Space has a nice atmosphere! It’s cozy enough to sit and relax for a longer period with friends and family. Waitstaff doesn’t rush you which is great but on the flip side it’s a bit slow. if you’re starving then it will be frustrating, but If you have the time to wait it’s good. We got the California burger, the Cuban, and the French dip. The burger was pretty good but the avocado on the side wasn’t too fresh. The sweet potato fries were soo delicious! The Cuban was pretty good but a little basic for my taste. The potato salad had too much mayonnaise so was hard to taste anything but that. The French dip was good and the best when you dipped it in the sauce. The drink was an espresso martini that tasted pretty good! Nice hint of coffee and alcohol. Then we got the strawberry shortcake. It wasn’t my favorite, taste a little generic so will pass next time. Still will come back and try new things. Nice place with lots of food options. We paid $60 plus tip. Prices are fair!

Went for lunch. Laid back, clean, and friendly. The menu variety is nice. Portion sizes are perfect and not to big. Really liked the fried green tomatoes and seared Ahi tuna appetizers.

Enjoyed an excellent lunch here while touring around Petersburg. Grilled cheese, club sandwich and Philly Cheesesteak (me). Everyone enjoyed their selections and drinks 🍸. I wish the peppers on my Cheesesteak had been diced a bit smaller cos they kept trying to escape and it was a challenge to eat, but very good. One of the best Bloody Mary's I've had in a while. Why? I think it was extra "citrusy", which I really liked. Friendly and attentive server and convenient parking in a lot across the street (free).

One of my go to places to meet with friends when brainstorming our next business moves! My favorite is the Philly wrap and waffle fries. The onion rings are banging too! Staff is cool and the atmosphere is chill. I'd recommend trying them out!

The food was incredible and are waitress we had a party at 5 she took our orders which a couple of them were very difficult and she didn't even write it down. We thought for sure she would get at least one thing wrong but she didn't she was stellar everything was correct service was great and she was an awesome waitress

Beautiful place to have lunch. It was so nice to sit and eat with a view out of the window and the sun shining. The soup of the day was great and I could eat a whole basket of the sweet potato fries.

I swear I thought I did this already. Everything was very good, including the service. I asked for a sample of the potato salad and it was so good that I had it as my side. Our server has probably popped by now and I'd like to congratulate her as a new mommy. Enjoy this time because it goes by so quickly. When you're done eating at Longstreet , run over to Petersburg Pickers I, especially if they are having a half-price sale.

I loved this deli bee wanting to go the service was spot on and the crab cakes were to perfection I highly recommend

I went during lunch and sat at the bar. The restaurant was fairly busy, and only a few staff appeared to be working in the dining room. I ordered a corned beef Ruben with fries as the side. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. However, the fries were kind of cold and half of my sandwich had much less meat than the other. I had a Ruben at Perly's last week and I was curious how this would compare to a Jewish deli. For being only $10 pre-tax the food was alright. I would come back to Longstreet's again but definitely would try something else on the menu because the Ruben just didn't hit the spot for me. The staff were all friendly and polite.

We come to this place for the night cap and the dessert. They have a variety of cheese cake and monster slices of cake. The bar is pretty good, although they didn't have bitters to make an Old Fashioned last time I was there. But again, the dessert section is the place to come after dinner in downtown.

Try to partake in a meal weekly. So far everything I've ordered has been great. Service is friendly and quick. Would recommend without reservation.

Sunday, just after lunchtime, and it really wasn't horribly busy. I got a little confused though, because the sign said to wait to be seated. I waited for staff, and they said I could sit anywhere, which was nice, because I got to sit at one of the low tables right next to the window. It could be a little close in here, but basically it is accessible to all. Parking was not a problem today, but some days I think it might be.

We arrived and the menu had been cut to limited appetizers. I live close by and always try to patronize the local private restaurants. Have eaten here many times in the past and very pleased. We ordered the crab dip so disappointed it was like nothing but cream cheese warmed up. We said the bar and the bartender was very kind and took it back. Then we ordered the chicken tender appetizer, It had a real old taste to it, It was very nasty. I don't know but this restaurant has declined in their food that used to be so delicious. I started to call management but I thought what good would it really do. So I have rated this as a one in the quality of food. Atmosphere and staff are very nice.

I appreciate the simple setup and theme. The crab dip and chips were delicious. The bacon bbq cheeseburger was ok but the waffle fries were the best. Overall, I was satisfied. Parking can be a chore however so keep that in mind when coming here

Got a to-go roast beef toasted sub today for lunch and it was delicious! It had plenty of meat on it and absolutely hit the spot. It wasn't fancy looking, but the best roast beef subs aren't supposed to be. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful to me as a first time visitor. Definitely will be a back!

Excellent food and experience. The wait staff is fantastic. My family and I have never had a bad meal there. Great dessert cakes!

Food was perfect, good atmosphere to sit and talk without it being too loud. Waitstaff was real attentive and made sure our table and others were taken care of. Didn't get drinks this time so can't comment on those but overall a good option downtown.

The beef & blackened bean burgers were sumptuous. The sweet potatoes fries perfect. The mint chocolate mouse outstanding. The music a joy to listen too (albeit a bit loud, hence the 4 stars for atmosphere). And the servers very friendly & helpful. Definitely a "come again" restaurant. Thanks for a delightful lunch.

$7 for a salad this size is insanity. Staff was unwilling to make it right. Hard pass on returning here. There are plenty of other great businesses in the area to get food next time.

On several occasions my family and I had dined at this establishment with minimal issues but on yesterday we entered the semi-full establishment riding high from a great worship experience. After entering, we stood at the door 10 minutes waiting to be seated with not such as a acknowledgement or hello from the staf. After making Eye contact with several patron and a couple of the staff, it was obvious we weren't welcome. As stated before I have not only visited Longstreet before but even promoted it's business. After what we, my family and I experienced yesterday, we will not be back. Clearly disappointed

The staff was kind, food good, the place is small. When it gets full, the space between the tables is tight.

Friendly staff. Music was way too loud literally couldn't hear anything and the vibrations vibrated the counter 😂 but gave it a 4 because good beer good service

Pretty good most occasions. But with short staffing, they can get distracted... and someone will get forgotten. I cannot think of a single meal I didnt enjoy, so I'll says it's all good. OH! They have a Sunday Brunch now at 10 am... with real bacon and eggs. So many places stopped serving omelets, or eggs (except as a topper to something). It's really nice to just down to an omelet and OJ (or Green Bloody Mary) at times. It's a real shame the city took down the patio area.

Atmosphere is nice, very comfortable. Service was absolutely fine. We got subs which were delicious. Hubby hot fries which were horrible. When you bite into them they're hollow. Fries aren't suppose to be hollow. That's the reason for 4 stars.

This Deli is great! It has an amazing atmosphere. There are people of all ages here but mainly college students and military. They have live music on the weekends and a menu everyone can be happy with regardless of your diet and the service is friendly and considerate of your needs!

Great beer selection although the beers are $8 for Talls. Food is decent, mostly fried and conventional, lgreat service, and we really appreciate the outdoor seating.

Food is always good, must try the cakes 👌, great draft beer selections and atmosphere, I eat here almost weekly now.

Regularly visit there for a delicious lunch. Can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches. They have great service and delicious beer on tap.

Really enjoyed the Sailor sandwich. Appetizers are BIG. This isn't a place where you order fried oysters and get like 4. There were probably 15 on the plate. Same with the shrimp app.
