The family that run this cafe are all about protection and isn’t that what the Germans are all about? They make their own fresh fruit juice daily. They seem to have a combination of fruits, vegetables and ginger. I had a beetroot and something wth ginger. It was very refreshing, just the kick I was after in the middle of the day. I had the currywurst for lunch. It was cooked to protection. The outside was slightly crispy, I personally could have had it crispier but that’s my preference. Inside the meat was juicy and tender. The tomatoes type gravy over it complemented the sausages flavours. Again a personal preference I could have had it spicer. It came with a delicious little pretzel bun to mop all the gravy up with. Highly recommend this little place. You will not be disappointed!!

My all time favourite cafe in Perth! Delicious German food cooked by the lovely couple and I particularly love the relaxing atmosphere in the cafe, only 3 tables available, better come earlier before it gets crowded☺️

Lovely authentic German food, so tasty! The owners are very friendly and helpful. We had Schnitzel with German potato salad, Leberkase and Spätzle! Just a fantastic taste of Germany in Perth.

Finding such a friendly, small cafe is such a wonderful experience. Delicious coffee. Great selection of homemade German food. Renovations are happening in the arcade but do not let this put you off buying a great coffee. Please support small business 🙏

We were keen to try this place for some authentic German fare, and it didn't disappoint. They are owner operators and most items on the menu are prepared by themselves. Fantastic food accompanied by some cold pressed juice and an espresso. We will be back.

A lovely and cosy cafe serving authentic German fare. Was introduced there by my Colleague who knows Germany very well, and their lunch was always delicious and generous whenever we decided to give our a little lunch treat. The owner Jochem and his lovely wife Maria Luise ran the shop well. It’s a little hidden gem for those who love German bratwurst and schnitzel.

A very small amazing german coffee shop hidden in the city center. I got a take out coffee and bratwurst. The bratwurst was an A+++++ 🤭 and the smashed potato was soooo yummy, im not sure if its bec i had not eaten any of it the recent years or its reallly yummy, like its fresh or soemthing😍😍😍 the kind of made everyday, i guess (i grew up in a vegetable farm, so) and not the one stored for days, 😉 I love Bratwurst, I have never loved any sausage before until a friend introduced this back when i was in china! It was nearly closing time when I got to the cafe, but the owner was still kind enough to make my order☺️ I will be back for the other desserts!🤭

Simply Delightful. A little taste of Germany. Dropped in for coffee and enjoyed a delicious "Berliner" don't and grabbed a pretzel to go. Has a brilliant German menu ideal for lunchWonderful friendly host.. you must go

A lovely authentic German style Cafe in a quiet corner of the CBD. The Bratwurst and eggs were a delicious breakfast paired with some amazing fresh pressed juice and coffee. Cafe is very small but well presented, and the service was exceptional. We very much look forward to visiting again in the future 😊

What an amazing discovery! This will be first on the list when I next come to Perth. Thoroughly recommend the Schnitzel and Apple Strudel. Tried the juices too, they are delicious. Cosy atmosphere, heartwarming service and delicious authentic German food❤️

Great little German Cafe, close to Murray Street in the Arcade you can't miss it. Groovey German Owner's now from Perth very congenial friendly and welcoming. The food is always daily made fresh and yummy and excellent coffee to go or stay with plenty of other drink options. The Cafe is named Toffee Cafe and has plenty of character with interesting wall signs, pictures and articles to peruse while you get to know the groovey Owner's; a real treat love it!

Absolutely adored this German breakfast spot! The food was an absolute delight, and their recommendation of real mixed fruit was a hit. The staff's thoughtful gesture of splitting our dish made our morning extra special. With delightful music playing, it's the perfect place to start your day!

This is one of Perth's little hidden gems. Great coffee and fast service by uber-friendly staff. Each morning has a different culinary theme for the day. Wednesday is German rissole sliders; Friday is Krapfen! 🤤

Fantastic quality authentic German food in a tiny but comfy space with amazing service from the friendly couple who owns & runs it. Some of the best coffee in the area as well! Definitely check it out if you haven't before, and prepare to become a Regular :)

This place is exceptional. I have had the take away bratwurst on two occasions the bun and brats are top notch. Today I sat down and had the currywurst with mash potato and sauerkraut it was sensational. I've invited my parents into town to join me for lunch here next week.

Stopped by here for some coffee and cake. The coffee (Long Mac) was great and the cake was astounding. It was a plum cake (like a crumb cake in style) and it was seriously delicious. You don't see many German restaurants and cafes in Perth, so I'm happy to see a good one in the CBD.

Cafe made be teeny tiny, but you will get the biggest warm welcome! Beautiful food, made with love and attention to detail. Most of all delicious! Especially schnitzel sandwiches and apple cake with fresh cream.

Great place if you're of German decent and want a taste of the food German mother used to cook. True honest German food made to the price. Enjoyable place and owners. The only true German food place I've found in 15 years in Perth. Also good coffee and smoothies. Only down-side is it's a tiny café with only two tables so drop-in eat-in lunch is not always possible.

This place is amazing!! Mouth watering, hearty meals, diciously cooked and well portioned. The freshly made juices pair up fantastically with any dish. These are the Zigeuner Schnitzel, and the German Bratwurst with Potato Cake 🤤

Really nice quaint hole in the wall cafe. Managed by a German gentleman that specializes in German food. The coffee is consistently good - strong without bitterness. The Reuben sandwich is really good. Corned beef + cheese+ stuffed with Sauerkraut. Hospitable service. Worth seeking out.
