Ace Hardware is known to be the upmarket handyman's shop, simply because a lot of the items in the store are either imported from US or Europe, with the exception of some cheaper stuff from China. This outlet, adjacent to the entrance of Jaya Grocer is another typical Ace Hardware, just like the others in town. Packed to the brim with all sorts of DIY hardware and materials, it can be mind boggling to locate items you're looking for. The staff are ever willing to help you, though. You should be aware that some of the items conform to standard sizes in other countries and may not fit ours. Be forewarned. Nice place to browse as it gives you the opportunity to discover tools and items to help you in your housework and DIY projects.

Bit expensive than your regular hardware shops. But still a fun place to go and explore new products (hardwares related) that might not be available in local shops. Plus, this Ace just sit next to Jaya Grocer & a cafe.

Most of items selling are imported, the prices are varies value buy if an item can solved before buy be sure the right products for a problem. The staff willing to give assistance. Garden and outdoor products are most taken space, BBQ equipment and accessories are good to shop. Place for home improvement.

It is located at the lower ground of a 'death' mall next to Jaya Grocers. Usual stuff but a bit pricey. It has more models of electric drill compares to the Ikano branch. Parking is free here.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the quality of the items available in this shop but there is everything wrong with management and staff and their attitude and treatment of their long term customers. Over the last eight years the staff in this shop have consistently exhibited a complete lack of language skills, product knowledge and professionalism. The company sells products but they dont support them in any way and if customers need any support of any kind, they are on their own. Ace Hardware describe themselves as being "The Helpful Place" and their corporate statement claims " Ace Hardware’s mission is to become the-most helpful hardware stores on the planet. Therefore, being helpful is the guiding principle in everything we do". The day to day reality in Malaysia and especially in Bukit Jelutong is that this is an absolute fantasy. At a corporate level Ace Hardware does not want to provide customer service of any kind or even inter-react with customers. They have no address, no contact information, no customer service facility, no social media presence and they appear to hide from their customers as much as they possibly can. As I say - great products on the shelves but as for "being helpful is the guiding principle in everything we do"? Not even close.
