One of Petersburg's hidden gems. Great lunchtime quick spot. Best burgers and Hot dogs around. Prices very reasonable. One of those places where everyone seems to have a smile when you walk in.

This was my first visit, the cashier was sweet and welcoming. I purchased a BLT with fries, and (1) egg and sausage with potatoes. The BLT was 2 slices of bacon split in half to what I ordered the employee that equal 4 pieces for the BLT. Barely any taste of bacon, the tomatoes were larger and the taste was pronounced more then Bacon. I asked for for added onions and please potatoes to be fired/grill hard but not burned, they were as sauce as mash potatoes. All this for apprx $16, not worth it.

A friend and I went there yesterday, (02/15/2023). The service was great and the hotdogs even better. Being born and raised in Petersburg, they reminded me of the ole days when Louie Placard ran the Dixie Restaurant back in the 50's and 60's. Parking can sometimes be difficult but it's well worth it.

Nice little dinner. Good food and great service. Great prices.

This used to be the well known Andrew's Grill before they closed but all of us were lucky enough to have Pete pick it up and continue to serve us the best hotdogs in central Virginia. If you like hotdogs you have to include this in your places to eat them.

The food is not the same anymore, the staff was rude, long wait because of rude staff! People begging for money on the streets 🤦🏾‍♀️

Quick service and very friendly staff. I had the, 3 chili dogs all the way special and it was great. The chili was not too messy and the hot dog was well put together.

My dad took me as a kid, now I'm taking my kids.

Nostalgia is no longer here maybe because I grew up with the cashier acting like my happy Aunt with great customer service. Long lines and the feeling of a National Landmark in my hometown. Now, the food is just not bad but not I have to have this again. Pete's is not Andrew's but I did not expect that anyway. Nothing stay's the same but almost being 45 and going to this rrstaurant my entire life just feels different.

I visit with my friends here at Pete's grill all the time love the atmosphere and all of the staff and have known the owner for many years and they are wonderful people
