Interesting vegetarian Indian food - very authentic items not easily found elsewhere in Malaysia, let alone in Kuala Lumpur. I frequently pass this restaurant but never stopped by before. I’m so glad I finally did and discovered this interesting place. Makes all the more sweet that it was by accident! This place is not vegan, though - lots of raita, lassi and other similar stuff.

I tried mini tiffin today. It consists of 2 mini dosa, 1 vada, sambar idli(8 idli), sweet and tea/coffee. Cost RM 13 per person. It was awesome. Truly wonderful, authentic South Indian Taste. I would definitely recommend it for foodies who love south Indian food

Best vegetarian restaurant near KL Sentral. Menu is priced very reasonably. For take away each item is charged RM1 extra on the published price. Quantity of the food is very satisfactory. Taste is yummy. Especially you should try Curd Vada. Awesome. Staff are very courteous and customer friendly. Ambience is very good. Opens at 07:30AM.

I ordered 3 sets of 'Rasa malai' from them via grabfood.. Honestly, the worst Rasmalai I've ever had in my life.. 'Rasmalai' literally means 'Juicy milk cream'.. The Rabdi was just watery with no milk and the Paneer balls were so dry like eating balls of dirt.. It kinda hurt my throat.. What a disaster.. They all ended up in the trash.. Please improve

Been here since 2017.... I'm not a fan of vegetarian food..but this place made to become one.... But my recent visit had given me nothing but disappointment... The reason was the chef has moved to their another restaurant ( Indian spices village). When are you people gonna learn to create SOP to cook every dish, isn't that will make it easier for any cook to prepare the dish and the keep the taste at optimum... Learn... Please.... The food today was nothing but recipe for disaster...

Best dosa I’ve had - light and crispy 👌 the mango lassi was equally as good, made with fresh mango. The cashew pulau was delicious. The gentlemen working there were friendly and welcoming. Will be back next time I’m in KL

The masala dose here was soooo good. It looked under cooked but was still crunchy and yummy. Red chutney could be better and the masala tea was strooooooong. Would definitely go back.

Sambar and chutney were quite good. 3 types of chutney for breakfast. Parking was so easy here compared to any other restaurants in brickfields. First choice here for morning breakfast.

Food ensures if something gets spoiled don't serve it. One of the chutneys spoiled, and order Panniarum was very sour. The toilet and hand wash area need to maintain cleanliness.

Food was good, waiting staff could be a little more proactive by providing recommendations or giving more explanations but they answered questions. Overall food is tasty and it was a good dinner. I’m not familiar with Indian cuisine but food was to my taste as an European.

Food was so tasty 🥳 we ordered executive meals veg prawn briyani, mini meals and vege chicken briyani and drinks comes in variety but a bit pricey. Food taste and service is top class. I recommend executive meals where Gobi poriyal, paneer masala wow so nice.

First time dining here and the experience was great. Great choice of food for vegetarians. Enjoyed the paneer briyani, yellow dhal and vada. One thing to note is that not all the menu items were translated into English do we had a bit of difficulty in ordering, but the staff was friendly to assist. Price was reasonable too. Will definitely visit again.

Wouldn't recommend. Starters : No mayonnaise. The sauces provided were below standard. Main Course : Below average. On my previous visit, I ordered paneer tikka. The capsicum in it was not even properly marinated/cooked so i complained and asked them to take care of it next time. This item, I saw the anne in the next table complaining about his main course. The parota he ordered was not good it seems, he was also returning the plate back to kitchen. I was wondering how many such return orders they get from the walk-in customers. The management needs to find better cooks or improve them else it will be difficult to sustain. Desserts : We ordered strawberry and vannila milkshake expecting natural ingredients instead they took an cup of vannila and strawberry ice creams and mixed it with milk Payment : Accepting digital wallets like boost, touch and go, QR scanner, Grab pay etc.. could be beneficial to the management as well as customers.

Really enjoyed their food, ambience, variety, cleanliness and customer service. The price is extremely reasonable for a pure vegetarian restaurant located in the heart of they metropolitan. I highly recommend their creamy, delicious kulfi that comes in four different flavours that include Almond, Pistachio, Mango and Durian. They also have varieties of ice cream, cakes, snacks and sweets available in store. I also recommend their mushroom and paneer 65! Was super fresh and tasty. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR VEGETARIANS AND EVERYONE ELSE! ✨✨✨

Ordered Paneer 65, Veg manchow soup, Schezwan fried rice. Food quality was good at the reasonable price. A good ambience and good food for vegetarians. Paneer 65 was served without any Chutney or side dish, but overall good experience.

Ordered hyderabadi paneer biryani...Got vegetable biryani instead with not a single paneer piece. Chole bhature and masala idli was good though. Restri should improve their take away and delivery services. Serving online customers with food they did not ordered is highly misleading.

My worst ever food experience..the service was so bad..the waiter kept on forgetting wat we order ND served us something else.. had to wait for appam like one hour ND still order not ready.their Pani puri ND Chaat was literally bad ND not tasty at all..asked for normal lemonade ..got normal soda without any lemon taste.quality of food was much worse than normal food stalls.i will never recommend anybody this shop for authentic Indian food..better go normal mamak shop ND enjoy nicer food there.

Review based on order thru grabfood. Tried their tiffin set (includes tea/coffee and a disposable cup was given), loved it.. Onion uttapam was good too with 3 choices of chutney provided. Pineapple kesari was too sweet for my liking. Overall good food but price was a bit on the higher end. Will definitely give their other menus a try

Supposed to be pure vegetarian restaurant with lots of moke meat choices chicken, mutton and fish. If someone wants to eat meat they will or should eat real meat why moke meat. Visa payment displayed at the door and cashier but when I went to pay I was told CASH only. Usually I don't carry cash but fortunately I had just enough cash to pay. 😠 Will never go to this place again.

This was a total shocker. We went into the restaurant as it said pure vegetarian on the signage. But to our horror the restaurant looks like a really horrible place. The paint on the walls were peeling away, the disgusting smell of dampness, torn, dirty menu's. Gosh, the list could just go on. How can you run a restaurant in that state? I feel sorry for the staff, who are clearly from India and have no choice but entertain guess in that horrible conditions. Food was cold and totally disgusting. They are so below par compared to their counterparts Indian Spice and Vasantha Bhavan. A note to the owner: Please have some dignity, you are running a restaurant, serving food. Please take soke pride in your food business, try and come and have a look at your set up.

The food was ok. Service was good. However, they could really improve their interior hygiene. As soon as entering, you get a dampness /moldy smell, not properly ventilated(which made me uncomfortable throughout). I could see leaks in the walls( which is not ideal for sitting and eating). The looks of interiors was good though.

Everything was so delicious and fresh, the best idly and dosa I’ve had so far, the chutneys were simply the best too, so flavourful and could tell they’re generous with their ingredients and it’s pretty affordable in my opinion, also everything wasn’t too greasy so i really enjoyed it and would definitely visit again

  • 1/5 Kumanan A. 9 months ago on Google
First impression, there are no patrons when we arrived at this restaurant which should be our red flag, but given the good reviews in Google, we decided to try this place anyway. My partner ordered Podi Idly, Ginger Lemon Soda & baby corn fritters and I ordered Onion Podi Thosai & Rose Milk. My food and the drinks arrived first, the Thosai was okay, but Podi was bland and there is so little of it. The Rose Milk is watered down and doesn't taste authentic. My partner's food arrived much later, first they didn't give any chutney or sambar for Podi Idly. Podi is bland here as well, the Idly was cut into small pieces and stir fried with onion and Podi. The baby corn fritters is a complete and utter disappointment, the waiter described it as fried food with marinated masala. We were crispy babycorn, however, it was grilled / tandoor item and defies our expectations in worst way. The babycorn is teenager sized, the marinate was too thick and it's still soft outside and you can peel the marinate with spoon. Given the premium price they charged at this restaurant, we were expecting much more, however we wouldn't recommend this restaurant anyone.

Not worth the money.. Banana leaf set RM14 but serve with 3 very cheap vegetables. Positive: Gobi Manchurian really good in taste. They need to revise back their price and banana leaf set.
