Last week was our first visit to MAGNA, our first impression has been fabulous. After two well-known specialists of Thyroid- in T Nagar where our experience was absolutely disappointing. We had our reservations, but after our visit to Dr. Shanmugasundar, who after listing carefully, offered consultation easy and simple, it has helped us understand the issues well. He didn't scare us, in fact, he was totally reassuring. This was a huge help and relief unlike our previous two doctors who were totally precipitous. In our entire conversation, the Dr. was remarkably polite, gentle and frank. Overall it was a highly satisfying experience. The clinic is equipped with modern equipment, clean and neat, the staff is friendly and interestingly not overcrowded with patients. There are several specialists for numerous areas.

Based on gynecologist recommendation and online review went to this place with lot of hopes. While the process and system is organised well, doctor did not made any attempt to dig into patient records and do a thorough analysis. He not even spent Max of 5 mins and still in COVID isolation mode kind of setup. While we made all effort to voice over the past records he did not listen to it completely. And whatever medicine he recommended is very expensive and did not find any change after 3 months. Also after visit we get link for post the reviews...

After seeing good reviews in google , I visited this doctor for thyroid issues. He didn’t even spend 5 mins time in listening my issues and not a very good listener as mentioned in the reviews and simply asked me to take few tests, thy said that they will call and discuss my results & give prescription. But there was no follow up call or discussion from hospital . They simply sent the prescription to email without even saying anything about my results. They charged 700 for consultation and 3000 for test but no proper response. too pricey for nothing. For dietician paid 300.. but they didn’t even listen what we are saying .. just sent diet chart and that’s it .. no follow up call or what needs to be done next.

I went to Magna to consult Dr Shanmugasundar for my wife. He is such a nice human being. The best part is, he reminds you the questions to be asked which we usually miss in haste. Ambience good Doctor Shanmugasundaram good After consultation the guidance was not proper. Only after coming home I saw that I missed the Dietitian. Somemore guidance needed for patients. On the whole the place had a good energy level with Shirdi saibabas pictures radiating miraculous healing energies.

I & my mom are taking treatment for thyroid. Dr. Shanmugasundaram sir is very knowledgeable, professional & provides best treatment & answers all our questions. He won't prescribe medications unnecessarily. He will tell us to try the natural ways Ex: Weight etc Clinic is clean n tidy . Staffs are good. Facilities are available like lab, pharmacy, physiotherapy, dietician. I feel more comfortable that we need not roam for blood tests n come again for doctor's visit to show reports. She is not a responsible person towards her patients. She just does for name sake. Again I went to clinic & ask her to change my diet plan . She never bothered to revert back. I agree that she is busy with other patients but will it take 1year to send a diet plan & to contact the client. I just stopped asking her. My opinion is better to change the dietician. Dr. Shanmugasundaram is one of the academically brilliant Dr . He had completed his DM Endo from PGI (Chandigarh) and from this, one can understand the academic background . As i see he is humility personified and is a patient centric dr - meaning more concerned about the patient's welfare . Medications are limited and he takes pain and time to explain . He values patient time and most lab results comes in few minutes and hence the patient need not come for 2nd visit after collecting the lab results next day applying leave from his job again except in rare cases . I have been 3-4 times to their clinic, quite impressive, run very professionally and efficiently, with a good level of service and speedy. One doesn't have to wait for a long time to see the doctor, the in house lab makes taking tests easier and faster, the in house pharmacy is a huge plus, overall would rank the clinic positively, and it's relatively affordable, not too expensive, there is a feeling you are getting value for your money and time.
