We enjoyed visiting Petersburg Alaska as we're sailing Northbound. The Coastal Cold Storage restaurant is an obvious hot spot with the locals. Although it's unassuming, the food was outstanding. The service was exceptional. The tarter sauce was very good. I had the salmon burger and my husband had the shrimp bits. Don't overlook CCS to dine in, carry out, or pick up their great selection of fresh/frozen fish. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because they didn't have any Salmon dip.

Excellent customer service. Had the grilled hollabit burger, It was fantastic!! Looking forward visiting again.

Coastal Cold Storage has been open for over 20 years and has THE BEST HALIBUT BEER BITS that you will ever taste in your life. I left Petersburg in 2000 but always make a point to come here when I visit. No other beer bits have compared in my life. I also adore their smoked salmon dip. I'm telling you, nothing compares.

Delicious battered halibut and clams and other choices, including breakfasts. Busy with a short line, but tables are available inside and outside, though only about nine total. The portions are generous.

We got two fish dishes. Both were fantastic. Fish plate with cod, clam, and shrimp. Plus, a dish of Halibut chips. Great service with a positive attitude. Fried with what tasted like healthy coconut oil. No food wasted. Very happy.

Excellent egg and reindeer sausage breakfast sandwich. They gave me a second egg when I asked — delicious. Someone else got biscuits and gravy and said it was OK. They also have various frozen and fresh fish from local fisherman and they can ship in quantity. We heard that the halibut beer bits were excellent but did not try.

Tom was fantastic, we were in Petersburg early August and Tom filled my order and shipped it to my house. Thank you again, excellent service and even better quality of Red & White salmon as well as the Halibut.
