This place is absolutely shocking, it’s worse than a hostel and twice the price! Shared bathrooms, the door is made out of cardboard, the room is like a dingy prison cell - we tried to get a refund and go somewhere else but they refused! There are cockroaches everywhere! They also charged us 25 dollars for a early check in! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Nightmare If you want having experience of Hotel Hall. It would be a great choose. When I arrived in this “hotel”, I realized my room having a HOLE. Are you serious? They allow the guests move in the room with a BIG HOLE. People can see in the room from outside. It said private bathroom when I made the appointment, and it came out shared bathroom. It is a cheat. Bathroom is messy and the toilet is loose. You cannot even put the toilet board straight. The smell of the room is bad and soggy. The towel is dirty. I will never use the towel they provided. The wall has 2 holes and guesses what they cover it. They put tissue inside the hole. Of course, the sheet in the bed is dirty as well. I booked for 3 night and escaped before the last night. It is a room with not safe and not clean totally. Once again, if you want to be Gordon Ramsay. Try this place.

The cheapest Room is fantastic value when you can get it for around $40-$50 a night on bookings.com but the other rooms are over priced. One room was FULL of mosquitoes as the room had a window with louvers that didn't close properly. There was a fridge but no way to plug it in as there were no extension cords and it couldn't be moved. There is no staff on the premises so you can't speak to anyone if you have any issues. Bring your own towels and toiletries as they only provide you with ONE towel and they don't supply shampoo, soap, conditioner etc.

Terrible customer service. Had to call to cancel my booking due to covid restrictions in WA. I called 5 times on different days and different times in the month leading up to my travel date, left a voicemail on each attempt and never received a call back. Contacted Expedia to try and contact the hotel and they couldn't even get in contact with the business on multiple attempts. They refused to refund me my money despite the 72hr cancellation policy. $180 I'll never get back. Happy to remove my review if my money is refunded.

First, very hard to communicate with staff, there is no one on the property. They just ignored me when I made complaints. Second, the pictures on the website and real room are so different. The room was so dirty and the furniture was broken. Stained on towels, hairs, marks on the shower. The pictures are fake. Third, there was some kind of insects in the room, went to GP and the doctor said it's bedbugs. I had to dump all my clothes just in case I bring the bugs to other places. There was no compensation for bedbug bites and any expenses on GP and clothes. Please people, don't just pick because it's cheap, you will regret choosing this place. It was the worst hotel experience in my life.

Fantastic bohemian styled self service hotel. Rooms was clean as well as bathroom bed was very comfortable. Self service coffee.. for the morning. Air con works great and fan to accommodate the room..

Not exactly what I was hoping for.. there's no reception. it's a self serve type hotel. The room I stayed in was a little run down . The bathroom has issues. The tap was falling off. The exhaust fan was falling off. there was no smoke alarm. The TV wall bracket looks as if it will fall off also. The bed wasn't that comfortable, plus pulling back the sheet, there were human hairs other than mine in the sheets. The doors don't have rubber seals, so everyone's door slams shut so loud and echoes through the hallway. I won't be staying here again.

I thought the room was ok, but found bed bugs on my last night (stayed 4 nights). I even caught one and left it in a bottle for them. The hotel said they would check but I haven’t heard back yet. It was too late to change hotels so I checked the sheets etc for myself. I wish I hadn’t. The mattress had stains on it that I don’t want to think about. Free coffee and tea were provided, but there were no cups to put them in for a couple of days.

Management should be embarrassed. Very poorly run establishment. The building is FREEZING cold. There's one thermostat for the whole building at the front door and it's broken so the heat never comes on. Toilet seat in the bathroom is broken. Lamps in the room were missing lightbulbs. TV in the room is broken. Ceiling fan in the room is broken. Poorly stocked kitchen. The WiFi is functional.

To be honest, the place is not as bad as many reviews that I read... Just be sure to get an ensuite if you want one, or you'll just get a room with the basics: tv and wardrobe. Otherwise, rooms are clean, common areas are clean, cleaner coming every day, parking is 3P, no big deal! Management was available every time I needed them. I found that every single occupants were really respectful, not noisy at all! The only downsides are the Wi-Fi can get really slow in the evening, can't smoke in the patio area and can't cook there as there is no proper kitchen.

The worst place I’ve stayed in! The location is good, but the place itself is such a waste of time! PLEASE DONT BOOK IN! first, I noticed that the door of my room was open and I realized it needs to be fixed then I found rubbish around the room, on and behind the closet, under the bed, in the shower and NO TOILET PAPER!! When I was ready for bed, I noticed that the bedsheets wasn’t clean, hair and stains, obscene words (Sl*t) on the side table and on the wall. Also, there was a couple arguing so loud, the man was really really upset!. I called the receptionist immediately to explain what I found around the room which he suggested me to send an email complaining about the dirt around the room. After two hours, a man came to my room with 2 toilet papers saying he was the manager and offered me an extra night. Next morning I received a phone call from the receptionist saying I have to leave the room otherwise I was going to be charged for a late check out. He added saying that the person who came with the toilet papers, was not the manager! After a phone arguing, the receptionist gave me 10 minutes to pack everything down, take a shower and leave….. 10 minutes! He ended up saying: I’m going to call the police because you are not cooperating….. That’s really disappointing, annoying, frustrating! Worst experience, no solutions at all! And now I don’t know if I’m going to have a refund or even the 100-dollar bond!!

Worst place I have ever stayed at. Poor customer service. They say there overseas. Tv remote and ceiling fan remote didn’t work, said they were going to send someone out to repair but never did the whole week I was there. Can hear people snoring in the other rooms. Place is absolutely freezing. Lied about having a fridge in my room had to used a shared fridge. Place was disgusting. They say private bathroom but there’s nothing private about it. Giving people the kitchen door code which was the same code as my room. Never again.

HORRIBLE!! Don’t recommend this place to anyone. My partner and I came here for a short stay from Melbourne and had such a terrible experience. The code lock in the room is so glitchy, we had to try for 15 minutes on the first and second day to get it to work. The toilets don’t work 95% of the time and no one answers the phone. We spent one whole night not being able to go to the toilet. The staff(god knows where they are) are so terrible(0 customer service) are so unhelpful. This place deserves .5 stars only because it’s about 1.5ks from the cbd.

If I could give this a .5 star, I would. We got a room with a seperate bathroom which was private. On all the days we stayed here, the bathroom kept malfunctioning. We got no assistance from any of the staff and most of the times they are not rechable. I would highly recommend not staying here.

It wasn't what I paid for, small dark room with not toilet or shower facility, it was supposed to be shared with others. I left the place and requested my money back, no one ever got back to me. I booked through Agoda, never again.

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels in Perth Western Australia that you will ever experience! The staff was extremely friendly! Note, this is not a 5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so special. All respect for everyone - they all do a great job here; a true sample of Excellent Hospitality!

Stayed at City Quarters on Brewer for a business trip. Found it very convenient and easy to access specially after hours. The room was very well presented clean and tidy. Location was excellent right on the CBD fringe and walking distance to all popular entertainment and precincts. I would definitely recommend for holiday, business or leisure.

If I could, this would be a minus 1 star. Pictures on website all a lie. Worst place I have ever stayed. Aircon not working in 38 degree heat. Other guests complained about it the previous day and everyone told that it has been fixed - clearly not. Place falling apart, dirty and paint blistering off walls. No hangers in cupboards or any irons, hairdryers etc non existent. Bedding absolutely shocking - dirty with lumpy thin pillows to top it off. At least they left bug spray in the rooms for the cockroaches. I have never felt the urge to leave a bad review prior to this hotel. But from the start with the blinds hanging off the window, aircon not working properly and the floor having cracked floorboards that could break at any time , I felt that this had to be put out there.
