We recently stayed at the Adina and I have to say we were thoroughly disappointed with the room we were allocated. The hotel was fully booked and I feel as though the room we were given shouldn't of been offered to guests. It smelled like dank , musty cigarette which we could still smell on our clothes in our suitcases when we got home, there was visible dust on the TV cabinet, and on the first night, our air conditioner didn't work. The next morning the Manager (who was quick to respond to our request) came up to our room to inspect and kicked the unit to get it working again. At least it worked. Not only was the hotel in bad shape, but the city too. There is a TAB just downstairs from the accommodation which attracts the wrong types of people. My son (age 7) dodged a bicycle being thrown in his direction from one of the TAB patrons who was yelling and swearing at another patron, they were about to get into a physical altercation. We crossed the road very quickly! We felt very unsafe. The city is housing many who are doing it tough and sleeping rough and on my morning walk, all I could smell was human urine. I won't be staying at this hotel or in the CBD for some time after this experience.

Very disappointing; first impression is poor with dirty external entrance, no parking available, rooms are dark, dated and had a musty smell, and the street is a bit sketchy with the odd drug user, sex and massage shops adjacent. There are many better options in Perth, I would only stay here again if no other option or it was too cheap to ignore. Only saving grace is large rooms

Before I start, the staff is very helpful and kind, including the manager. 5 starts on them. Location is fantastic. I went to Pert for work and I was supposed to be in this apartment two full weeks but I had to cancel it after 4 nights. I wasn't very lucky with my room located in level 7. Just coming out from the lift, there is a rancid odour in the corridor. Inside the room this odour was even worse. I told the reception about the issue and I have to recognise they took this matter seriously. They tried to fix the odour spraying some product around the corridor and in the room. The issue was temporarily fixed but a few hours later the odour was back. I don't know if it comes from the carpet, aircon system or furniture. A colleague from work had his room in level 2 and when I visited him the corridor and his room didn't smell at all. He came to level 7 and very quickly he noticed the rancid odour. Regarding the room itself. The apartment is quite big, plenty of room. All the furniture is quite oudated. Bed was ok. Bathroom ok. Kitchen us equipped with everything you need. Cutlery, crockery and glassware only for two people. There is a small gym with some basic equipment, swimming pool and sauna.

The room is dirty and the housekeeping is bad. The room is dated. If you are driving, bad news. You might need to park your car away from the hotel because the hotel does not have enough parking lots for their guests. The only positive is the location. There's a Woolsworth right opposite the hotel and several good eating spots within 5 minutes walking distance.

Its alright i guess. The showers are fused with the bathtub which for me is akward in some ways The cleaning service is nice. They clean everytime I leave the building. Overall 9.6/10 Would like to see future improvements 👍

Staff are completely incapable of dealing with a fire alarm at 2am. Unable to say why its going off, confirming its not the building but refusing to turn it off after 40 minutes.

If i can give this minus a star i would love to, beacause not only they are not clear about location, they mislead people who do not know the area and this place is a rabbit whole. I do not recommed spending any if ur precious time here it looks a hook up place so unless u looking for that do not come here. Do not let the decent looking reception mislead you

Very dated hotel with pungent odour throughout reception, lifts and floor corridors. Inadequate parking with no support from management, who failed to actually action my parking booking request, forcing me to park almost a kilometre away in a train station carpark. Most staff speak very broken English and do not understand the most basic of requests. Most times these fell on deaf ears. My bathroom contains a nice dosage of black mould in the grouting and even a couple silverfish for good measure. Floor is uneven, carpet is old and peeling. Washing machine is mouldy and doesn’t look like it’s had a drum clean ever. Disappointing for a mid-work trip stay where I needed to use it. Outside noise is unbearable at times, continuing at all hours. Plenty of undesirables wandering the street, so if you do venture out keep your eyes peeled. Will not stay and again, and definitely not deserving of 4 stars.

What a great place to stay! Location is central to everything Perth city has to offer, with easy access to public transport if you want to get out to the suburbs etc. Our 2 bedroom apartment was large, clean, comfortable, and had all of the amenities of home, with a few bonuses like the gym and awesome swimming pool! All of the staff were absolutely amazing! Friendly, courteous, and professional, they went above and beyond to assist us with every requirement and were extremely helpful with their knowledge of the local area for shopping, restaurants, etc. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay whilst in Perth!

Nice place, clean rooms. They only have limited parking....not one for every room so plan ahead. Unfortunately the location is a bit on the trashy side.....lots of homeless and vagrants outside

the night staff were sincerely awful. despite booking a car park (2 actually) and several rooms for a larger party of work colleagues we were treated abysmally. This is the second awful experience. The last thing a person needs after a long days work is a rude and arrogant desk person -making that his moment to shine- to create any possible obstacle between you and your pre booked and paid for room and car space. no-one in our party will ever be staying here again. two chances two fails. sincerely...don't waste your accomodation budget you can definitely do better. They desperately need new management and a Hr dept that can actually choose staff. cautionary tales !!!

4 stars only in the sky Dated hotel the only aspect of interest is the very central location. The cleanliness tends to be desired; although here it is winter the heat inverters are destroyed and the engines rusty, so non-existent operation with temperature block on 24 degrees to which they do not reach. The upper floors are for long periods, while for those who stay two or three days, at most they give you a fourth floor on the street and above the gym and the pool with consequent disturbance. A group of boys staying on our floor on Friday night did not allow us to rest. They changed our room at 23 at the request of my wife. In this room the inverter worked and was hot. The staff?. When you question them they have and always find a justification. Absolutely not to be considered given the old man and the poor equipment of the kitchen. During our stay they painted the walls of our floor and forgot to redo the room. A few meters away they stop and find homeless bed that further lapses the interest in the hotel.

Clean, comfortable and well-equipped with essential items in the rooms, including tea and coffee making facilities. Located in Perth CBD, close to retailers (e.g Woolworths, Coles etc), shopping malls, restaurants and cafes, plus close to Perth attractions e.g Hay Street, London Court etc. We experienced pleasant concierge services from their helpful staffs.

Love this hotel. Use it often. Excellent rooms. Fully equipped. Could easily live there as it has everything you need. Staff are wonderful. One even remembers me and welcomes me by name. Great location. Around the corner from the Perth city centre. Great hotel. Thank you.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it. The hallway leading to my room had an overwhelming odor of fish, which was extremely off-putting, and why the hell was the floor lumpy? The overall condition of the hotel was poor - it was old, outdated, and lacked basic maintenance. The rooms were unclean and moldy, creating a very unhealthy and unpleasant atmosphere. The staff were nice but clearly the management has given up. I was very disappointed with my stay and would not choose to return to this hotel.

The apartment has a kitchen which is a very big advantage and the services and rooms are really good. I would refer this apartment to anyone who wants to cook their own food and it has got a washing machine and drier as well which saves additional cost to laundry. I really loved this place!🥰😍. Of course it's a little costly.

I would only recommend this place for its location, but at night going out in that area you don’t feel safe. The beds all need replacing, some had mattress protectors, some didn’t. Two single beds together does not mean it’s a king bed, so uncomfortable.

place is clean and well-equipped. Best (unexpected)thing: a full-size dishwasher, with washing tablets provided.

Very nice place to stay. Lovely friendly staff and suites are great. Very close to main attractions - Hay St mall Elizabeth Quay, main station etc. And the free CAT buses are great - from nearby outside the door to anywhere in the city

Location is amazing and staff helpful. Rooms are very tired and in desperate need of renovation. A strange smell was present in the corridor and the rooms could be cleaner.

Perfectly clean and staff helpful. Rooms rather tired. Location convenient for CBD, but amongst a number of empty or boarded up units.

Great place to stay for the weekend, right in the center of the city, great staff, clean rooms and you can also park your vehicle, no complaints.

Really not happy with the hotel! For the price it’s truly not up to the standards. Rooms are dirty, there’s a foul smell in each room, bed had dust and stains on the sheets & smelt really bad! The furniture was dirty & everything was outdated except for the microwave and fridge. Being in a prime location, the hotel management needs to maintain the place, fix things and change the furniture. There’s rust & mould in the bathrooms and it’s filthy! Even the carpets are dirty! Can’t really expect much from the housekeeping team as they aren’t trained well to clean such outdated rooms. The staff is nice & helpful but there is only so much they can do as I’m sure they also feel helpless with the way the hotel is maintained. Only reason we stayed there was because of the location and access to most places in Perth city.

The apartment was clean and practical. Serviced daily to a great standard. Kitchen and laundry contained all we needed for 4 days. Recommendation includes providing a more comfortable lounge suite and smart TV. Carpark is tricky for a large vehicle and our access card played up on the last day. Staff quick to remedy.

We have stayed here four times and have just finished another long term stay. The staff are so friendly and helpful. On one trip my wife had left her phone on a train and they were so helpful in helping her until I came back from my own excursion. We often stay in one bedroom apartments - love the convenience of eating out or in depending on how we feel - Woolworths is close and Coles not far away A few times we have even had our room upgraded, and this time was no exception. A great corner apartment with heaps of room. It's neatly appointed and clean, with large bed and TV in bedroom and living room. Bathroom is clean and shower good. We love the location as basically it is in the shopping district. The train station is close and great access to free Cat Bus services. Hotel has a pool and gym. A great place to stay and will be back.

Staff were really nice and the location is great. Apartment itself is quite old and outdated. Didn't have the greatest view either. Limited parking available for an extra $30. Would not recommend taking a bigger car up the driveway to park, unless you really rate your driving skills then go for it 😊.

My gf and I stayed here and it was disgusting. Deceiving photos. Smell of curry from Indian restaurant. Restaurant and hotel Staff are rude. Carpark had cockroaches everywhere. There is a filthy hookah club in this hotel and we complained about the smoke and noise coming onto our balcony, asked to be moved THEY DID NOTHING. The music was loud until 130am. Worst hotel experience ever. To make it worse the next morning our entire apartment smelt like curry and Indian food from the restaurant downstairs. Area is full on junkies and teenagers from the hookah bar. Stay clear

The Adina Apartment Hotel Perth popped up in search for where to stay in the CBD. First of all, there was a lot of choice and then there was the location itself perfect for many eating and drinking places in the City. We chose the 1 bedroom apartment and thought the price was reasonable for a whole apartment. Then when we arrived at the hotel, the check in staff were very helpful and informed us we had been given an upgrade to a Premier one bedroomed apt, with City views. A lovely surprise and we mentioned it was Samantha's birthday. So we went up to the room and were very impressed by a clean and very spacious apartment. Then there was a knock at the door and the Receptionist had brought Samantha some chocolates and a birthday card. How amazing is that? All the staff the we met were very friendly and helpful and I would like to let management know, they are an asset to you. We will definately be staying again, thank you. ps..... Grand Lane Fish and Chips is directly across the road and they are consistently the best fish and chips in Perth.

We paid close to $650 for a grand room, which was supposedly the best room in the building. Dated, tired, unclean rooms, with unhelpful staff members. For $650 you would expect the rooms to feel clean, and to have some decent customer service. I would avoid this place and stay somewhere nicer like Fraser Suites or Crown where you can get a much nicer experience and room for the price you pay. Disappointment is an understatement…

  • 2/5 Jeff N. 1 year ago on Google
Very dated but very high prices. Smells weird in the corridors and in the room. Furniture maybe 15 years old or more. Random amounts of cutlery plates and glasses like they got lost or broken and not replaced. Amazing that they can charge more than $300 a night to be honest.

Hotel lacks cleanliness and smells musty. Staff were very rude and unprofessional to us from the moment we walked in the door, we definitely won't be booking here again there are much better options in perth

  • 2/5 Yvonne B. 1 year ago on Google
Very disappointed that you could only pay by credit card and then charged a fee because you paid by credit card. Also you were charged a bond of $100. Fee for using the carpark was too high.
