NOT
RECOMMEND.
Disgusting
treatment
of
customers.
My
husband
had
booked
and
paid
for
a
room
for
the
night.
After
travelling
all
day
and
absolutely
exhausted
(and
the
airline
had
just
lost
his
bag)
he
arrived
at
The
Stirling
Arms
to
be
told
“we
can
see
the
booking
but
it’s
been
cancelled
and
we
are
booked
out.”
My
husband
had
booking
confirmation
(with
a
confirmation
number),
which
he
showed
to
reception.
The
man
behind
the
desk
could
see
the
distress
my
husband
was
now
in,
no
where
to
sleep
at
9pm
at
night
and
no
bag
and
offered
no
further
assistance.
My
husband
did
ask
him
about
other
hotels
which
at
first
he
said
he
didn’t
know
of??
The
man
at
reception
then
called
another
hotel
and
told
my
husband
“yeah
they’ve
got
a
room
available
but
it’s
the
most
expensive
and
it
will
be
$250”
No
offer
of
a
refund
of
the
money
my
husband
had
ALREADY
paid,
“it’s
not
our
system”
was
the
response
to
that.
He
didn’t
offer
to
call
a
taxi
or
help
any
further.
Extremely
poor
customer
service.
The
man
behind
the
desk
at
reception
was
more
than
happy
to
highlight
the
fact
that
it
wasn’t
his
fault
but
refused
to
be
of
any
real
assistance.
Hopefully
this
review
can
deter
people
from
having
to
deal
with
the
same
horrible
customer
service,
stay
somewhere
else.
