I contacted GWA initially about having my engagement ring cleaned and polished and asked how long it would take - the chain jewellers wanted the ring for more than a week and I only had a few days! On arriving at the store Luis said he could do the job in an hour ..... I was thrilled!! While there I also looked at some beautiful emerald earrings but I really wanted sapphires to go with the dress I would be wearing at my surprise (for our family and friends) wedding in just a few days. Gemstones Western Australia made my fiancé’s sapphire engagement ring and matching wedding band and we found it an excellent experience. GWA is run by Luis, who was very approachable and friendly throughout whole process. We felt comfortable asking any questions we had and knowing very little about sapphires, Luis did an excellent job of educating me on everything I needed to know. More importantly Luis has an excellent collection of loose gemstones at GWA, which is great because gemstones often look different in person compared to in photos, so seeing the sapphires in person guaranteed that my fiancé found a gemstone she really liked. Luis was very accommodating throughout the design process and when we finally had the ring in hand, my fiancé was very pleased with the final product (also the provided skittles!).
