Food was good but the waiter was very rude (old women)took our plates and give us a bill straight away(we tried to order some cocktails) felt like they don't want us there

Brilliant meal for the family on Mother’s Day. Fantastic atmosphere, great food and a welcoming environment. Our 3 year old granddaughter ate all her food, which is very unusual, and really enjoyed it. Big thank you to all the staff for an excellent meal to celebrate a special day.

Epic first experience of the Beefeater Granary last night as we went to celebrate our engagement! Thanks so much to Emma and the team of staff that were able to cope during a busy evening, as well as making us all feel welcome. Our food was truly delicious, and well worth the wait. When placing our order, we notified the staff that two members on our table had food allergies, and we felt safe in the knowledge that the team were confident and competent at dealing with this. The food, the service, the atmosphere and the overall experience inside the venue were fantastic and we can't fault it, however I think there is an opportunity to improve the experience and safety when walking from the restaurant to the car park. There was no light (floodlights, lights on buildings, etc) when walking to the car park barriers and into the car park to collect our car. As a female, I know how vulnerable I can feel in poorly lit places, so I think this could be an opportunity to improve the feeling of safety after leaving the venue. However, this didn't detract from the fantastic experience we had last night and we wouldn't hesitate to return when we are next on holiday. Thabkyou Team Beefeater ❤️

Visited this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. I gave the steak sampler (succulent 4oz sirloin, tender 4oz fillet and flavoursome 4oz rump steak served with peppercorn sauce, grilled flat mushroom, roasted tomato, onion rings and triple-cooked chips) priced at 22,99 GBP and requested at medium-rare a try. Steaks were mostly at the requested cooking stage (medium-rare) and super delicious. The staff were very friendly.

Great experience today lunch time. Mel (new waitress) was friendly and exceeded our expectations. Nice steak (medium rare always the best), drinks and sticky toffee pudding as usual 👌🏻👍🏻🤩 we will certainly come back.

Our family arrived at 6:30 and waited at least 5-7 minutes for our drinks which was fine-normal waiting time. HOWEVER, we were appalled at the wait time for our food!!! After ordering our meals, we waited at least 2 hours for all of them to arrive- to which we finished them in under 5-10 minutes. ALSO, with the shocking waiting time, our food was appalling. The chips were uncooked, and were not crispy AT ALL!!! And were very raw, that one of our family members could not even fully eat because it was disgusting as soon as they bit the chips!!! It was Aneamic. The fish was alsso awful, it was small and there was only 6 chips on the plate!!! Also, one of our steaks were also disgusting!!! Our family member, asked for a well-done steak, and when arrived it was completely rare in the middle!! It was awful!! Also the mushrooms, were awful. We also asked for a second round of drinks to which our request was completely ignored, so 2 of our family members had to get it themselves. Our food was left standing for at least 2 hours as the waiting was! It was appalling. The food was barley eatable nor enjoyable, which ruined our evening along with the wait time. We were given compensation. however it still spoilt the evening.

Well I read the reviews and hoped for the best as it was only a short walk away. Sadly it was extremely disappointing in nearly every aspect. It has to be said that the waitress tried her level best but was simply overwhelmed by too many tasks and not enough staff (Friday). The starters were OK, a bit average. They arrived in a decent time after ordering. However, the main course steak meals, which were not worth the money, took far too long to turn up. My rib eye steak was thin, overcooked and very over priced. The chips,mushroom and tomato just off cold!! The genuinely thoughtful waitress arranged for more hot chips. By the time they arrived my steak was cold and yes they were hot but powder dry and difficult to eat!! Then to pay we waited 15 minutes, noticing that other people had got to the point of putting coats on to get attention. We did the same with resulting in actually getting somewhere regarding paying and leaving. During the long time we had waiting we could not help but notice the extraordinary lengths of time meals were held under the heat lamps, a good 15 minutes. In length poor food, overpriced with bad service. Why the place was full is beyond me, it's dire and we will not be using Beefeater again.

Best birthday meal for my husband, the steak was perfect and where we sat looking out on to golf course. The girl who served us gave us the best experience ever and she is a credit to your company. Perfect in every way.

First time at the Beefeater, super nice environment, was greated by I'm guessing the manager who was really kind and answered any and all questions we had. Was quite busy and staff showed no sign of stress, we waited between 5-8 minutes to be served and listed other options which were similar if a dish was N/A. Really high quality food, clean area and huge inside, great for a family meal, classy enough for a date, highly recommend.

It had been a number of years since our last visit. We received a warm welcome upon arrival.. I asked for a quieter area if possible & sure enough, that's what we got. Drinks order taken as we were ready & food the same. We asked for a couple of alterations to my wife's meal & it was no problem. The food was very good, hot & hot plates too.. we were asked a couple of times if the food & drinks were ok. Couldn't manage desserts (to full). All the staff were so nice. Definitely going again. Happy Bunnies.

We had a meal at the Granary on 27/12/22 and overall the food was very good and the service excellent. Only criticism was the mini sundae I ordered for dessert was meant to have a warm brownie included but the brownie was cold. Good value for money and I would recommend.

Breakfast was divine, went in on the off chance before golf. Quiet but very attentive and polite. Great service. Beefeater breakfasts seem to be buffet so was surprised when this was order but it was fresh and hot. Lots to choose from on the continental. A few items missing but still lots there.

Lovely inside, decorated lovely. Very limited food for vegetarians, If you love burgers and pizza, then this is the restaurant for you. I had the vegetarian lasgana, which was ok, but not enough options(vegetarian) It was nice to watch the golfers while we had our food. Staff were not accommodating to the lady with us who had mobility problems and asked for a closer table but were told that's not possible. The whole time we were at the restaurant, it wasn't very busy and as we left it was practically empty.

Food is okay, without a voucher I wouldn't go. Unfortunately they seemed to be struggling to get food out on time when we went on a Sunday, this didn't affect us much (little longer wait than usual but not a problem). The problem was the way a person appearing to be a manager talked to his staff in front of customers.

Food was lovely, but service sucked. We arrived to find the front desk empty. We waited a good five minutes for someone to arrive. No apology, just "have you booked?" The place was half empty so it really wouldn't matter if we hadn't reserved a table. The staff looked miserable and the atmosphere was flat. We waited a long time to be served and even longer for the food. The reason we visited was for the vegan options and the special offer menu. The waitress didn't even mention the special menu so we had to ask - without it we would have paid a lot more! Anyway, we did enjoy the food and would return to try some other options. I just hope for better service next time.

We have just had a really lovely meal at the Granary. Excellent service and food. The grilled salmon was absolutely delicious. Our waitress Charli S was very welcoming, polite and friendly.

Very good and taste food. Staff are very polite and helpful. Waiting time for food depends from your time of visit but average 20min. I can strongly recommend this restaurant for families and for those on business trip. Well done!!!

We went to a show at a theatre in Peterborough. Stopped here on the way home. Not impressed. Toilets were in disarray. I ordered a salad and triple cooked chips Salad in a small bowl and probably 8-9 chips. My friend's fries tasted and looked as if they had been reheated. Almost £7 for my small amount. I won't be visiting a Beefeater again.

Myself and my husband thought we'd go for a nice drink on a Friday afternoon. Decided to sit outside and have some food. It took ages to come and wasn't very hot when it did. The tables outside could do with replacing. Would also recommend they hold the umbrellas down with something, as one flew out of the table after a gush of wind and hit a man on the head! Surprised he didn't complain. Won't rush back!

Dinner was booked for two at 6.00pm. A service dog was with her wheel chair user owner and we were made to feel very comfortable and were placed very conveniently, but they were considerably understaffed I imagine, as the wait for table service, especially for the bill at the end, was awful. The food was OK, but the speciality Cob Salad was an ordinary leaf salad with a few sweet corn kernels and (very few) small pieces of red pepper, at a cost of £9.99, salmon, chicken or steak extra. As usual these days at any restaurant, we were greeted with a list of menu items that were unavailable but that was not a great start to our meal

Food was absolutely top notch, the service the same I highly recommend booking a table for that special treat

Had a great breakfast here, really good value for money with a great selection, great for kids too! had such a warm welcome from Maria & Louise, they went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed, super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They even asked if we had any allergies, couldn’t ask for anything more.

Very good service. Meals werevery good but did feel they didn't give many chips. Counted 12 chips with my steak!! Other than that would recommend the quality of the steaks offered.

Staff were phenomenal. I went with a client I support, first day I asked if I could take it to the room, they went out their way to do so for us, then the second day they helped me too when I had to go take the client back to the room. They wrre so so kind, caring and considerate and all had lovely personalities. Loved this place! Thank you all x

Well that was an interesting meal out... Just got glutened at a Beefeater. Annoying because I said I was GF when booking, asked for the allergen booklet before ordering, reminded the server when ordering to make sure all food was gf.... Then in the middle of my starter I found gluten! In their credit, the server got the manager straight away. He contacted his general manager to investigate why the error had happened. They said they are going to ring me tomorrow to see how I am... And the entire bill was complimentary. Bad it happened, but good how seriously they took it. Tomorrow is an important day so I hope I'm not too ill!

Meal excellent 20min wait for food to be cooked and considering nearly all tables full very good. Waitress Emma was great but rushed off feet so left a good tip. Very friendly and chef talks in the background and it sounds like Mr bean talking so was amusing too 😁
