I've made a few orders here as gifts and the ready made cakes seems to be good. Decided to try the custom made and the look was good but the taste was terrible. It was dry and doesn't even taste or look like red velvet. the custom made cakes were much more expensive at RM200 for the 6 inches but really not worth it. Also ordered custom made chocolate cupcake and it was so-so. paid RM10 per cupcake and the cocoa used was poor quality. Gave feedback and all they did was tell me they are sorry and they will feedback to the baker instead of taking responsibility for not checking the baker's quality/ appointing the baker.

I was so so so disappointed getting this cake. Already wrote very clearly about message on cake and on card but the seller mismatched them. The writing on the cake was just terrible, "birtday" was wrong spelling and the sentence even out of the surface, the cake was much different from the picture. If you give ppl option to add the words, please do it properly, if can not then dont do it. Your neglect ruined others's day. Look at the words and feel so angry.

Bad Cake Ever The Oreo mint chocolate cake that I expect is a refreshing and creative flavor, how come when i eat the cake base is salty, is the bakery chef misunderstanding about sugar and salt? Had my 1st try on their Orange poppyseed cake and 1st thing pops up in my mind is how can such cake goes into our market!!! I would say even a beginner bakes better than this.

Ordered a Mango cheesecake for my colleague, They sent me a frozen Mango Cheesecake. End up, we have to throw it away. Very disappointed, I will not order cake from this website anymore.

A delayed feedback: Unreliable & irresponsible. This happened exactly a month ago, Eat Cake Today accepted my order on a public holiday and only informed that the bakery is closed during the delivery time. I ordered the cake for a celebration and had to look for a quick alternative due to their last minute notice.

I was shocked to see the size of the cake received! For RM125 it was so small like a miniature cake. I also was dissapointed that the cake when delivered had no instructions on whether to keep refrigerated or leave in room temperature. As a result it was left outside whole day and by time we had it in evening, it was too soft. Dissapointed.

Utter disappointment yesterday. I had ordered Mangolicious vegan cake for my son's birthday but the cake texture was hard. The cake didnt smell nice either. I suspect it wasnt freshly baked yesterday.

Ordered one of those office bites for a colleagues birthday. Apparently the driver had an incident along the way but didn't let us know. When we checked, it was completely destroyed. They refunded the cake but not the delivery. But apparently my colleagues have had no problems ordering from them before so this my be a one of incident.

My order was delivered without paper bag and how am I giving it as the present to my friend? The cake will no longer range as premium and not presentable if without the paper bag !

I ordered a pandan gula melaka cake; delivered on 19 June 2021. To my dismay, the cake was underbaked & not cooked. Any experience baker would be able to see from the photos that the cake was not thoroughly baked. Moreover, we tasted the topping & it was made with caramel syrup, not gula melaka. Whatsapp to provide feedback, but no response apart from only acknowledging my text. It was a disaster as this was a gift. P/S: We had to THROW the entire cake away. Update 23 June 2021: They replied stating its well baked & cake texture is densed. When I mentioned it's unacceptable, they apologised & offered to compensate with another cake. However, I'm not seeking for freebies. Just acknowledgement & apology.

Bought father's cake cause the pamphlet advertised said the filling was taro and coconut pudding. And whne I asked the sales person at starling she said yes and confirmed is taro coconut pudding. When I came home it was dark chocolate. I got cheated. and it is so dry. It was horrible. And cost me 130.

I always order my cakes from Eat Cake Today because they have a lot of variety and they are always punctual for delivery. This time I had blackforest noire cake. It has a nice real melt in the mouth chocolatey taste and is not overly sweet. Usually I opt for shipping, however this time around I collected from their store at The Starling Mall. It is nice to look around and see the balloons, the soap flowers and the many other slice cakes on display.

Pleasant experience. Cake arrived in perfect condition and on time. The CS team was efficient in handling any additional requests. Definitely will order again using this platform. Well done Eat Cake Today.

They did a customized bday cake for me and it was the best cake. The design was nice and the taste was great. Really love what they did.

The cake is collapsed upon delivery presumably caused by the deliveryman. Would've wanted some form of compensation from eatcaketoday platform but instead the solutions that was given were irresponsible. So we did not get to try out the cake in the end.

Ordered one earl grey cake from here for family reunion meal and it's the worst cake we have ever eaten. The sponge cake tasted like it was left overnight for days, extremely dry and the cake was way too sweet. We ordered 6" cake and over half of it had to go to waste, very disappointed with the quality of the cake as it is very expensive.

Totally did not regret ordering this cake after reading all the reviews! The cake was perfect, and my kids loved it. It was moist, mild and tastes just perfect. Ordered this cake for a corporate event and it was yummy, not too sweet. Delivery was excellent and delivery man was very kind, polite and courteous. A cake that we could hardly guess the flavours by just looking at it. It is charcoal sponge cake with black sesame frosting. I like it🤩❤️

This actually was a surprise event for my bestie and I was slightly nervous about the delivery as the weather always bad, it kept raining. But with the help from Eat Cake Today, this whole experience has turned up to be a memorable one. The cake was received in good condition, everything was fine and the best part of all this, my bestie really loved the cake!
