Subway is goood hut some staff people are not good. There is one guy #Karthik and he is alwys in hurry, we as customer giving you full money and he is hurry in putting things inside roll. Excellent South Indian food. Service is top knotch. Theeran was efficient, helpful and knowledgeable about the dishes. His recommendations were spot on. Thanjavur kair katti gola urundai, a must try, is a mutton dish where the meat melts in your mouth. Chicken kotthu parotta has the right amount of spice and is a great dish and so is the Mutton chukka dosa. Reservations recommended, especially on weekends. This restaurant is a must try for all doing Indian non vegetation food lovers.

Excellent food. I was surprised to see a lot of varieties of food that you do not usually see at other places. Really a breath of fresh air. The quality is absolutely awesome. The Travancore Chicken was great and is real authentic kerala style chicken fry. Biriyani was also very good. The speciality Vattalappam dessert was smashing, and so was the Maplai falooda. Hats off to the Maplai team, including Bogan who served us and made us feel right at home. Loved the service.

Great food !! If you want to enjoy traditional South Indian food this is the place for you. The food was really good however the service wasn’t great. It’s pretty easy to locate. I would suggest don’t give your car for the valet parking, not because they damaged my car in any way but when you go back to collect your car they take so long to return it was standing there waiting for literally ten minutes ! Otherwise it was a great experience.

Having 2nd WORST experience again this store. First they hire local people who don't understand a single word of English and Hindi(national language) they dont speak. I ordered sub on 1/Nov/2019.at 11:58pm and he did not provided me 1+1 offer and when i started questioning than manger said the offer is over.. The on serious note they don't know how to treat customers and have zero etiquettes. If a customer is willing to pay then give him service instead of fighting. On serious note, a big "NO" to this store. I know a single won't be making any affect but still if you face the same then u also post. Lets be unite and show them power of customer. Let them know how to treat customer in a better way.

1. Behaviour : Horrible. Don’t have basic courtesy. 2. They are usually out of stock with veggies and try to sell to sell with remaining half and Customer gets to know when they reach to counter. 3. Service quality is pathetic :Even if there couple of customers the minimum wait time will be 20 to 30 mins. 4. Cheaters: if take two six inches of same category... they charged for 6 inches not foot long. This is despite checking with them before ordering. This is not the case with any other subway outlets. 5. The way they make subway is not good. Sometimes I got staled bread. Keep less veggies. The only reason it runs is coz it’s in an IT park n there is monopoly. My review is after many bad incidents. I would suggest to avoid this. This outlet doesn’t deserve even a single star.

A wonderful place in Ecr to have some quality food. I tried their famous Maplai Virundhu and I was blown away by taste, quality and quantity and mind you i am a pure vegetarian. Yet, they had plenty of dishes that I couldn't even go past the 8 starters served. It was so filling. The guys who had Non Veg also loved it like anytn and I would definitely recommend the place. This is pretty close to Neelangarai police station

Chettinad cuisine for non veg lover is Maplai. You also get other cuisine variety here. It is well known for its unlimited Briyani virunthu. Ordered Veg Briyani - Kerala style only that's available. Not the best but good . Vazhaipoo kola urundai - must try Then few Indian 🍞 breads and country chicken curry . Visit for Chettinad cuisine . May be will visit again

Absolutely delicious food. Most of the items that we tried turned out to be great. Ambience was very good too. Designated parking area, spacious waiting hall, cleanly maintained place and comfortable seating. The only negative was the speed of service. Servers were courteous but failed to bring the dishes on time. They even forgot a couple of dishes and we had to end up cancelling them. Definitely worth the visit for the quality of food served!

It was like a foreign territory for me when i saw the menu because the menu was unique but the good thing is that i had people with me who knew the game. After going through the options multiple times we ended up ordering the Maplai Thaali. For non-vegetarians, they have a lot of options. Now coming to the food, it was my first proper south indian meal and it was a great experience. The thing which stood out for me has to be "Vazhapoo Kola Urundai" it was different and tasted great but that is subjective and depends upon your personal taste. This place definitely deserve a visit if you want to try good south indian food (Although the staff is really helpful but it would do wonders if you bring your south indian friends along)

I think so good for serving dine in but not for online delivery 2 days back I ordered veg subs I particularly mentioned to add double veg protein but they didn't add it Then I realized it may be mistake let's try today and I ordered chatpata Channa patty wrap They packed red dot wrap cover for veg wrap because of that my friend (veg) didn't ate that wrap

All the employees were very nice and friendly but, the one that stood out the most . She is very patient and helped me a lot. I was trying to find good deals for the food and he was very helpful. he knows how to treat customers and has a smile on her face. He clearly knows what she is doing and I am very impressed with the customer service here at maplai. Not only the customer service, but the food itself I was satisfied with! I will definitely be coming back to maplai. I give maplai 5 stars because of the wonderful customer service and food! Thank You!

Nice food joint on the ECR located on the main road serving authentic South Tamilnadu food items. Good ambience and very courteous staff. The chicken kothu parotta, coin parotta and nattu kozhi curry are very good.The meals served during lunch is also pretty good. The prices are also reasonable. Overall a good place that gives full value for your money.

This restrarunt is mainly suited for NV lovers. Both a-la-carte and Buffet available. Many varieties available under NV menu. Nandu rasam, fish, Briyani were nice. But veggies will be certainly disappointed limited varieties and very average taste. Prices of the dishes are bit high. Went for a dinner party (a-la-carte) with 15 people, costed around 14k

I have been to maplai twice and my experience wasn't so good. Might give it a few more tries and then come to a conclusion. Very crowded during weekends.

One of the best restaurant which serves very healthy food. Also the customer service was amazing. I would like to thank Mr. Dheeran for explaining in detail on how the dishes are prepared and his customer service was very good. Must go place for food lovers. I will visit again.

When the restaurant started it got a variety of dishes which tasted really good. But now a days we can find only limited dishes. And I should say they didn't do any compromise to the taste. Food is really good there even though we cannot find varieties. Due to the limited varieties giving 4 star

Good place and taste is good

Had such a wonderful experience in this restaurant but on my last visit i saw a complete change. Ambience was in bad shape, menu card changed , signature dishes missing. More over in the name if biryani they served white rice on top of chicken curry. Even you cannot tell the difference between their starters because they were more or less made in same manner. I used to rave about this food joint to my friends but not any more.

Sipcy food lovers, here is the place which offers great Chettinad style spicy dishes. Tried south indian biriyani(Chiken/Mutton) which is good, but upon my expectations kerala prawn biriyani is not good(also very spicy). Theepoori chicken starter is the one I would suggest for the people who wish to die by green chillies(delicious).

Long time in the list, visited last week. It was a weekday so it wasn't crowded much. Ambience - Was good ,since it wasn't crowded we felt very cold and asked to switch off the AC. Service- was very nice. They were polite and served everything bit faster. Food - we ordered Madurai mutton Briyani,Karuvepillai chicken, Naatukozhi chicken gravy ,Coin parotta, Kola urundai, Paanagam, Jigarthanda. Mutton Briyani was ok and not great. Karuvepillai and Naatukozhi were excellent. First set of coin parotta was just ok but later the second plate was good. Kola urundai nice but very expensive . Jigarthanda wasn't like famous Jigarthanda but it was different and nice. Overall nice experience but price is on higher side . Kola urundai doesn't deserve such a high price.

Outstanding Tamilan food, with a few dishes from other cuisines of South India. The fish curry with mango and drumsticks was fantastic, as was the mutton curry. They have a lamb meatball starter which is superb. They have a few varieties of South Indian biryanis, very good. This place is very popular, and they don't accept reservations on the weekends, so be prepared to wait up to an hour. It's worth the wait!
