Always a fabulous experience at Middletons. 1st fell in love with the Restaurant chain in Middleton itself but Peterboroughs branch is spot on. Steaks cooked to perfection. Staff always friendly and helpful and all reasonably priced too!

Visited this restaurant on a Monday afternoon. Gave the 10 oz filet steak ( 33.95 GBP at the time of this review due to 5 00 supplement surcharge ) requested at medium-rare a try. Steak was at the requested cooking stage and ok. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Overall we enjoyed our visit, the food was okay. We all had roast dinners. I had the beef. Granted i did order it medium to well. However it was a bit burnt, quite hard but had an alright taste. The rest had lamb which was okay also. The flavour was pretty bland but nothing out of the ordinary. The roast potato’s were lovely, and Yorkshire puddings were fantastic! The vegetables were a bit of a let down. They were ice cold and hard so not very pleasant. The drinks however were fantastic; a bit overpriced but they tasted amazing! The price for 4 of us and 4 drinks came to just shy of £120. This was including a non optional service fee of 10%. This probably should be mentioned when you enter the restaurant. It wasn’t major but still £12 extra.

13 of us came for a retirement meal. I had the classic mixed grill and it was good, there were no complaints from anyone about the food. The service was very slow, however the staff were very polite.

We were a large group and they were happy to accommodate us on short notice. The food was delicious, steak cooked to perfection. Our waitress was lovely and we had a good laugh with her. Great atmosphere and although it was a Tues evening it was quite busy, but not noisy. Would've been nice to see a surf and turf on the menu with lobster though! Pudding was nice, but would've liked the creme brulee warm.

Dined there last night with relatives, we were looking forward to it as husband often goes lunch time. My sister in law and I had bass that was slimey and wet, chips were hardly cooked, the Steaks were good, beef Wellington good, salmon good and burger just the two bass. However excellent waiter service very good, I think there were too many customers for the staff, fish needs frying or baking NOT boiling or steaming, that's for sick people.

Whilst food isn't the cheapest, you are getting high quality meat cuts and the sea food is delicious there. Great variety of meals and cocktails, just wish they had a beer tap or two.

Massively overpriced for what they offer. Our waiter was excellent, however the food was not. Additional charges on steak due to "the state of current affairs", cheap (quality) meat, might as well have ordered 8oz of jerky as cutting up the things let alone eating it was indeed a challenge. I genuinely buy better steak from Aldi for a fraction of the price. I would not go again, even if I was not paying.

Been to Peterborough before, stopped for lunch with the family on the way home from Lincoln. Friendly staff, helpful, good selection of food and deserts. Not rushed, enjoyed what we had and would go there again if in Peterborough. Would recommend it.

We booked a table for my husbands' birthday, The staff were very friendly and attentive. Our table was ready, we had a choice of tables. The service was fantastic, the food was amazing. It was a little bit cold in there but we were only sitting and the staff would have been running around so they would be be more comfortable. There was a lovely bit of background music as well. We really enjoyed it and will visit again. Get the app and you can get discounts.

On arrival we were advised we were actually the first Bottomless Brunch they've had booked in so we were a bit worried but we definitely didn't need to be! The service was first class, kept checking on us and didn't leave us with a empty glass for more than a few minutes. The food was lovely and plenty of choice for Veggies and Vegans too! Excellent selection of drinks on offer too. Well worth the 31.50! Can't wait to go again!

Lovely jazz music in the background and good value two course meal £11.95 - nice sized portion Clean restaurant and toilets I felt the wedges were a bit undercooked and were the frozen type rather than fresh but I really enjoyed my meal

We had our our wedding anniversary meal here, staff were great and attentive, it was a Sunday and the roast dinners looked good and great value however we went off the main menu wife had chicken pate with onion relish for starter and fillet steak and I had calamari and surf ( half lobster) and turf ( sirloin steak), was very nice. Looking forward to next visit...

Good food, but the point of the meat was not correct (we ordered for raw and it came medium) and the beer could be colder.

On arrival, i was greated by the bar staff who i believe may have been the manager. I didn't have a booking but they found me a table straight away. Top marks for that. Sadly that is where the service stopped. not once did any of the staff smile, and there was enough of them. The only times I saw them smile was when they were talking to each other at the bar or waitress station or when they served food or when they were on the personal phones checking social media. Smiles cost nothing, professionalism is everything

*updated review* Went tonight for my birthday. Lovely atmosphere, great servers. Quick service. Amazing food as always! Very attentive staff. Friendly and smiley. Food cooked amazingly! Just love this place!

We did not have a booking but went to Middlestons Steakhouse in Peterborough and we were given a table straightaway and the staff here were lovely. I was amazed by how wide a range of food they served and it's clear that they put customers first. The quality of the food here was lovely and perfectly seasoned. I do wish I kept pictures of this place because it was so good but I can't wait to visit next time. There is a premier feeling in this restaurant and it is perfect for dates because it's good lighting and the prices here are good, especially for the quality of food you get.

Just got home from visiting the restaurant. Great food for all the family. My Rib Eye steak was easily the best steak I've eaten in a very long time. Music in the restaurant was a brilliant mixture of classics which provided a beautiful atmosphere to go with the great service. I thoroughly recommend Middletons Peterborough. 5*

The waiter we had called mark went above and beyond his service was 100% made the experience absolutely brilliant couldn’t recommend more mark is a credit to the company

Good atmosphere, plenty of good vibes and people enjoying themselves. Althoigh food is very mediocre, very expensive for what you actually got. Mandatory service applied to bill, when service was nothing special.

Steaks are very good and prepared according to your wishes. Very tasty :) Recommended! Prices are appropriate and worth to pay for good quality dishes. Pleasant staff and cosy environment
