It
was
a
hot
Saturday
evening
and
my
husband
and
I
and
2
other
couples
were
wanting
to
enjoy
a
meal
together.
Our
first
choice
was
closed,
so
we
decided
to
go
to
Croakers.
The
restaurant
was
lively
(reminded
me
of
a
place
you’d
find
in
New
Orleans
or
Charleston
SC),
the
architecture
was
rustic
and
interesting,
but
it
was
uncomfortably
warm
in
there.
The
restaurant
had
a
difficult
time
finding
seats
for
our
party
of
6,
so
we
waited
well
over
an
hour
to
be
seated.
Once
seated
it
took
us
about
15
minutes
to
get
drinks
and
another
30
or
more
to
get
our
meals.
Everyone
got
a
variety
but
none
of
the
food
“WOWED”
us
except
for
the
cornbread
(delish
and
huge).
During
my
meal
I
almost
choked
on
my
fish.
I
had
to
run
to
the
bathroom
and
pull
5
fish
bones
out
of
my
bottom
gums
(they
were
like
needles).
Never
have
I
ever
eaten
whiting
with
so
many
bones!
Then
further
into
the
meal
I
began
to
have
an
allergic
reaction
and
had
to
take
Benadryl.
I’m
guessing
my
fish
might
have
been
cross
contaminated
with
shrimp
(which
I’m
allergic
to).
I
told
the
waiter
about
the
bones
and
that
they
need
to
warn
people,
but
he
just
brushed
me
off.
This
place
was
an
overpriced
waste
of
time
and
money.
We
have
no
plans
to
return.
