Is just my favourite place in Peterborough! I like their service system, is organised. The food is just delicious. And never experienced any rudeness from staff.

Really lovely food and drink. We had a tapas board and some sides, perfect for sharing. The vegan menu was amazing with lots of choices

I really enjoy the laid back atmosphere at Argo Lounge. During the day, it's absolutely family friendly to bring children, and at night it's the perfect place for a casual date or tapas with friends. The food is always delicious, I can't fault it.

Not a bad place for breakfast in the city center. The food wasn’t bad and the service was really good, all of the staff were friendly and polite. We got there just before it got really busy so the wait for food wasn’t long at all. They had a selection of games which kept the kids entertained.

We went here last Friday we were lookingforsomewheretoeat that was both child & dog friendly. The staff were lovely, cheerful & extremely helpful. The food was delicious & good value for money. I would highly recommend the Agro lounge.

Wheelchair friendly. Staff are Allergy aware. Gluten and Lactose Free is no problem and all Free From Food is prepared in a separate area. The Free From menu is excellent and adaptable. I had no problems as a wheelchair user and have food allergy’s . Lovely friendly staff. Food was nicely prepared and cooked to perfection. Price was as expected and not too expensive. I definitely recommend.

I had the big lounge breakfast. The quality of the items was good. However most of it was only warm and I prefer my food to be hot.(Luke warm beans are not for me) The breakfast comes with 2 fried eggs served on white or brown toast. My toast was not toast at all... It was just warm bread buttered with a spread which had melted underneath the egg making the bread soggy with spread. This wasn't to my taste and I left it. Having said all that I still believe it is nearly a very good breakfast... Please just serve the items hot and toast the bread properly.

Came to Peterborough for the Alice in Wonderland interactive game around the city. This was the first place we came across and glad we did. All staff really good and friendly. Nice selection on the menu at reasonable prices. Would have been 5/5 if 2 sausages on the breakfast but food was very good.

Picked this place because it looked cute from the outside and it was dog friendly. Was pleasantly surprised by the menu and enjoyed everything we ordered. Would definitely go again if I'm ever in Peterborough, again.

Me and my friend recently went there for late breakfast. Was first time visiting Argo Lounge and definitely not the last one! Staff were welcoming , friendly and attentive. Food came quickly and was delicious 😋 The place overall is cosy and pleasant to seat and eat. Ill happily come back again 😊

Enjoyed the visit. Good food and nice vibes. Would normally give this a 4, but will give it a 5 as it's in Peterborough and there aren't that many other options in this area.

Argo Lounge is a Spanish bar and restaurant in the city centre of Peterborough that's popular among the locals and tourists alike. The food I ordered (a trio of small plates: Pulled pork brisket, Salt & Pepper Squid & Meatballs Marinara for UKP 12.50). The portions are indeed small, but the quality of the individual tapas was good. I found the service to be welcoming and competent. A few kegged beers are available if you don't fancy the Spanish lagers. One "quibble": On a Saturday night, the restaurant was very busy - and INCREDIBLY LOUD. There was a bunch of communicative young women (aka flock of cheap floozies) across from my table who had even brought their infant(!) children in their prams to the restaurant after 9 pm - and were chatting unbelievably loudly, and at the table right next to me there was a trio of brawny, ripped men who could only scream at the top of their lungs. I guess you can't choose your customers. ;) - Other than that, a solid dining option in Peterborough.

Yummy big breaky, but only 4 stars due to eggs being overdone and cold mushrooms. I do also feel for the price, a drink should be included, not extra, as it was almost £18 in total, which is steep, and other places close by have breakfast and or lunch deals. Very good service, though, always very friendly and accommodating.

Dropped in on the off chance on a Wednesday evening. Service was great and the food was even better. My partner and I both had food from the tapas menu. All the food was beautifully cooked and seasoned. We both left with large smiles and full bellies, not anything else we could have asked for.

EDIT Since the recent change in management I have felt unwelcome and treated with disrespect. On a recent visit reserved sign was placed on a table just to stop us from sitting there, why this need for such petty control? I feel sad that regular customers are treated this way. ————————————————————————— Our craft group have descended on the Argo lounge every Tuesday morning for years and staff have always been so accommodating and welcoming. We often take over half of the floor space and have never been made to feel like we’re causing a nuisance- even though we obviously are! Thanks goes out to everyone, a lot of us have mental health issues and you’ve made Argo a safe space for us.

Terrific Cafe Bar, plenty of room and interestingly decorated well worth a visit. We popped in for Brunch and ordered a Big Lounge Breakfast, wow it was huge and delicious too, a proper breakfast you have to try one! Highly recommend. Staff are pleasant and looked after us. Thank you 🙏

One of my go to places in Peterborough, they have such a great selection of food and drink. I love that i can get pancakes at any time of the day! The decor is great and there is plenty of room inside (with downstairs seating too) and outside the restaurant. Always kept clean and tidy. Sometimes the staff can take a while to get to you but the addition of ordering on your phone helps with this. Would definitely recommend!

Just what were looking for a decent coffee and great breakfast. We enjoyed our orders and finished it off clean… will be back for sure and hopefully they’ll maintain the quality of food and welcoming staff.

Superb experience as always. It was very busy today but we got seated almost immediately and the food was served with minimal delay. Staff were as friendly and helpful as usual, more than happy to accommodate individual alterations to dishes for picky eaters. Food is always well presented and fantastic. Many thanks to the team

Eaten here several times and never been disappointed. Lots of vegetarian options and gluten-free catered for too. Always welcomed at door and will always move tables to accommodate if possible. It can be difficult to navigate wheelchair inside during busier times. Otherwise good access with disabled toilet. Lots of choices available on large menus favourites are breakfasts. On this occasion it was family lunch and the vegan sausage sandwich was excellent with hot crisp fries on the side. Place is kid friendly and families feel genuinely welcome. Just chilled.

Good range of Vegan option, good quality food and great portions. Friendly staff & good service. The coffee is also delicious 😋

One of my absolute favourite places. Always such friendly staff, always asking about allergies, how they can help and if there anything they should know to make your experience better. The food is always incredible, and never had a bad experience. Always a very nice atmosphere in the restaurant as well so I love visiting here.
