It is awesome soup with much herb flavour and well balance with the condiments and topping. The crispy spring roll also not too bad, but a bit expensive. Has only indoor seating for the customers. If you want to try the pho for dinner, you need to go to its new branch at The Old Shanghai food court, right behind Perth China Town.

We had pho from Phovela for$14.50. Actually we had this at The Old Shanghai, its new shop, but I couldnt find phovela there so I give it a go here. The broth was filled with herbal and spice aroma and extra textures of bean sprouts, cooked slice onions, and cilantro. What I like most in this serving is the variety of beefs, brisket meats and beef balls provided. They also had other basic condiments at the counter like soy sauce, sirancha, peppers although I'd always like to eat my pho how it is originally served without adding in any other flavours. A great experience. They also have other dishes in the menu like banh mi, broken rice with grilled pork, spring rolls, bao, and so much more. Cant wait to come back and try out soon.

Beef pho for lunch. Service was quick (~10 mins) and place is clean. Beef is fairly well cooked and tasty. Although, I do prefer it towards rare, it was tasty none the less (shall request it next time). Second lunch having pho as well. Instead of beef, I had it replaced with roasted pork. The pork came in a separate bowl to prevent the crispy skin from being soggy in the soup (cheers mate). Pork was very nice, crispy skin is crackling. During peak period, most people ordered takeout as there isn't a lot of sittings. For both times that I had my lunches during off-peak, I did not have an issue having it dine in.

Fast friendly service, MAGNIFICENT pho. I took my hubby to lunch here as he had never tried real Vietnamese food, he is now a huge fan and already planning a return visit. Can recommend the chicken pho, beef stir fry noodle and the bao is really tasty, light and fluffy. Interesting to note that the cafe was pretty packed and busy too. Could not fault the service or the food.

Rude and unfriendly girl on till, opted for the bahnmee and what a disappointment, rates as the worst I've ever had and seriously for $9.5 it's shocking. Minimal meat, masses of chili and totally flavourless. Beef pho tastes as stock cubes have been added and meat is near non existent, if bland noodles and water are your thing it's worth coming here however with the masses walking past and avoiding the venue, it must tell you something. Not worth a visit let alone a return.

Extremely high levels of MSG in the pho which caused me to feel ill quickly after eating it. Rude staff when asking for chilli as they no longer have this available to pick yourself. No sprouts or mint leaves offered anymore received just a dried lemon wedge. Use to eat here a few years ago, same staff just not the same food.

Great food. Was very delicious. 3 stars only cos I had seen an employee wear a glove on 1 hand and handle all the food with the hand with no glove. Was a little off putting and he looked like the owner.

I ordered a prawn based noodle salad and when I went to pick up my meal, I was served a pork noodle salad. I told the server I ordered prawn and she apologised and said they would bring my meal out to me. My meal came in 5 minutes and halfway through eating I discovered a piece of pork in my meal. They basically took the pork topping off and put prawn on top. The thought of someone unpicking and reassembling my meal is disgusting. Lucky I am not allergic to pork but I don’t eat it for religious reasons. I am devastated and disgusted. The noodles themselves were soggy, there was a whole cup of sauce sitting at the bottom of my bowl, and the salad was definitely not fresh. The lettuce and greens were wilted. Will never come back.

staff was nice. was really keen to eat at this place until i found a piece of hair in my chicken pho which made me lose my appetite all together. took it back to the counter and the lady made me another one but no taking accountability for the action, no apologies nothing. poor restaurant hygiene. personally wouldn’t go there anymore. nice place tho.

Amazing pho! Plenty of flavour. The food beepers are deafening in the restaurant which really ruines the atmosphere. Staff and food were top-notch.

Great interior decoration. Place for quick lunch but very average.

I always order the noodle salad asking for no cucumber and mint but extra coriander and extra chilli. This seems to throw them with my asking for roast pork and chicken. I pay for the pork and only get chicken. Out of the 20 or so times I’ve ordered, I have only once gotten the correct order. This is despite writing things down for them. I still like the salad, but they need to pay more attention to the orders they get. No communication obviously!

It was suggested online that I could expect the best Bahnmee..... Very disappointed! Probably it is the worst I've had. Served in paper bag despite dining in Attitude of staff very care less

The worst bánh mi, that I have had in Perth. Got the rost pork and it just seemed off something was wrong with it the sauce, the way it was served, and the lack of actual pork was all just completely wrong. Maybe it's just that my standards are so high from all the other brilliant bánh mi places in Perth, but this one is one place to skip.
