My friends, who are an ethnic pot-pourri of cultures, asked me to organise something different from the norm as an afternoon activity. So, I booked the 5 of us on a two hour Swan River Cruise with the Little Ferry Company, departing from the Barrack St Jetty at Elizabeth Quay. Because I chose the 12noon departure, I decided to bring an afternoon tea aboard the boat, and our Skipper Bob was happy enough for us to do so. The Boat was well equipped with 2 electric motors, which gave it the capacity to travel at 8 knots/ph. This had to be the most comfortable and most enjoyable ferry ride I have every been on in my life, and I speak from experience. Of course the weather was in our favour, and the temperature was just right. We made a few stops in our journey up and down the Swan allowing for a rest room break. The boat comfortably accommodated 13 people, and was especially entertaining because of the on-board commentary provided by Skipper Bob. He was an absolute delight and Fountain of Knowledge, when it came to giving us the history behind some of the historical sites along one of Perth's most under-rated tourist attractions...the Swan River. Skipper Bob was not your run of the mill pilot. The owner, Kevin, had provided him with a very attractive uniform, magnificent boat, and Skipper Bob provided us with a commentary, that included some humorous anecdotes, and perfectly complimented our journey as we enjoyed our specially prepared afternoon tea with wine. Even if we ran into a bit of bad weather, the boat was designed to protect us from light rains, harsh sun, and guaranteed a smooth & quiet cruise. I would strongly recommend this Little Ferry Company Cruise to all residents of Perth, their families, interstate & overseas visitors, and anyone looking for a most relaxing and enjoyable day out in Perth. The Barrack St Jetty is easily accessible by buses, from the Elizabeth Quay Bus Station, which is virtually across the street from the Elizabeth Quay Foreshore Development, boasting some of the best eateries in Perth, and one of two of Perth's only 5 Star Luxury Hotels...The Ritz Carlton. This Tourist Attraction turned out to be the best experience we've had since arriving 40 years ago, and sensational value for money.

Amazing ferry service. Great opportunity to be tourists in our own town. The skipper we had - Rory was very informative and entertaining. He even played the didgeridoo. We were part of a large group which took the two ferries from Elizabeth Quay to Claisbrook Cove for a morning tea birthday celebration, before returning on the ferries in the early afternoon. The staff at the Little Ferry Company we extremely accommodating.

My sister always full of surprises. We met up and she took me on the little ferry co. Been visiting Perth a long time, it was a lovely way to see Perth, we went into a few coves along the way and discovered some more restaurants by the water. The cruise is enjoyable, relaxing, great way to spend a few hours. Take a cruise in a little wooden boat, worthwhile.

Great little river tour. Bob was a great tour guide and shared much about the area. The only downside is that there isn’t air conditioning or fans on the boat and it was very hot in the summer. Once the windows were opened it wasn’t intolerable but it was still pretty warm.

Had a wonderful charter with David - absolutely class tour guide. This comes highly recommended. Value ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Such an amazing morning and should we be in Perth again would be keen to go on a longer charter. Thankyou so much to the Little Ferry Co. for an immaculate morning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day on the Little Ferry today. Loved the tranquillity of the electric motor & David was our friendly, informative skipper. I would certainly recommend this tour to experience the city of Perth from a different view. Thank you.

David and Kevin run a great outfit! Nifty little electric boats which ply the waters of The Swan River! David is a lovely and knowledgeable gentleman, eager to please his passengers. Highly recommended experience for a stay in Perth.

We tootled up the river Swan on the little ferry last night with Captain Kevin as our experienced guide. There were 11 of us all with ample seating space, and a cente console to hold a few cheeky beverages. The journey was two hours up past the Optus Stadium and back with a quick toilet stop on route. The ferry has an electric engine so no obtrusive noise or fuel smell. Its internal wood finish, padded seating and unobstructed views of the Swan river bank made it a relaxing, intimate and fun outing.

Very enjoyable 2 hours with great company. Solar electric ferry so no deisel fumes. Something different in the city to do. Captain Kevin was very welcoming and we had every confidence in his skills on the river. We were a group of 8 so there was plenty of room. I think 12 is th max on the little ferry. Byo everything which worked well. Hot balmy night on the Swan River. Perfect. Just do it!

Enjoyed a two hour river cruise after work on a Wednesday, and what an enjoyable ride it was. The day was warm, but on the water it was perfect, with a gentle breeze flowing through the little ferry. There were 8 of us, and we brought our own food and drink. Ice was provided in the central esky section where we put in our drinks easily. The skipper went through all instructions short and succinctly and then stayed at the front for the rest of the evening very discretely. Two hours is a perfect amount of time, and we enjoyed seeing the city and bridges slowly lighting up as the sun set. Definitely recommend. Just confirm amount of people so you get enough cups and plates if you need them provided.

A great day out on the beautiful Swan on the cutest little ferry in town. Thanks to Bob for being a great host and getting into the swing of a tween birthday and imparting some impressive local knowledge of Perth's history to boot!

A great way to see Perth from the water. Captain Bob made the trip enjoyable with his vast knowledge of the river. Morning tea at Toast Cafe was delicious. Thank you Bob.

Went on the Morning Tea Tour on the little ferry. Loved it. Really worth doing if you're in Perth. Skipper Bob was very informative about the history of the local area, and I was so amazed when he mentioned my ancestors. I was not expecting that 😁😁

We (party of 7) had a great time. Captain Bob really did a great job and went out of his way to accommodate our needs and had an endless knowledge of the history of the area. He even rang a coffee shop ahead of our arrival at Claisebrook to order our coffee.
