It's a small family owned and operated restaurant that serves excellent home cooked food. Cooked to perfection and well seasoned. Like grandma or aunties cooking...Everybody is so nice and the music is soothing, as well as relaxing.

I called this Location to ask if they had a specific menu item Out of all the stores i called they had what i was looking for. The reason i give them 5 stars is because of the atmosphere and customer service that i received when i arrived. They 2 young ladies at rhe front counter made sure to repeat my order back, ask if i needed condiments and were very professional. I met the owner and she was also very professional and informative. They have a nice dining area and a bar in the back. When i asked if they do events they said yes. This would be a great place if someone was looking to do a small gathering they may even do catering just ask. There very friendly and open. Definitely returning soon.

I wanted some fish so looked up places and this came up with good reviews so I decided to give them a try. I passed by it the first time because you can’t tell from the outside really that’s it’s a restaurant. I was greeted when I walked in and the ladies in there were really friendly and helpful with ordering since it was my first time. I ended up getting the turkey wings with cabbage and Mac & cheese and I was not disappointed!! They were so good and earned them a loyal customer!

Came down from Cincinnati, Ohio and stopped in for lunch. The food was delicious and generous portions. Could only eat half of everything & took the rest for later. Best oxtail’s & cakes I ever ate!!! Definitely will be back next year! Thank you Dorset & family for your hospitality ❤️

Food is always delicious and staff are friendly and inviting. Excellent customer service and you feel right at home each visit. Oh and again the food is DELICIOUS! I’ve never been disappointed. Would upload pics but my food barely makes it home lol. Don’t take my works see for yourself.

Found the restaurant on google while colleges in area. When I went inside I received a warm welcome. The food was delicious and the sweet tea was fresh brewed. I will definitely return when I am in town.

I was craving good fried fish && this location popped up on Google. Customer service was really friendly , our food was cooked fresh && we didn't wait long at all . Luckily I don't live far so food was still super hot && DELICIOUS !! Talk about a food coma 😴 we will back for sure ❤️

I tried some of the pulled pork bbq at a ball tournament here in town. Hands down, some of the most flavorful bbq I have ever eaten. It was so good I got the information for the restaurant and will absolutely be checking be out.

Ayoooo. I just moved to va from ny and I commute to chesterfield and Petersburg from Carrollton so some days I don’t even go home just going from Job to job. I haven’t had GOOD food since I got here! I promise you this place done Blessed me multiple times🥹🥹my first visit I knew I’d be back as often as possible bc these are now my Aunts🤭I really was ready to cry I was so grateful to find this place. Now I’m visiting Ny and all I can think about is getting back here for some chicken Mac and potatoe salad. The music is always a vibe and instantly puts me in a great mood. I can really go on and on about this place. Just Treat yourself Don’t cheat yourself. I’m quitting both my jobs bc the commute is oD but I’m still going to come visit this place and I’m bringing my brother with me. I love you ladies Dearly.

I really like the food at Ernestine’s, however, they advertised as being open at 11:30 am on Wednesdays, it’s more like 12:30 or 1 pm. Prices and food better than Shut Yo Mouf and Croaker Spot. The weird thing about Ernestine’s is that there is no signage anywhere on or near the restaurant. I mistakenly drove by the restaurant several times looking for “Ernestine’s Table Restaurant.” Much to my surprise…I found none?

We were in the area and enjoyed our meals. We suggest putting a screen at door or a fly grabber. The food was delicious.
