cake tasted like Takoyaki 🤣 I don’t know why hahaha. The funny thing was when I asked waitress what’s this meal. She just said “umm…I don’t know… maybe you order those?” Sorry? you don’t even know your meal??🤣 The reason I give this restaurant 3 stars is because my friend doesn’t know English much. The waiter was so patiently and friendly explained to him the meal. 😊

Went in for a lunch with the fork 30% discount offer. We had dolsot bibimbap with beef & Soft tofu stew with seafood. Food was decent & good value especially with the fork discount. We’d probably be back to try other menu via their daily lunch specials since they have the rotating daily specials + the usual lunch special menus Overall, satisfied with the dining experience

Wow! What a delicious dinner. Instantly saw on the menu the Premium Set and ordered that, great value for money and a heap of food. There is nothing like cooking your food on coal whilst having a drink with your partner. This place is a definite must go to and you will not be disappointed. I'm visiting from England and walked by this place on one of my walks and saw delicious food through the window, I swore I'd come back for it and here I am 2 and a half weeks have passed and today I finally tried it. And I wasn't disappointed. I got the dish I saw which was the honey chicken and then some other dishes to pair with it topped with tasty soju. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, checked on us and were amazing services wise. I'd honestly eat here again if I ever return. 🥰

Well it was not a good experience this evening, a lot of things were not available on the menu. Order the set menu, awful cuts of meat and for that price thought there would be more. Had a big group 2 bbq's would of been great, only 1 hot plate was working so we all squashed on 1 table, and upstair had a lot more space. Suggestions when people call up tell them what's no available, my family love seafood. And make sure all your equipment is functioning! The staff were nice, but come on guys! And to top it all off now sitting my gut is not feeling well, instantly went to the bathroom after the meal. Will never ever return, not sorry

Absolutely amazing food! Got the premium platter for 2 and it could have easily fed 2 adults and 2 young kids. The value of what we got was pretty damn good. Staff were also really helpful educating us on what we meant to do. Sort of a new experience for us. 10/10

Worst experience ever, you guys should really update your info on google, rang like 10 times no one answer, and when we finally made it , took our time decided we want hotpot and was told you dont have hotpot?! after that we order beef bone soup and guess what, they were sold out as well( at 7:30 pm on Sat night) Would be nice if we were told when we walk in or have note on the menu. Eventually when my wife had finished eating they told us it would be another 5 minutes. 10 minutes later they said another 15 minutes. Eventually we had to go and we told them to leave it. The only Korean restaurant around the world that does not offer any free refill on side dishes. ie kimchi. Charging $64.00 for a mere 350g of sliced beef. The steamed rice leaves much to be desired, bearing an uncanny resemblance to the three-day-old leftovers sitting in my fridge. This table-cook restaurant notably lacks exhaust fans, resulting in an overall greasy ambiance. The wait times are exorbitantly long; after waiting patiently for 45 minutes, I had to personally approach a staff member to inquire about my order's status.

Just chanced upon this restaurant while enjoying the Christmas lights. Remember they close at 9:30pm! Food was tasty and good. We tried the spicy honey chicken popcorn, dumpling soup and Jambong (seafood noodle) soup. They supplied cold water. Food was bit costly, but kind of expected that in the city centre. Unfortunately, the restaurant was too hot and air conditioning was not effective. Overall, decent food and experience.

Solid Korean bbq restaurant in a great location in central Perth. Popcorn chicken entree was excellent. We went for a 600g 3 meat combo with sauces, soup and salads. Was pretty good. We choose to have the staff cook our meal but you can do it yourself at the table.

I was very disappointed in the flavours, or the lack of. Infact the whole representation was off. The idea of Korean BBQ excites the palate for freshness, textures, flavours, variety, boldness. There are so many things in our experience at Arirang, that were lacking or just non-existant. Just because your lettuce is crisp, does not mean your food is fresh. I do appreciate the attentiveness of the staff, however it does not make up for poor quality and shop bought flavours.

Was expecting to have some korean bbq not korean boilecue. the meat was boiled not bbqd that's the only thing that ruined the experience service was ok. Some context we were informed that we couldn't cook the meat ourselves,they would have to cook them in the kitchen.

I had bibimbap and YUKGAEJANG. Bibimbap wasn't really nice. We felt that it has not enough flavor such as sesame oil, no seasoning. Soup was better then bibimbap. Not really authentic place to eat korean food.

The Quality not meet the Price

The seafood hotpot turned out to be a vege hotpot. In the large shared pan, we had to dig around to find 2 prawns, a few bits of squid and 4 mussels in shovelfuls of grated carrot, onion etc.

Terrible service. We waited for 50mins after we ordered while there’s only a few customers and way too many staffs in the restaurant. That’s unbelievable. And the attitude of the waitress was bad. The taste of the food is just average.... maybe can’t even reach the average. In a word, don’t go there..... joke place, they should learn how to spell “efficiency”.

Arirang was a perfect choice for our small group (5 people) dinner. Everything was delicious and designed to share with friends. We went with a couple of BBQ plates, street food and hotpot. We couldn’t fault the food and there was certainly no shortage. It came out reasonably promptly. Would definitely go back next time I’m in town.

We always come here every now and then, and had good time. However I noticed the staff keeps having chitchats while working, talking loudly rather than being attentive to a customer who is waiting to serve.

We ordered soy bean paste stew and the fried chicken platter to share. The stew was quite good and sizzling hot. HOWEVER, the fried chicken platter was rather disappointing. The honey soy fried chicken was merely warm. The rice cakes were undercooked. And fried dumplings were cold. The staff here was a bit slack. The waitress took one of our water glass and the jug away when I went to the toilet, WHILE my sister was still sitting at the table. 🤨

This was my first time having Korean and it most certainly was an amazing experience. The staff were incredibly kind and proficient at serving us and cleaning tables. It was honestly faster than most fast food places, and cheaper too (although we didn't have very big meals). I even managed to eat my meal with chopsticks, which was a very new experience for me! I would 100% recommend Arirang if you want to try a Korean BBQ or you're just looking for something a little different and want to expand your cultural food boundaries!

The lunch menu is very limited, and it's $3 extra for your basic Korean side dishes. Bulgolgi was very sweet. Portion sizes were good for the $10 lunch special, they do give you a lot of rice. Overall I wouldn't be back for lunch, there are better Korean restaurants on the same street. Dinner seems like a very different experience based on other reviews.

We had our first Korean BBQ experience here. The staff were extremely nice and supportive. The food was really delicious and we loved the vibe. Parking could be found in a secure underground carpark closer to the restaurant.

Food for lunch was a hit and a miss. My Chilli Pork was excellent, but friend's Bugolgi was way too sweet! It was so sweet that my friend didn't finish it and left it. Which is very disappointing. Also the restaurant needs to improve on its ventilation. Whilst in Perth, we stumbled across this Korean bbq restaurant and were very happy with our find! They had very kind staff and the restaurant while it looked small on the outside was very spacious inside and had two whole seperate seating areas! All the of food was very delicious and was such a fun experience!

When ordering, I was told the choices posted on the door was not available and only a smaller menu was available with a holiday surcharge. No worries. Ordered two dishes; however the serving time between the two was over 40 minutes. By the time the second dish arrived, the chicken was completely cold and stiff. When I asked the waitress to check after waiting for 30 minutes, I was told the chef was just going to start my second dish. I was assured that it has been raised to the manager, who never came.

Amazing dine-in dinner with great service from the staffs. Sari took my orders and she provided best in class service with food recommendation when she wanted us to be just right. We din want to take beef and she agreed to speak to the kitchen to have one of the soup to be vegetarian with bean paste stock. Overall, we had a very good dinner.

If you looking for easy straight forward lunch, Not too pricy and taste okay and very filling this is good place to start with. Staff are attentive to your needs and very friendly, Service is fast and efficient. accessible and no need to wait around even in busy time as the place has both top and bottom areas to accommodate you or your groups.

Have been visiting this restaurant for many years though haven’t been here since the pandemic. Definitely going downhill. Wondering why it’s still full house during lunch. It’s ok for a meal, but not recommended if you want Korean food.

We were still confused after the waitress explained the menu. The soup they served was warm but not hot and it doesn't taste good. The side dishes amount they gave was poor. We ordered BBQ and the waitress said the kitchen could cook for us and we agreed. All the meat comes quickly and tastes like reheated dishes. Marinated meat was too salty. I will not come again as there are many more Korean restaurants that have better quality, service and prices.
